I bet your father has passed away by now. If your mother physically assaulted him and he showed restraint just to keep the peace, she likely mistook his patience for weakness. Women often view a man's refusal to fight back as a vulnerability, yet if a man does defend himself, the narrative completely flips. So many men suffer and die in silence because no one cares about their side of the story. But the moment a woman is involved, social media amplifies it immediately. It’s a classic case of playing the victim when you're actually the aggressor. God will judge everyone equally. Kelle443: |
There should be public awareness and terms and conditions when anyone is living with you from outside your immediate family. |
Still chasing first bank to return the money i subscribed to spectranet service that failed, and they told me the money is still pending for the past 30 days |
Na wa o, my bank is the worst of them all. Access Bank is seriously testing my patience. At this point, I’m even considering closing all my accounts and moving my salary account to one of these fintech banks. Imagine, I’ve been chasing this bank since February just to reactivate my domiciliary account. I’ve visited their Oba Akran branch several times, spoken with customer service repeatedly, and the documents they requested are even more than what I submitted when opening the account. In fact, their customer service team has video called me more than 10 times already. I’m sure after all this stress, they’ll still come back and say my utility bill has expired because it’s now over three months old, while the account still remains dormant. |
The price of N189 million per vehicle does sound pretty outrageous. Are they’re buying spaceships. At that price, it might be some really high-end military vehicles, specialized equipment, or luxury vehicles for the elites, though it does seem a bit much. Nigeria has seen some crazy spending on defense, infrastructure, and high-profile projects that often raise eyebrows, I come in peace. |
In a tragic recurrence of violence, the peaceful community of Okpekpe in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria, has been shaken by another brutal attack. On Monday, February 24, 2025, four residents were murdered in cold blood by assailants suspected to be Fulani herdsmen as they made their way to their farms. This incident marks the second such attack within three months, leaving the community in a state of mourning and fear. The previous attack, which occurred in November 2024, saw three prominent farmers ambushed and killed under similar circumstances. These repeated assaults have instilled deep-seated fear among the villagers, deterring them from engaging in their primary occupation of farming. The persistent threat has not only disrupted their livelihoods but also jeopardized food security in the region. Local authorities have expressed grave concern over the escalating violence. Hon. Benedicta Attoh, the Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Area, lamented the deteriorating security situation, stating, "Etsako East is on fire. Killings and kidnappings are taking place daily, and our youths are willing to defend themselves, their families, and their land." She emphasized the urgent need for increased security measures to protect the lives and property of the residents. allafrica.com The traditional ruler of Okpekpe, HRH Peter A. Osigbemeh, has called on both federal and state governments to establish Forest Rangers. He advocates for empowering local vigilante groups and hunters with the necessary security gadgets to enable them to safeguard their forests and defend themselves against further attacks. allafrica.com The Okpekpe community is renowned for hosting the annual Okpekpe Road Race, a 10-kilometer event that attracts participants from across the globe. However, the recent spate of violence threatens the continuity of this cultural and sporting event, which has been a source of pride and economic benefit to the region. In light of these tragic events, the people of Okpekpe earnestly appeal to the Edo State Government and federal authorities to intervene decisively. There is a pressing need for enhanced security measures, including the deployment of military personnel to vulnerable areas, to restore peace and allow residents to return to their farms without fear. The community's resilience is being tested, and immediate action is imperative to prevent further loss of life and ensure the preservation of their way of life. As the nation grapples with these challenges, it is crucial for all stakeholders to collaborate in addressing the root causes of such conflicts. Ensuring justice for the victims and implementing sustainable security solutions will be vital steps toward restoring peace and stability in Okpekpe and other affected communities across Nigeria. |

Its an old building, no upgrade since I moved in 8 years ago pocohantas: |
Just last year , my landlord increased our rents from 400k to 500k, and this year again, he has given us another letter of increment, this time from 500K to 800k. it’s a six flats building located in Egbeda. I don’t know what to do, even after making an appeal. Can we get a lawyer to handle this or should we just take it as fate? I am afraid if we take this, he will increase again next year. |
Honestly, we need to watch it here, fornication is quite different from adultery, fornication, you are sinning against God and adultery you are sinning against God and man, every married has an oath, this oath believe to be sacred and uphold the cultural attributes of the man and woman and also before God, being the one breaking the oath will lead you the a lot of misfortunate, health issues, life issues depending on the culture of the person you are playing with, God may forgive you, but your village people will not, because of the oath which has been recorded before man and God, that which Jah has joined together no man can put wahala, your life is yours, but it’s a generational thing o. As for me, I dey run for married women o, single ladies plenty out there. |
