That lyrics was very powerful then and now.

Now, Alternative music genre is just my thing. If you are not naturally gifted, you can't be an alternative artist. That's why their lyrics are always powerful and genuine

@OP.

Mot surprising. Those who are dispassionately objective and well-informed know that Nigeria is arleady benefiting from the brave and visionary reforms of Tinubu and his team.

Reforms now cited as a reference point for others to follow by the world bank and many global top economists and analysts.

The future will be very bright if we endure and sacrifice so that pivotal reforms can bed in properly to achieve desired result of setting Nigeria on course to becoming a developed nation.

Fubara and Wike's acclaimed fight, eventually na those who shook head are paying for it. From the Fubara's side, reasonable number of his commissioners and PA have been sacked. The Rivers state assembly members would be the one to pay from Wike's side.

A strong leader inspires loyalty through vision, not through conversion of critics into choir members, on your mandate chanters

If leadership is simply turning yesterday’s accusers into today’s defenders, that’s not strength, that’s absorption.

And let’s be honest: discussing is not the opposite of arguing. Real leaders answer questions. Followers and supporters like you are the ones who get angry at the questions.
Why hasn't Peter Obi or Atiku joined Apc with coercion.

Abeg make una dey reason this una talk before relaying it on social media

What solutions have you ever provided to issue without blaming and complaining? You in particular is one of the witnesses about my opinion and suggestions on issues on this forum which reasonably are just with reality.

Leaders don't argue, they discuss. Same way we have opened the door for discussion after the 2023 but the usual Nigeria opposition like to be chasing others shadow in the first 3 years after the election hence just talking about E transmission of election results when the election is just a year plus

Wrong talk from Sunday .
3 days don't go by without genocidal fulani herdsMen striking terror and peddling death and kidnapp in kwara state and kogi state, they are deliberately displacing the original inhabitants while tinubu sits aside and does nothing ilorin is gone and more territories are going. Is Sunday in the struggle for his people or is it for his pocket like tinubu because insecurity and wicked impunity from herdsmen is actually getting worse even oba is kidnapped these days therefore the agitation should be more
I still remember it was during Ondo herdsmen crisis precisely that wanted to get Igboho involved which I was against as it would escalate the issue. How many years gone now? Hasn't South West not just moved on from that but already forgotten.

Remember, South South was also affected then, infact some prisoners was released from prison during end sars protest yet they have moved on .
Can same be said about South East?

Same issue, different techniques

Ofunaofu:
helinus, saying N460 to a dollar was subsidized doesn’t erase the fact that the naira moved to over N1,400 to a dollar under Tinubu. You can debate the mechanism all day, but you can’t debate arithmetic. That’s not reform, that’s devaluation aided by thoughtless policies

If Tinubu promises N300 to a dollar like he did and delivers N1,400 to a dollar, Nigerians are allowed to ask questions. That’s not distraction; that’s accountability.

Yes, exchange rate systems can be distorted. But correcting a distortion shouldn’t wipe out over 200% of currency value overnight and then be marketed as progress. Stability after collapse is not the same as strength.

On Dangote Refinery , let’s be honest. It was conceived, financed, and built privately over many years. Its existence exposes decades of policy failure in an oil-producing country importing fuel. That’s structural weakness, not a sudden policy miracle. If anything, it shows private capital succeeding despite government bottlenecks, not because of them.

Like I stated earlier, liquidity is not value. Availability is not prosperity.
You measure economic success by purchasing power, business survival, cost of living, and wage growth not by whether, Banks, BDCs have dollars in stock.

If citizens earn the same but pay triple for food, fuel, school fees, and rent, FX reforms becomes a very expensive headline.

Reform should make people stronger.
If people feel poorer, then celebration is premature.
Like I said above, you are not being sincere.

Which of the past presidents embarked on this kind of of reforms and policies? There are some decisions that president Tinubu has taken that others don't have the confidence of introducing some of the policies which initially might be tough but at the end, make things better

Nigeria problem did not start in 2023, majority of the current problems started before this government.

Something that I discussed about even before the 2023 election

The opposition supporters have as usual traditionally wasted 3 years chasing others shadow, they will soon remember they want to take their country back

I asked one of the popular opposition supporters on this forum to show me the threads he created about the new electoral law not even the e transmission of results before this debate by the Senate. Except if the person will reply me tomorrow

Ofunaofu:
Tony Elumelu is not being objective, he’s being political. Trying to be in the good books of Mr President

A banker of his stature knows better. Liquidity is not value. Availability is not strength. You don’t clap because dollars can now be found at N1,400 after policies helped drag the naira from N460. That’s not progress, that’s currency collapse dressed up as reform.

Celebrating dollar supply after a over 200 percent currency destruction is economic gaslighting. It’s like setting a house on fire and then demanding applause for reducing the smoke.

And let’s be honest: the biggest relief on FX demand from fuel imports came from Dangote Refinery, a private investment, not from government brilliance. Attempting to frame that as policy success is convenient amnesia.

Scarcity may have eased, but the damage is real. The purchasing power wiped out, the businesses crushed, the savings eroded, those don’t disappear because a banker chooses to praise power.

That’s not economic analysis.
You don’t clap because dollars can now be found at N1,400 after policies helped drag the naira from N460. That’s not progress, that’s currency collapse dressed up as reform.
You are the one not being sincere here. The N460 rate you are talking about was subsidized and even apart from that, the rate fluctuating within a year can be from N50-N200. Under this government, a whole year naira to dollar rate difference was less than N30. That's stability with the Naira against Dollars

Celebrating dollar supply after a over 200 percent currency destruction is economic gaslighting. It’s like setting a house on fire and then demanding applause for reducing the smoke.
Why won't we celebrate. What have we been using the dollar to do before that always cause scarcity?

And let’s be honest: the biggest relief on FX demand from fuel imports came from Dangote Refinery, a private investment, not from government brilliance. Attempting to frame that as policy success is convenient amnesia
Without the FG providing conducive environment for business with reforms and policies, the Dangote refinery might have still not function. What delayed his licence for years?

Scarcity may have eased, but the damage is real. The purchasing power wiped out, the businesses crushed, the savings eroded, those don’t disappear because a banker chooses to praise power.
The scarcity and whatever temporary hardship it might have brought, Nigerians are now more conscious with their spendings compared to before.

You can see that I addressed all your concerns above without insulting or attacking, if you guys can stick to that, let's discuss. We want to clear things you have been doubting Thomas about
