Media mogul Raymond Dokpesi has been formally arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on a six-count charge which includes money laundering.Raymond Dokpesi

Dokpesi, the Chairman of DAAR Communications, owners of African Independent Television, AIT and Raypower, was earlier invited and arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja, over money disbursed by the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

Shortly after he took his plea, Justice Gabriel Kolawole ordered that he be remanded in EFCC custody pending the hearing of his bail application by 12:30pm on Thursday.
The prosecution led by Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN),‎ accused the defendants of receiving, N2.1bn from the office of the National Security Adviser between October 2014 and March 19, 2015 for the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential media campaign in breach of provisions of the Public Procurement Act, Money laundering Act and the EFCC Act.
Justice Kolawole has fixed trial for February 17, 18 and March 2 and 3.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said it seized Indian hemp and some other drugs worth N2.5 million in Zaria, Kaduna State.
The zonal commander of the agency in Zaria, Sunday Azinge, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.
Mr. Azinge said the agency had also arrested 17 suspects including a 70-year-old man in connection with the crime.
He said the intercepted drugs include 96 bags of cannabis valued at N25,000 each and 67 compressed wraps valued at N7,000 each.
He said the seizure and arrest were made by the agency’s drug task force.
“This is a task force established by the Kaduna State government. It comprises both the military, para-military and the police.
“We all work together to achieve one goal – drug-free society.
“We started operation in October and we have recorded a lot of success. As you can see, almost one tonne of cannabis sativa has been seized,” Mr. Azinge said.
According to him, if the intercepted drugs were allowed to go into circulation, they could cause a lot of havoc in the society.

Start projects in life that make you feel good.Start a personal project, totally clean up your house clutter and your car. Work on a new hobby. How can these things help you with overcoming shyness? Simple by working on things that make you feel good produces a natural aphrodisiac that turns you on and which indirectly turns on people around you.

*Reprogram your mental definition of shyness.This goes along the same lines as using daily affirmations or by reading self help books. By changing your perception of shyness instead of having a negative attachment to the word, you will then help re-create your outlook on it.
Learn to take risks.How many times did you just want to go up to someone and tell them how beautiful they were, or how impressed they were. As a daily exercise do this: Each day of the week go up to a total stranger and say something nice. It could be something as innocent as complimenting a pretty girl on her hair or a guy with his shirt. Do not worry about the outcome, do not worry about what they say, just do it!

*Combat your fears of rejections by realizing that everyone gets rejected at one point or another, everyone! Learn not to take rejection personally. Use it as a tool.

*Be honest and up front. Tell people that you are shy up front, be honest with them. You will not believe just how nervous and shy the other person is as well.
