WizardOfNG: A Northern President will never restructure Nigeria. The sustenance of their leaders and elite, from politics through religious and cultural involvement, is now inextricaly Linked to them having access to FG cash and ststipendWe must remember they created this rod for their own backs.
Till today, long after Awolowo liberated the Yorubas with free education, how many Northern leaders, to include the malevolently loquacious Atiku, do you see dedicating time and effort to achieving similar? I.e education, as much as possible, for all Northern children and especially the girl-child?
It is like needing oxygen to survive. If you are to do without it then you need options. The North is not giving herself options and seem incapable of ever doing so, to the detriment of the rest of us, so others must move one. For the sake of themselves and generations unborn.
A Southern President can restructure Nigeria and Tinubu is doing so in all but name. The key is to give every region the autonomy to control her own destiny rather than a deliberate effort to harm the fortune of the North.
Why should I tell you not to send my own child to the finest private school just to spare the feelings of my family when we refuse to do what it will take to ever send our child to a similar school? If my offsprings them get left behind, how is that your fault or headache let alone responsibility to fix? Bro, before 2031, you will see some changes in some Northerners way of doing things. They left themselves behind, hence need to catch up by themselves. The only way they can catch up is for them to restructure Nigeria, forget about oil, the vast Land in North alone can host hundreds of companies, job opportunity, economy buoyancy. The insecurity in North, it's not the fault of any of the past Nigeria president and current, it's some northerners who are yet to live behind the past. Most of the attacks on villagers are reprisal attack, back and forth for decades. Do the communities, indigenes involved need to wait for one president to come and help them to resolve their issues with their neighbors? |

The person you are asking questions, I doubt if he or she is truly a Nigerian? He/gets org@sm by posting rubbish online and always supporting the worst individuals in government. I just feel he's trying to payback a Nigerian that broke he/she's heart. For many years he/she has been consistent supporting bad politicians to the detriment of the good people of Nigerians. Restructure, restructure, restructure, the discussion about it is here but you are talking about heart break. You lots only know how to complain but don't have solutions to issues |

Agbegbaorogboye: Ok. Let me engage you maturely since that's what you want First of all, you supported a very popular northern president for 8 years and all through the period it never occurred to you that he is in the best position to restructure (a word which he hated) until he left office.
Now, you support a southern president who has always posed as an apostle of restructuring when he was not in power and then you realise that the best people to restructure is one from the north.
How do you explain this your obvious confusion?
Secondly and more importantly, if the tax bills taught us anything, it is that northerners know how to submerge private interest for group interest. Even the VP was the first person whose state rejected the tax bill and he chaired the gov's meeting where it was rejected. How much more restructuring which is seen as a southern agenda to pauperise the north by the northern establishment. Don't you think it is foolhardy to think there will ever be a northerner who will implement restructuring? Especially the way southerners crave for it? Buhari or Tinubu, even other candidates using restructuring to campaign, I knew it's not something feasible in Nigeria at the moment hence never support it. It's on record on this forum. The southerners are ready for it anytime but do the Northerners do now? The northern presidency in 2031, what campaign slogan would they use to woo.the southern regions? |

Agbegbaorogboye: It is a balablu situation It's on record on this forum that I always talk about restructuring not feasible in Nigeria at the moment. How do you think a southern president would restructure Nigeria without the northerners feeling deliberate marginalized ? Don't do your as usual kick boxing, let's engage maturely |

badaru911: ... North restructure ke,lai lai... Where will their few dominant oligarchy get their vast free money from... They won't do it. That's why they first need to catch up. If we restructure Nigeria now, it would be like double punishment for the reasonable number of the Northerners. The money some of their leaders have been embezzling, they never benefited from it, still want to restructure Nigeria when the development in North is just so low. Borno state as an example is big but empty. Imagine how many big companies can fit in with that vast land |

The rate of governance neglection in North heh, only a Northern president would be the best to restructure Nigeria.
No way a southern president would restructure Nigeria without affecting North biggerly. It would look like deliberate marginalization
Only northern president who must have considered the way forward in making north to catch up with others and perhaps the rest of the world can restructure Nigeria. North is vast but just few areas are developed.
Any serious candidate from north contesting in 2031 should make that his campaign slogan, he would receive reasonable votes from.the south |

Lanre4uonly: Congratulations to Team Delta.
Congratulations to the Government and good people of Ogun State for a successful hosting. They really tried. There was a light off in one of the event, I think that's the only major thing they didn't take care of. The economy of the area where the event took place must have boomed during the 1 week event |

NL refused to cover that event. That's unpatriotic from them.
Team Delta retain their winning. 7th in a row if I am not mistaken. Kudos to them
Ogun state the host state snatched the second position from Bayelsa state on the last day of the event by winning 3 gold

Pdp shouldn't be in rush to put the party together. Let them allow their members to wand around, reasonable number of them would be denied the ticket.
Let them be preparing for 2031 Northern presidency. Southerners wouldn't mind the party as long as the North would be presenting credible candidate |
