Aforxzy: I lost my mum Aug. 2010. She was my everything. She slipped in the bathroom after going for her bath on 16th of July 2010. I heard her cry and rushed to the bathroom to help her. I had to carry her out cos she couldn't move her legs again. We took her to the general hospital. She had stroke from her waist down. I will leave work to go to the hospital to see her everywork day and weekends i was there too. I was her baby. Before then she was a very strong and healthy no ailments. So we were shocked that she had the stroke. We took her to various labs for testing as the general hospitals didnt have enough facilities for testing. Then one day after work i got to the hospital and was told she had gone into shock cos her bp was low and the stupid nurse over dose her with sugar. I cried but she came back and was placed on oxygen. My sister went to ask her how she wants to be buried because we were losing her.. But i kept on praying and fasting that she will come out alive. But one day after work. I went to the hospital and she told me i should let her go. I told her no. She must withness my marriage and see my children cos that has been her prayers for me. All my mum did was to nod. I left the hospital to go back home. Only to receive a call from a close family inquiring about my whereabouts. I told her i was home. Why the questions. She was trying to pass a message but couldn't so i asked her" is she gone. Is my mother dead". She told me yes. I cried i screamed. I couldnt sleep. I wanted the world to end. I woke up the next morning with my eyes red and swollen. I shouted at everyone i was uncontrollable. Even those who came to comfort me. I was too painful to me. She laboured but didnt wait to see me great. She denied herself so much yet... It will be 10 years of her passing unto greater glory. I will always miss her. Iyaami Abeni. Rest on . wow sorry egbon. Iku Iya o da Lara o. Ki olorun te wan si afefe re. |

KingRabota: My wife . She passed on 3 years ago. I have never in my life been with a person so dedicated and committed to me and my cause . She passed away after an unsuccessful surgery . The pain hasn't diminished and the memories are still raw Till now family be pressuring my arse to remarry but in my mind , who's gonna fill her space?
Most of our women aren't really thinking of the long term and only interested in the immediate things they can smash ,grab and vanish away with. If you find someone who really loves you. Never let them go away. True Commitment and love are so rare These days it's almost impossible to find so sorry sir. Please take heart bro |

STENON: Hmmmmm.... It was my Aunt, she died in January 2013... I stayed with her in the hospital all through Christmas and New year after a successful surgery and she was getting better.
On that fateful day, i woke up to the good news that they will be discharging her from hospital the following day, I was so happy and called her children to inform them while also planning to go and make my hair in preparation for school resumption.
She stood up to go to toilet, I followed her and was gisting with her ...all of a sudden, she couldn't move forward nor backward, i looked straight to her eyes and it has turned white , screamed out for help cos I was the one supporting her on stand and she became so heavy. The nurses came around and helped her back to her room. I was there and the nurse checked her pulse and said mum is dead. I couldn't believe till now that she died just like that . this is serious.. Sorry mama. Nawao |

Jokerman: My Dad
Was with him all through. Rode his corpse to the mortuary around 2am when he peacefully went to be with the Lord.
That event made me a better child of God
I remember telling my mom to go home that Dad was resting even when he had given up the ghost. I couldn't cry because she's figure it out, a church brother (God bless him) drove her home to go and prepare clothes for my dad while I was preparing to ride the corpse to the mortuary.. my God!! The strength of God!! The strength of God!
However pained I still am, I'm comforted he's in a better place as 3 days later in the dream he was waiting for me at the front of our house telling me he's resurrected and has seen his wife and siblings... Sometimes we talk in the dream
His wake keep brought about 500 well wishers.
I miss him wow so sorry sir |

Katier00: My Dad though he was 79 at that time but I was only 22 so I knew him for only 22 years. He was our fighter, he stood the gap for us, he never miss the 3am divine mercy. He was the man that taught me selflessness, a man of peace. I was hospitalized four days before his death, he came to visit me and was pained. He cried to God and said, father I will not bury any of my children again, it is my life for hers and four days later he died in his sleep peacefully. He stood in for me. Ten years later it is still painful and tears rolling down my cheeks. Rest on Sir Ben. Your daughter is a grown woman doing well for herself. Till we meet at Jesus' feet

I would have stayed because of you but you left leaving me vulnerable and to my fate. You are one in a million. sorry ma.. Wow |

prettyangel10: My two brothers died within the space of one year. The first one which is our first born died of heart related issues, was with him in the hospital for one month, he was discharged and three months after, he gave up the ghost.
Then our last born, had a dream about him that we were mourning him, I prayed about it, got family members involved in the prayers but three months after, he was having lunch/break time at work, and he choked on the meat in his mouth, rushed to the hospital but was too late.
I've always cried each time I remember the memories of the two of them. cant take them off my mind. Continue to rest in peace my lovely brothers. nawao.. Take heart ma. |
