Ghana is 81 on this year's Transparency International Corruption Perception index, while Nigeria is at 148.
The question to the president is this;
How do you help a nation that is less corrupt than yours fight corruption?
Buhari?

This is Key! I loooooove to read about youth making waves.

social media influencers, bloggers, digital content managers as well as other digital contents enthusiasts.

We need food, water, and shelter. Then electricity and security.

Until these basics are sorted, there will not be technological advancement in Africa.

Technology is driven by innovation, and the latter by study, research, and experience.

None of these ingredients exist in Africa. We must go abroad to learn them,

I pray we return home to practice what we learnt.
You're very correct sir.
I completely agree with you.

I love thread such as this......

But the irony is that you will never see our youth on this informative and educative thread that can change and shape their future, but you see them e-shouting , e-fighting and supporting some old , wicked, corrupt politicians stealing their future away or talking about how some loose people are having sex in the loo on National TV.
May God help us in this nation.

Thanks so much for sharing OP.
Exactly my thoughts.
Thanks for this comment.

""God has blessed no man can curse""

God does not bless any man with money. Money responds to hard work n smart work. That is why we have billionaire Muslims, Hindu, ATRs, Christians, Atheists, Deists Etc.

Oyedepo opened opened church out of the blues, Gathered members and collected tithe n offerings from them and used the money to establish secondary schools, publishing companies, establish new church business branches.

Oga which useless best selling books are u talking about Do u even know what a best seller is
Pls list the books that he sold in the 1970s that were best sellers and made some millions of dollars

Did he build his university in 1979 From which business did he make billions of naira to build a private university.

Mr,let it not be that we are arguing here.Let me give you information.
God does bless people with money and you know that.
Secondly,I know what a best seller is and Bishop Oyedepo has over 50 of them. And if you dont know, know it now,he has sold thousands of copies around the world.
He owns a massive publishing company and the second best university in Nigeria,in addition to the numerous first class secondary schools his ministry owns all over Nigeria.
And off course God is his chief sponsor.
My friend,I'm not trying to convince you,I'm just giving you the facts on ground, you either believe it or not.

If you claim he is using peoples tithes and offerings please kindly back up your claims with the necessary evidence.

God actually does bless people with money among other virtues that is undoubtable.
And yes I know what a best selling book is and like you know but still choose to pretend not know oyedepo has over 50 of them in Nigeria alone along side a massive publishing company.
Now I want you to prove to me that the funds he used to establish these are from members tithes and offerings.

Go to the ends of the earth and preach the gospel...

They did not say go to the ends of the earth to collect tithe.. They did not say go to the ends of the earth and be renting halls even in the market square, they didn't say go to the ends of the earth to buy private jet.

These pastorpreneurs will not go to chibok to preach..
I don't know why this issue of private jet is paining you guys soo much.
You guys are here crying like you were there when they were making very hard sacrifices for the kingdom of God in the 80's and 90's.
Now God has lifted them high and you are here complaining.
Its hard to understand.

Millionaires make their money through one business or the other. Please can u tell me which business oyedepo opened that made millions of dollars for him?
To start with,Oyedepo is a best selling book author who has over fifty best selling books at least in Nigeria and around the world.
He has a publishing company and his ministry brags of the second best university in the country presently.
Finally everything he has is given to him by God and no matter how severely people like you defame him,he will keep getting higher cause who God has blessed no man can curse. As simple as Abc.

I am not a fake man of God who will lie, cheat, cajole n threaten the children of God to give m Money, Its a sin, It is evil and it is same as offline 419 or online 419 fraud.

It's crass stupidity to stay online and assume that people u meet are poor and miserable.

Oyedepo is nothing but a common thief who Preys on citizens of Nigeria because of poverty.

The Jesus he claims that he is following his footsteps never paid armed soldiers to guard him, never used a convoy consisting of fleets of cars, he never bought lands n dtiref them, Jesus simply gave away everything he had to everyone around him each time he had anything.

Any pastor that is preaching a Christ like life n doesn't share the little he has with his followers 're simply thieves
Where do you get your facts from please?
Last time I checked oyedepo is a millionaire and has helped thousands of people around the world.
Stop spreading false information and unnecessary hate.

Read your Bible then come back and talk sense.

Brother, your first statement didn't have any trace of sense therein that's why I quoted you.
You have no right whatsoever to defame pastor Adeboye,Oyedepo or Chris because you feel they are not doing what you want.
Do you know how many people those guys have helped climbed up around the world??
You shouldn't be getting pained over someone else's success in spreading the Gospel.
Ask questions if you don't know and facts would be provided for you sir.

Our businessmen of today (Adeboye, Oyedepo, Chris O., etc) will never do this.

Some of these present day men of god will condemn Christ for being materially poor saying he has not paid his tithes.

May GOD punish them all!!!
These are the kind of folks who sit in the comfort of their bedrooms and defame Men of God out of chronic ignorance.
Those names you mentioned started working for God in obscurity before God uplifted them and made them big.
Still,do you know the kind of massive things they do behind the scenes to help people?
Have you ever bothered to check?
You just come and starting typing rubbish with out having useful information.

How we can make progress when those kinds of practices keep on thriving?

People,Just imagine this kind of reasoning!
I think this statement highlights one the greatest obstructions hindering Nigeria from reasonable progress. Many Nigerians just like this young man are not ready to work hard to achieve success.
When he graduates now, don't be surprised he might not be able to write a proper application letter. And there are many of his type out there looking for ways to cut corners and get quick results thereby flooding the country with more quacks.
Which way my people?
