we should be picky on which threads are worth our attention from now on

I've observed some threads that's built on dishonest premise

first it was "Atheists prove there is no god"

then "Prove Atheism is logical" amongst other threads

such threads make no sense

I once sent messages to some of my fellow atheists months back telling them to ignore certain threads and concentrate on those that are worth it even if it means NO thread for days or weeks

When God made Adam and Eve he said they could eat anything except from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It sounds like that tree grants the knowledge, so before they ate they didn't know good from bad.

If a young child takes something that is not his, we don't say he sinned, right? Because he didn't know better. Or is that wrong and we do say he sinned?

Yes they disobeyed God but why should they know that's bad? I want to understand why they (and everybody after them) were punished for this. if they did know that what they were doing was bad, how did they know, or if they didn't know, then what makes it a sin?

When you really think about it,not too long ago,in the 19th century, Typhoid fever was deemed as incurable and even referred to as demonic possessions by priests, and religious leaders.
