WizardOfNG:Ogun state politics is different. If they had the mindset of making the difference, we should have been seeing their hands on ground. Why now do they suddenly remember the state? Let them be governor of the state they have been playing the politics for years. You can see what happened during the Apc primary election involving Osinbajo |
AntiChristian:Unfortunately, outsiders can't understand Ogun state politics.. Outsiders by being outside the state or not knowing how the state politics is being played |
Raregem9000:Did he play Kwara politics? Even when he wasn't partaking in Ogun state politics, he was doing something for his Ogun East people. Can same be said about Yayi and Edun? |
Raregem9000:If Dimeji Bankole would be contesting, he would edge both Yayi and Edun in Apc primary. Ogun state politics is local |
Your kettle can't be calling pot black even though I also have issue with the nonsense from Kwara state |
AntiChristian:I am relaying the sentiments of the people most especially Ogun central and Ogun East who are the majority |
Ddeliverer007:The people who are the real voters are not on social media. I thought you guys should have learned something from the 2023 election.. I remember before the final results was declared, I started my own celebration early so I went to a bar, asked people to take drinks, I told them we just won the Nigeria election, they are foreigners, the person who has been conversant with Nigeria politics online said oh Peter Obi finally won, he was just so popular online. I looked at the guy and smile, told him Peter Obi came 3rd. He couldn't believe it. He was like upon how he was so popular online |
AntiChristian:What's the relevancy of Obasanjo at his ota farm or his house Infront of Afro grams.. No past governors still have relevancy in the state, not Osoba, Daniel or Amosun Yayi can't be destined to be Ogun state governor, if he had that plan long time, he would have been doing something about the development of the state in preparation |
It's an insult on the people of Ogun state for Sen Yayi to say he wants to become the state governor. To start with, Yayi chose to play outside politics initially without considering Ogun state local politics. Yayi represented a constituency in Lagos state for over a decade if I am not mistaken. I actually have no issue with that, but my issue is, if the role of a senator is to oversight the executives, Why was the Lagos- Ibadan expressway way awarded severally without the contractors doing the job? Why was the Sango Ota road awarded severally without the contractors doing the job? Even if Yayi wasn't representing Yewa axis when those contracts was awarded, as a Southern senator, he ought to have monitored the progress of the projects The yewa roads have been in dilapidated situation for only God knows, those who have been representing the area never concerned same as Yayi who used to visit the area once in a while then. Yayi played his full politics in Lagos state without considering of contributing anything to even the Yewa he wants to claim to be from not to talk of Ogun state as a whole. Now that his chances in Lagos state as governor have been diminished, he now thinks Ogun state is the best option after how many years of neglection? |
RichIgboBoy:Who is this? |
WizardOfNG:Both Edun and Yayi should go and sit down somewhere. They shouldn't waste their money and time contesting for Ogun state politics. Both of them have been active in outside politics without considering the Ogun local politics, no base nor any meaningful contributions to the growth of the state They should go back to where they are coming from |
WizardOfNG:Even Osoba can't singlehandedly annoint anyone. The past governors dont command the state, may be their areas |
Raregem9000:You can't compare DA with Yayi or Edun Both Yayi and Edun chose to be playing other places politics while neglecting the politics of Ogun state . Perhaps they realised their ambition to become the governor of where they have been playing their politics is not certain, they now think Ogun is the next option. No.. DA never get involved in Kwara politics |
Raregem9000:Both of them have not been playing the Ogun local politics... So they don't both have the chance of becoming the governor. No need of who will be better than each other |
Raregem9000:You didn't think that through |
Yayi should shun the idea of contesting for Ogun state governor. We are telling him early now As for Edun, if he has not been playing the local politics before, he should also go and sit down |

The opposition have been played politics very early before the election. They ought to be the one receiving the defectors but the situation is other way round. The governors at least under this government have sit tight, they are doing something and they have a good relationship with his Excellency The other arms of the government, legislature and the judiciary, there is a cordial relationship between them and the executives. The stakeholders, they are always carried along about the plans of the government. The next 2 years before the election is for scattering of projects across Nigeria with no distractions. The election would be formality |
Racoon:We don play una real politics in a mature way ![]() |

When would Anambra state start making good news |
ofeco:Funnily, I stumbled on the video just yesterday, wasn't really interested but it started playing. So I watched out of it before doing something else I can't confirm the name of the federal institution but it's based in Anambra according to the video. The lady claimed she was fair by appointing 60% of Anambra indigenes because the institution is in Anambra state. It was a Northerner heading a committee questioning the lady When she was asked to mention how many people appointed from some other southern states, she was so ashamed to call the number out. Some states , zero appointments |
Evaloyal2J:Define derailing Gambia |
