Using plug count in some cases can be inaccurate. Some modern cars come with 2 plugs per cylinder, so an i4 engine can have 8 plugs. The better descriptor is to use cylinder count. I4, i5, V6, i6, v8, V12, w16... There are also odd balls like boxer 4 found in Subaru cars, flat six and flat 4 found in Porsches.

The question above was postulated by one of the greatest scientists of the 20th century, Alan Turing. The question forced computer scientists to think of ways to handle machines. They trained machines using data sets and the machines were able to make logical deductions from the data it had been given. It led to the development of neural networks.
It wasn't much of a success then because of the lack of adequate data and less computational power of the machines but now we have the data and we have the machines. Developed countries are already using it to improve the quality of their lives.
Lots of people here in Nigeria limit the definition of Computer science to the development of apps and websites, forgetting that it is just a part.
I created this thread to ask about the future of machine learning in Nigeria. It can be used to solve a wide variety of problems from finance, health etc.

I will like to know, what is the difference between an engine that uses diesel and that which uses petrol

Petrol engines use spark plugs to light the air-fuel mixture for combustion to occur while diesel engines relies on the heat generated by the high compression pressure of air-fuel mixture to ignite it and get it burning in the combustion chamber.

The petrol engines are good for high revs whereas the diesels metals don't like this. The high revs of pet engines generates higher frequency which is easy to dampen and balance hence they run smoother than diesel engines which prefers idles at lower RPMs. The diesel engines have more torque compared to similar displacement pet engines.

Diesel engines are used in trucks because they have the required torque to move heavy loads with less fuel consumption while a petrol engine that will be required to carry same loads will be a fuel drinking monster, hence it's not viable. Because of this high load capacity due to it's high torque output, diesel is used in heavy machineries and also ships.

I'll edit this when I think of more. Got presentation to prepare for right now.

Some 4 cylinders had 8 spark plugs.

I was about to come in and make corrections but you already did. Some people don't realize that plug count does not determine the number of cylinders an engine has. A lot of newer vehicles have two spark plugs per cylinders for efficient combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber.

I understand this. I meant the wealth doesn't trickle down for the masses to have more money to play around with pursuing their hobbies and acting out fantasies. Average Nigerian na hustle guy. The environment is tough and unencouraging but we're forging through.

The restoration of this will no doubt be expensive but our people suffer from lack of disposable income. This is something I'd like to purchase and restomod with lots of modern and more powerful drivetrains components in it with chassis reinforcement to compensate for the kind of power it'll have. It'll disgrace newer vehicles that will want to challenge me on the road. It'll be the ultimate sleeper and a total beast underneath. As nice as all those sound, I can't afford it.

Edit.
Drivetrain idea: ls2 v8 with T56 Tremec 6 speed tranny.
Might also consider turbo changing or supercharging it depending on the driving dynamics after the initial installation.
Other things like custom mounts and brackets for fitting the drivetrain might be an issue trying to find a good fabricator.
