BigIyanga: Typical Naija convo… present your facts .. an example of countries saved by tiny minority rich/powerful people? DID I TELL YOU ANYTHING TO DESERVE THIS? PRESENT AN EVIDENCE I DID |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is The Worst Place On Earth by HellVictorinho7(op): 5:47pm On Mar 16, 2023 |
BigIyanga: Your conclusion reached by emotions not facts. Show me any country where a rich minority saved the poor majority with the poor revolting via ballot, protests, strike and political participation? Feelings are not facts WHAT IS THIS ONE SAYING LIKE THIS? |

BigIyanga: No country has ever been saved by goodwill of the rich. Yes, I stand by my categorization of the masses. Nigerians are united in hardship, poverty, hunger… but too divided along ethnic and religious lines to forge a common front to tackle their problems. Naija elite, rich and powerful aren't divided along tribal and religious lines. BASED ON NEEDLESS GENERALISATION AND COMPARISON |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is The Worst Place On Earth by HellVictorinho7(op): 3:11pm On Mar 16, 2023 |
savcy: With all due respect, you just confirmed what the OP said. If after 23 years of democracy we can only compare with places experiencing war or anarchy, then the poster is right. Nigeria is truly the worst place on earth pretending to be a constitutional democracy. nigeria has many more human and natural resources being under utilised, that guy doesn't consider these things |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is The Worst Place On Earth by HellVictorinho7(op): 3:08pm On Mar 16, 2023 |
BigIyanga: Not really, private rich citizens cant fix roads, build power plants, hospitals, universities .. if it’s not too profitable.
Also, we need structural and legal framework to empower public enterprizes. It’s never the intention of rich to empower the poor. But Naija poor love their oppressors, so the cycle of oppression continues you don't know what i mean by healing the process .why not ask? why generalize about the poor instead? |

BigIyanga: Good luck with that. The rich minority cant help u.. but majority can force them to help if they participate healing the sick process is not charity,it is better. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is The Worst Place On Earth by HellVictorinho7(op): 11:57am On Mar 16, 2023 |
BigIyanga: Not true again. About 95% of Nigerians do not have 500k in their bank account. So majority of Nigerians are poor and by their refusal to participate in the process, they elect oppressors by default. For every 1 rich Naija with N100m in his account, there 10k poor Nigetians around him/her. Only govt policies and institutions can help Naija. participating in a sick process never helps ,let the rich minority do the needful, heal the process. |

SWATMan: Buhari was a former military commander, a state governor, petroleum minister, PTF chairman and head of state. All these credentials did not impact on his leadership style where he failed woefully despite having all this listed experience. Sanwo Olu's "thought "provoking questions are indeed unnecessary that's true |

BigIyanga: Not true per highest voter turnout. This is actually the lowest. Granted there problems luke intimidation, late arrival of materials, rigging etc, I concede that 5m Nigerians disenfranchised and another 5m died, so what happened to the remaining 57m? So INEC double-registered voters by 57m and allowed them to collect PVC 2x? Remember 50% of Naija population is over 100m… so only 25% of registered voters vote. 3 out of 4 registered voters dont vote. those who have the financial ability can always make things change in nigeria |

gidgiddy: The point here is that Nigeria does not work, it has never worked since the white man brought us together
So the choice is there for all, stay together and accept Nigeria how it is and stop complaining, or seek for the disintegration of Nigeria and try something new
For me as an Igbo man, I will not stay in a country that doesnt work, just for the sake of staying together
Im an going to seek my independence, take my destiny in my hands and try something new, for better or worse
The rest of you should feel free to continue with what is left of Nigeria and hope for the best go ahead |

OneTemplate: Maybe but they are full of Nigerians like you and me. The members of our political parties were not raised on a different planet to us. They are the same as us working in a system that cannot engender progress for Nigeria.
If you are so sure Nigerian politician are differently evil and you are virtuous then why not seek to be the change you want?
Are you a card-carrying member of any Party with an eye on an influential office you can use to deliver change in your own capacity?
Sitting on the sideline blaming others will get us nowhere brethren. Besides, if you truly know the problem of Nigeria you will stop blaming Parties and leaders as Benjamin Okaba concludes below when he insist we must dump the 1999 constitution and return to that of 1963.
Regional autonomy is the way out. Fight for it.if every Nigeria demands it then leaders cannot defy us.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/10/1999-constitution-satanic-document-must-set-aside-university-don/amp/ the cost of effecting change is the issue for me,the greater the willingness of the rich to effect change , the greater the chance of the change, i mean those financially rich have a greater chance. |

Sure Nigeria has problems but the bigger problem is that majority of Nigerians, and that may include you, do not feel they must be part of the process that delivers a better Nigeria.
In their opinion, improving. Nigeria has to exclusively be the duty of others. That in itself is a big part of why Nigeria is the way it is. you are wrong , all the political parties are useless, you do not know how i feel. |

Do you know Afghanistan has more resources than Nigeria?
D.R Congo is blessed with huge resources Nigeria can only dream of.
Iraq and Syria are blessed with natural resources.
Go to these countries and enjoy their resources nau?
Who tied your legs to Nigeria? nigeria has more diverse human and natural resources ,in addition, it is very very very hard to travel out of nigeria |

gidgiddy: Now multiply that possibility with over 200 tribes in Nigeria equals over 200 ways to split into inexistence, they will fight till they have to mix again in ways not known to any mathematician, biologist, philosopher, economist, etc at least i know the mixing will spread to other counries because the lands will keep giving the fighters reasons to scatter everywhere ,refugees will sing on the road, peaceful disintegration cannot happen here, b4 the split, blood will still be wasted, during the split ,blood will still be wasted , after split ,not enough space 4 burial will remain. |
