Very touching..... It's a shame that stupid people dominate the country. Weird and aardvark creatures everywhere. Africa to me is not even a continent to begin with, it's an enlarged country. Likewise the state called Nigeria too where people takes religion to head. Even if religion is working for other countries, it's obvious that its not working for Nigeria. Am not mandating that we should kill religion in Africa "though religion is dying" because vast range of our ancestors are attached to this religion. Many of which are insignificant while some of them managed to be significant in human history. If religion dies, those insignificant will not have a place in human history because worshipping God was the only remarkable achievement they made in their lifetime. Religion gives hope to common people (the fleeceable dudes among us). It gives them the sensation of inheriting a mansion in paradise even though they didn't have one while on earth. There has to be a chasm, a distinction between what religion is and what religion is not. To build Africa, we need the people and not their Gods, We needs their potentials and not Gods manifestation of divinity. There is a scientific postulations that human life forms evolved from Africa. The humans which evolved from our human-chimp ancestors (now extinct) left Africa. Later on, those remaining later evolved but something is lacking in their evolution. They evolved physically but mentally they didn't. The brain (the Hardware) African has is a camouflage..... We don't have a mind (the intelligent Software) to use it. Until Africa evolve mentally we will never find the change we desire. We need thinkers and not prayer warriors, Creative minds and not those who meditate (focus their minds) on a single book. Its a shame whenever I heard pastors telling their congregations to be reading books and then limiting their reading capabilities to just a single book and motivational books. A single book call Bible cannot guarantee our intellectual prowess. Religious books e.g. Bible is a primitive constructs of human history. Inane combinations of stories, history, superstitions, fictions, comics and other literary forms of arts. The story of Abraham is not the business of Nigerians. The religious minds of Africa keep shouting problem! problem!! problem!!! but i kept asking myself.... Where is the problem? There is no problem without human, no man - no problem. How many prayer points landed man on the moon? How many days fasting landed curiosity rover on mars? Are the problems of the religious life greater than the aforementioned? Prayer only waste times, it doesn't solve problem but creative and organized thinking does. You've been praying for decades but these God ain't showing up. Some people keep waiting for rapture when the whites are busy exploring the universe - paving ways to preserve human existence and history. Whether Angels, Demons, Gods, Satan...... they are all Aliens. All Aliens has a common vision - Aliens mission are to colonize, rule and to enslave (RETHINK). You are fooled with the bliss of paradise, what about its boredom? Someone promise you eternal life and you are not curious enough to ask what you will be doing forever. Some people committed suicide in this lifetime that didn't elapse 120 years because they are damn tired. Imagine how people will get tired after living in a solitary kingdom for a thousand years. Wars once broke up in heaven and one-third of angels left heaven because they are too tired. They agitated for their freedom but ignorant writers called it rebellion. Have you ever ask why the angels agitated? And what really caused the war? Something looks fishy here. The heavens you want to make is insecure (rethink). If angels agitated you don't need a prophet to tell you that humans will. Yahweh was once peculiar to Israelites before gaining emergence by chance, happenstance, genocides, mockery, myths condemnation and other imaginary stunts of the writer. During then, Yahweh was called "the God of Israel" before being generalized to the rest of the world. There is no way an intelligent Creator will abandon countless number of planets desolated and uninhabited and will proffer to dispense all attentions to earth (a planet described by scientists as an insignificant planet). That wasn't the work of the Creator (if any) but the handiwork of our uneduced ancestors who looked and overestimated the complex structure of the universe and coined God (an inscription and a placeholder to fill the gap of their unknown). God is Earthbound (accepted) - The reason why he is still homocentric is left unexplained. God is Homocentric (accepted) - The reason why he is racial is detesting and practically quite abhorring. GOD chose Israel and position Israelites in top hierarchy in his kingdom. Yet, silly Nigerians want to spend eternity in Abraham's quarters. Every race, culture and tradition has its own religious books and all are portraying a common image and pursuing a common goal. Those books always favour the source (country or the race of the writer). The most annoying thing in the bible is the representation of God by a credulous being. An atheist is a person that was once circular, religious and now atheistic, (s)he has a wider range of experience than the gullible folks of religion. The issue is not whether there is a creator or not..... The issue is that: What is your business with the Creator and what is the business of this Creator with you? This life is not an experimental laboratory where we are expected to rehearse how to live. It is not rational to be living a spiritual life with a natural body in a natural world. When we get to heaven (a spiritual habitat) human we start learning to live a spiritual life with a spiritual body in such spiritual abode. The interesting thing is that we are pretty good at learning. Christians portrayed the wrong myth cuz there is a chasm between a God and an intelligent designer, and the God of any religion ain't meet the standard of such intelligent designer. Every African who has watched this movie (‘3 idiots’) will definitely smile and admit that this is an awesome movie when he or she hears the name. There is no doubt that this movie has a moving and fantastic story and one that will have a significant impact on you anytime you watch it. I watched this movie for the third time with a friend, I learned something I have never realized. Rancho is the lead character and constantly has problems with the educational system, something he believes produces only Machines. There is, however, one actor who loves the system; Chauver! He is the exact opposite of Rancho. Chauver is great at memorizing long definitions and long essays without bothering to know the meaning not to talk of how to apply them. Being Engineering student meant that he could only pass exams but not fixing mechanical problems nor electronic issues. He only studied for grades and not for passion, he studied to be certified (A+) but not for the wonders of science. Does that ring a bell? My friend asked me a question, do you know this movie has a message for Africans? Of course I didn’t know that and my response was swift. He smiled and asked, where did Chauver say he comes from? I quickly responded Uganda and it became clear what he meant. How accurate the producers were in using someone from Africa (not necessarily from Africa but in the movie he is) to play such role! It was perfect; Chauver represents the educational system in Africa where we heavily rely on bookish definitions but can hardly apply a thing. We are encouraged to memorise and produce during exams and we are certain to receive awards for that. Those who cannot learn by rote are left frustrated like Joy(the student who committed suicide), the system doesn’t allow you any breathing space. Chauver represents you and I; constantly hoofing and puffing to become first in our class rather than enjoying what we are being taught. We do not care whether we understand or not once we pass our exams we are the heroes. That is our Africa, that is what Chauver represents. Until we learn to be like Rancho we will never be our bosses but screaming and shouting out our peasant achievements. I really have to go because the educational system will not allow us to do other things but I promise I will not stop writing. You should not stop doing what you love to do. . . Like Rancho, I will live every moment to the fullest. I am certainly not dreaming to be like Chauver, it should not be your dream too. Chauver is Africa, Africa is Chauver but Africa must be Rancho. ‘3 Idiots’ sent us a message about the flaws in our educational system. We may not have realized but it certainly gives us some solutions we can us to build Africa. Africa must be Rancho. This is the message RETHINK 2017 is all about.... 19 Likes 10 Shares |

If you think that life is all about doing good or bad, then you lack something fundamental about the human existence. You are no longer human but a hanuman, you are no longer homo sapience but a mere sapience. So if what's pertaining to us is righteousness alone, then God himself lack something fundamental about being a Creator as well as his own existence. At least, we humans too create robots and we didn't just create them to be either doing good or bad but for a more profound purpose. The Bible was rather written by the inspiration of man's imagination. That's why we have thousand of God's of which the Christian God is only taking the lead. |

Your claim that God is the Creator of the universe is nothing but a cunning way of generalizing Yahweh as the Creator of everything in the universe. The version of the Bible quoted by felixomor is quite good. At least the word "heaven and earth" had been substituted with the word "universe". If not for science, no body, no religion on earth would have known that something called a universe even exist. Religion just generalized God as the Creator of the universe without giving any clue about both the God and the universe itself. Science that doesn't even know who created the universe help us to differentiate planets from galaxies and to as well know more about the universe "our observable universe". They gave us clue about the stars and even went as far launching artificial creation on moons and planets. The good news is that God (Yahweh) created the universe while FSM created the multiverse. Every smart people will always go for the superior God [FSM]. Stephen Hawkins finished it when he said that "Science will Win because it Works". |

God's divinity strictly rely on mans ability to function effectively. Mans ability can function without God's divinity/ability. God's ability cannot function without mans ability. Gods ability plus mans ability can coherently function. Something is missing here..... Something is deceptive. Something is hiding underneath. Religion is playing a prank on people. Religious consuetude is a placeholder used by common people, used by the weak, the gullible and those that wasn't trained on how to face reality.

God spend 24 hours focusing and diverting all attentions to earth (an attention that should otherwise be dispense to the billions of planets he created), directing our fate and out of negligence unintelligently jeopardizing other planets. I believe in accidental cause and not even intelligent cause on the origin of the universe. Accidental cause accidentally simulates intelligent laws, that govern the behaviour of the intelligent part of nature and the universe. The Big Bang itself must have betides and detonated as a result of an accidental explosion and must have been caused by an accidental cause. What an erratic and extemporaneous chance and happenstance for the universe birth. A claim that there is an intelligent designer is a consummation of the Christian cursory panorama on life issues and the observable universe. This is because we are living in a dangerous and uncaring universe that harbor good and bad. The notion of crummy circumstances shouldn't have been the architectural handiwork and invention of any intelligent designer. Please let's read the Bible with an open mind and let's allow the spirit of God to help us interpret the Scriptures. The holy Bible says that "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth". Apart from the heavens (the imaginary worlds), earth is the only substantial planet created by Yahweh. By default or by order of reason, where did you expect Yahweh to send Satan to Earth of course (the only planet he created in this vast and expanding universe). 1 Like |

God's confidence in controlling people is not in his power, courage, strength, wealth, and riches but in his ability to impart fear in their minds. Fear is God's greatest investment. Fear is his assets. God didn't succeed in fearing other civilizations in alien worlds but unfortunately, earth is a victim. Fear! The strategy used by the wise, the brave and the smart religious folks to cheat on the gullible. Fear! The language of religion. Fear! The hope of the religious. Fear! The destination of the righteous (sorry, the fearful) Fear! A substitute for the unknown and a terminology used by those that can't face reality. Fear!
