Tochitee: I have been using this platform since 2008 and I will tell you that this bot of a thing is done to satisfy the iboes. That's a wrong perception. Can't you see they have not been active like before, the anti spam bot is frustrating them more as they can't express themselves without attacking others |

Seun, returned Nairaland to the people and the fact your were banned shows that your monopoly of vile propaganda has been smashed effectively by 80%

Apart from Peter Obi contesting as VP in 2019, president in 2023, the last local election Peter Obi won in Anambra was when he was a sitting governor. After his tenure, he couldn't win any local election for PDP, same goes for LP and now ADC
That begs the question, what's the political relevancy of Peter Obi in Anambra state. He campaigned for those 2 candidates yet loss |

Cherrybae: See him now jumping to 2023. Why can't you for once accept defeat, take responsibility for your own action / words than shifting goal post always. If shameful get another name, it should be that person. The day I feared the person pass was when he was confident that president Tinubu won't return back to Nigeria when he travelled, his first set of travelling abroad. When president Tinubu returned that same day, he pretended as if it's nothing. I can't even count how many gutter analysis he has made that are not even near reality yet he won't stop talking |

Coalition leaders haven’t even joined ADC officially, Obi is LP, Atiku still “observing,” El-Rufai with SDP, Tambuwal in PDP.
Yet we humbled INEC, security forces & vote-buyers in the by-election.
Imagine the earthquake when the full team unites. Should you be talking again when you said this below. You guys should try and be embracing some shame jare

Penguin2: Because INEC shut down IREV in 2023?
And did you lots not say Obi will not get up to 1million votes in the last election? Was your own prediction right? Irev with bye election? Was that comment meant for me It's actually disgusting for some of you Obidients to be talking about 2023 election been rigged when Peter Obi didn't file any petition regarding election rigging |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Stabilising His Mess – Aisha Yesufu Faults Okonjo-Iweala by helinues: 7:17pm On Aug 17, 2025 |
Godfullsam: The main motive behind the subsidy removal on fuel and floatation of FX was to make more funds available for capital expenditure and projects instead of borrowing.
The big question is, are we still borrowing or not?
If we are still borrowing despite subsidy removal, it means the core purpose of subsidy removal has been defeated. If the likes of USA are still borrowing heavily, who are we to be forming self sufficient? You don't want government to borrow unnecessarily yet still don't want them to increase the tax. How then would you run the government? |

ElSudani: She must make that mental gymnastics in order not to look like a complete lunatic. Imagine Aisha Yusufu faulting the judgement of Okonjo Iweala. At what level was the economy when Tinubu came in? When subsidy could no longer be sustained through borrowing? When the economy was on the cliff about to tip over? Their chronic bitterness about Nigeria's progress is legendary |

Godfullsam: In what way(s) has the economy improved under tinubu?
Let us know so that we can commend him. Have we stopped borrowing? Have we tamed corruption? Have inflation reduced in real life? Inflation only reduced on paper under tinubu. What about security? What about our exchange rate? Tell us why we should commend tinubu with hunger and insecurity. Productive people are the one already feeling the Nigeria economic improvement. If you are not, no amount of explanation can make sense to you |

Penguin2: Labour Party was not on the ballot yesterday and you know this. Stop being mischievous.
Again, one thing I noticed about off cycle elections is that it’s not organic. It’s usually won by the candidate who mobilizes the highest voters to the polling stations. Okay. So ADC and SDP are not also on the ballot? You knew the bye election is not organic yet you claimed ADC would win in Anambra state We bookmarked your comments by saving the screenshot for future purpose. You know up till this moment, you are yet to have a single accurate analysis or support on this forum |

QuinModah: Winning your first away game doesn’t automatically make you a title contender. History don show us plenty teams start strong but fade out. Remember Hull City in 2008/09? Dem win 6 of their first 9 games, even beat Arsenal at the Emirates, but still ended 17th. Same with Leeds in 2020/21 — started brightly, everybody was shouting “dark horses,” yet they barely held mid-table.
Even Chelsea in 2018/19 under Sarri went unbeaten in their first 12 league games, but no trophy came out of it. The Premier League is a marathon, not a sprint. One away win is good for morale, yes — but consistency, squad depth, and mentality over 38 games is what separates champions from pretenders.
So, let’s chill on the “title contender” tag. Which teams are serious between the winners and losers at the beginning of the season |

Poor her. Some of the opposition only need wings so that they can fly properly as a witch.

Arsenal improved at the midfield and also in their marking. They were able to manage the early goal lead |
