I don't think this minister knows what he's saying.
As the price of oil is going up, the price should be reduced in Nigeria as one of the oil importers as we would have made lots of gain with th increase which can be used to subsidized fuel temporary.
May be price of other good and service may go up |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Never Said That Crashing The Price Of Food Would Make Farmers Poor by helinues: 7:03am On Mar 02 |
DMCY: OP, I said it once and I’ll say it again.
That’s not how to play politics, people are enjoying the massive crash in food stuffs yet your principal doesn’t like that, he wants the farmers to continue HOLDING US to RANSOM with their ridiculous prices, lol. Imagine a Congo of imported rice to be 4500 and our local farmers with their unrefined rice pegged theirs too at 4000, now tell me how it makes sense Abeg!. Abhi you didn’t also buy the rice too? Oyinbo rice were imported o, while our own was made locally and yet the price difference wasn’t even felt, lol. If I were Peter Obi, I would have commended the price of foods coming down but add the clause that FG can do better with the price of other goods and services. That would have been better than his earlier reckless statement claiming the farmers will suffer |
Politics › Re: 2027: ‘stop Politics, Nigerians Are Dying’ – Peter Obi by helinues: 7:01am On Mar 02 |
saintopus: But you said a drop in food prices is making farmers poorer in Peter Obi opinion, food prices should be very high so the farmers will smile to bank while Nigerians remain poor. His headless supporters have been coming with the twist of that reckless statement. They don't know how to correct each other. I believe someone you want the best for, you should be able to correct them when they made mistakes but that's not in the case of the Obidients. They are both political and tribal blinded https://www.nairaland.com/8627577/peter-obi-never-said-crashing |
