The truth is that the Catholic bishops are speaking about the current reality in Nigeria.

The truth,.also,.is that Catholic clergymen have been on the receiving end of violence, with many of them among the Nigerians so far kidnapped and killed.

The most unfortunate truth, however, is there Peter Obi is a devout Catholic, and a Knight of the Vatican. There is no way the bishops can prove that this current engagement with the FG is not politically motivated, the truth notwithstanding.

All the above being said, what do sensible Nigerians want? To continue on this same painful trajectory, with no end in sight in the foreseeable future?

Lagos calabar road is not a fixing problem ...its a white elephant project.we dont need a coastal road we cannot afford.we should fix d roads we already hav n if possible build railway tracks to connect d country not some useless road we cannot finish in 20yrs time

When it's completed don't ply the road and if you do, be ready for the consequences

The reason why Southern Politicians are criticizing it is because the amount of money involved in the project is huge.

Lagos-Calabar Coaster Highway: $2.05 Billion US Dollars.
In naira = N2.8 trillion

Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway: $1.47 Billion US Dollars
In naira = N2 trillion

Total cost for the two roads is $3.52 Billion US Dollars.

This amount can fix our healthcare and electricity.

Could you list the names of those Southern politicians. Let's see where all of them are from
