I was recently diagnosed of heartburn "the wild type though." I was placed on lifestyle prevention as well as medication. Based on my findings, despite its name (heartburn), it doesn't have anything to do with the heart. My question now is if it's still a defect from the heart as being told by someone.

I did some research and here are my findings

Research shows that there are natural remedies like fruits that contain natural antacids (Apple and Banana), Juices (Aloe Vera juice, Pineapple juice & other vegetable juice), Candies (Sugar free fruit-flavoured gum, potato and yellow mustard).

Medications are in 3 categories:

1. Antacid: Such as Rolaids Ultra Strength Tablet, Tums Ultra Strength 1000 and Maalox etc.

2. H2-Receptor Blockers: Zantac (Ranitidine) and pepcid AC etc.

3. PPIs: Prilosec (Omeprazole) Esomeprazole (very effective as recommended)

Antacid only provide an instant relief, it doesn't heal the damaged part of the oesophagus. H2-Receptor Blockers provides a more lasting relief but still doesn't cure. Based on my research, only PPIs treats and heals the damaged part (if any).

I also read about complications of excessive intake of those drugs as it can result to several other diseases. Frequent heartburn (GERD) or hyperacidity can result into ulcer, internal bleeding or even cancer.

Some peeps also suggest Epson Salt to be bathed with luke warm/warm water at night as it help heals damages.

That's the scope of my research.... I need urgent suggestions from my beloved nairalanders Cuz mine isn't the moderate type.

3. A designer who gives his designs the ability to self repair and modify over time..

Humans are currently level two designers, the goal of our technological adventure is to reach the third level of design.

Take our recent ventures into artificial intelligence (as a branch of computer science) for example.

We no longer need a computer that acts on our inputed data but one that thinks, assimilate data, modify, grow, adapt and evolve neurologically.

Of these design categories, which would you say God is?

1. It's obvious that if there is a God then we all are abandoned creatures. God must have created the universe (particularly our solar system) in a haste and must have forgotten or so busy with a lot of stuff that he didn't perceive that intelligent being like humans happen to exist on planet earth.

2. The coming of Jesus Christ is a very good example. God realized a faulty human-like creature and decided to come visit earth in their form, in order to modify them and start with them afresh. The afterlife ish also prove this.

3.This is so obvious to everyone as our careless creator has abandon us with the woeful problems that life presented to us. We wake up everyday facing unending struggles and challenges. We gradually evolve both in our use of intellectual faculty, emotional Intelligence and in relationship with our immediate world and environment.

Many possibilities exist
1. It's either there is a God who happen to have abandoned us
2. A God who knew that we exist but doesn't care about us, deliberately or probably because he has too many planets to worry about.
3. A God who only consider earth and our solar system as an impractical model of what a real planet or solar system should look like
4. A God who lack all the characteristics of a father or doesn't meet the criteria
5. A partial God
6. A God that has now become an inferior version of what he created
7. A God that sees human as a competition
8. A God that can't do or live without human
9. A God that was only written about by our ancestors just to pass over time.
10. Our ancestors hyped imaginations

The tragedy here is that we all were told and indoctrinated with the same fables, but at a certain time, some start putting their brain to use.

I use this opportunity to say that in the year 2018 and beyond, we will experience the sudden death of religion in Nigeria, science will stand a chance to reign, more churches and mosques demolish, more industries taking place, companies littered everywhere, more firms on our street, adults using their brain, no more doom saying of going back to farming by our politicians and prophets, people going into IT, more automaths, more polymaths among us, more inventors, no more tithing, donations to IT firms, apprehension of pastopreneurs, constructions of our political system and most expecially the rise of Gods insignificance.

The above did not prove God existence in any way at all. Existence today as we all know it is a product of an accidental cause." That's why you will always find such thing in every occurrence in life. 8 planets exist in our solar system and only one currently support life (that's an accidental cause). These cause is quite weird to read meaning to because it might favour one entity while the other might be left not favoured. The reason behind the survival of one person in a car accident is the same reason behind earth being the only inhabited planet in our solar system. Existence is a product of unorganised accidental explosion, unintelligentlly coordinated towards an intelligent process. This phenomenon begat intelligent laws while the mechanism of those laws are busy governing our universe today.
As an Atheist, I hold on to the theory of an accidental cause as the primary cause of the universe. What triggers the accident will be answered when you narrate for me who created your God and how he came to be. Mind you, there is no intelligent designer or God behind an accidental cause. The cause of the Big Bang must have been as a result of the Accidental cause.

Here on earth, we've seen occurrences where all people survived in an accident, where nobody survived, where only one person dead, where 7 people dead, where 3 where in coma and so on. The entire outcome is based on a random process. If an accident happens today, there is probability that you may die or not, lost your right hand or not, be in coma or not, or probably not wounded at all. Everything toggles and life goes on.

The fact that your God is the beginning and the end is a huge miracle. If I am God, I will forever be taken aback because it will amuses me while I happens to be the alpha.

God is not real!!!

Life on Earth to me is not a laboratory setting where people come to perform experiment to see whether they are qualified for paradise or not.... If so, then the purpose of life as proposed by your God is worthless and a futile exercise.

Life on earth to me is also not a chorister unit where people rehearse on their next/intended presentations. If so, then the purpose of life as illustrated by your God is ridiculous and baseless.

Let's assume that there is heaven, it doesn't add up to me when I see people rehearsing and practicing on how to live there even before getting there. That's why I asked you that did I pray to Get to Earth before I got here The answer is plainly No!

No one gets any attention in Suspense and in absentia. If an Angel gaze at us in the sky today, it's obvious that you will be surprise the same way I would. Today, what you know about heaven is not beyond the hefty lies obfuscated in the bible. You know nothing about heaven the same way I don't.

Science that is rapidly evolving amidst the 20th and 21st century are still struggling to figure out the origin of the universe not to even talk about the designer behind it. Yet, religion that was constructed during primitive ages and civilisations had already figured out the creator behind our universe. This time around, they found thousands of them.

How I wish that there is really an intelligent designer that also has the heaven and hell constructs at its disposal. . . Atheist like me will just be staring at you in hell when you are damn busy enjoying your punishment as a reward for betraying sanity while on earth. This time around, it won't be forever because of the chasm that persist between a God and an intelligent designer.

When I gets to heaven, I will definitely adapt and swiftly learn about my new change of planetary environment, their morals, ethics, civilisations and educational system.

Heaven is not even a nice place to live to begin with... Ask the devil, am sure he knows best.

Any territory or kingdom that once experienced war has the potential of re experiencing one in the nearest future.

Unfortunately, out of curiosity and desperate agitations from our beloved heavens candidates, one day, another war will break up in heaven just as it once did.

Have you ever bothered to ask what triggered Satan to agitate and protested against God Heaven's media group twisted the word protest and agitation and replaced it with the word "rebel." The devil did not rebel, he agitated for freedom just like the biafrans.

Even if I make heaven, the fact that the entire human race has gone extinct including our history, science, technologies and civilisations will make me to always feel sobber in heaven.

If there is no science in heaven then paradise is not worth heading to.

And if there is a God that equate an intelligent designer and an intelligent designer that equate a God, then to me, science will be his religion, genius will be his chosen one, scientists will be his disciples, Einstein will be his prophet, Newton his Apostle, the theory of physics will be his ways, the law of science will be his commandments, mathematics will be his dialect, engineering his creative potentials, business his livelihood and technology will be his only begotten son.

Sometimes, I just wonder that imagine that an intelligent being racked his brain and created this universe, then a primitive being living in an insignificant planet thinks that the best way to appreciate this grand designer is by dancing to him in church, bombarding him with repetitive idle words (prayers), fasting to him and by giving to him ten per cent of their hard earned money.

If and only if the christian God happens to be the creator in charge of this universe, then experiencing happiness in heaven will be a cold day in hell for me.
