In life, some are made naturally powerful, huge and hefty. While others are made weak, small and feeble.

The interesting part of the creation is that the powerful, huge and hefty men are made to be slave to the weak, small and feeble men.

A new anti-theft feature will make stolen phones less valuable

Google’s latest update to its Android operating system makes your smartphone less desirable—to thieves, that is.

Android 5.1 was rolled out on Monday with a new anti-theft technology called Device Protection, according to Google’s Official Android Blog. The system will keep your stolen or lost phone locked until you sign in with your Google account, even if someone restores your phone to factory settings.

Device Protection will be available on smartphones shipped with Android 5.1, and also the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9.

Other features on Android 5.1 include support for multiple SIM cards and HD voice calling between compatible devices.
beautiful
i have been looking for phone manufacturers to include this protection update on their devices for so long
this is good news
but wait o... thieves will instead of selling the phone, ask you to pay a ransom for it

A friend of mine found himself in a quandary recently
when the girl he planned on marrying confessed to him
that she was a lesbian.
She said she’d been unsuccessfully trying to kick the
habit for years and was introduced to it by her school
mother back in secondary school.
Her honesty is really brave. She wanted the guy to know
about everything and help her kick the habit.
Nairalanders, What do you suggest?
mehn in this kain situation i can't offer any suggestion cos certain things are involved
right now looking from outside the window, i would say the guy should break up the relationship and should not bother going ahead with the marriage
but at the same time, there is nothing (to a certain extent) that love can not conquer
i have been in a relationship where i love the gurl die, and could do anything for her within my power, i am sure if she had mentioned being a lesbian i would have still gone ahead to date her and eventually marry her
so you see, its easier to judge when you are looking in from outside

Jeeez! This op is a pathological liar! The picture he posted here is that of a woman whose bossom was chopped off in Ado-Ekiti early last year. I even posted the pix on my fb page then. Imagine someone who was punished for stealing as claimed by the op walking so calmly and unperturbed! This young woman just walked into the streets on that fateful day and it was wen she got to the old garage area of the town that I saw her. Fresh blood was dripping from the cut and most astonishing was the fact that all questions asked this woman was not answered. She did not utter a single word until she gave up the ghost few hours later in the hospital. I fear pple here o. Plenty of misinformation! Lie!

the violence/jungle justice being performed by Nigerians is as a result of suppressed anger and frustration brought about by a lot of the negative things going on in the Nigerian economy

Thank you for the explanation. The person hasn't sent it. I'm presently with my mom and she cant walk to the bank at the moment. Can I go collect it on her behalf with her national ID card ?
no way
the picture on your moms ID card is it your picture?
do you bear same name with your mom?
if you should go ahead to pick the money which was sent with your moms name, you may be arrested at the bank cos this will be termed a case of stolen identity and attempt to defraud
since the person has not sent it, simply provide the person with your own name and ask the person to send it with your name, after which you can go pick it up with your PVC/drivers license/international passport
alternatively the person can send it to your moms name and then when your mom is chanced she can go pick it up
also, you can tell the person to send it to your moms bank account via www.worldremit.com services, they are also just like western union.

hi. i want to know if i can receive cash through western union on behalf of someone like my mom.
if the sender has already sent the money in your moms name, you won't be able to receive it for her, she will have to get to the bank her self to identify her self and pick up the money
if the sender sent the money in your name for your mom, yes you can receive it
if the sender has already sent the money in your moms name, contact the sender and ask him to contact western union to change the receiver name from your moms name to your own name. since the money i assume is coming to nigeria, western union might refuse to change the information, in that case the sender should call the money back and then resend it fresh with your own information. for best resuts, the sender should go to the western union office where he sent the money from, his/her physical presence would make a lot of positive difference.
Autos › Re: Know The Meaning Of The Numbers On Ur Tyres by henribj(m): 2:03pm On Mar 14, 2015
engrkaz:
Most often times I have wondered the meanings of the various numbers and letters that are usually scripted on the side of tires. I know a lot of you also wonder about it. I did a little research and will explain what they mean.

The numbers on car tire are explained using the letters and numbers printed on the side of the tire. They tell you the tires purpose, the complete dimensions, the total load/weight capacity, speed rating and more. They indicate what we call the Tire code. The code includes the tire size, radial construction, the type of vehicle the tire was made for, speed rating, and PSI inflation rating which indicates the amount of air that should be blown into it. Tire specs also include something called load rating. This is important for hauling or towing a trailer. Read below for a complete tire guide.
Car tire numbers explained
Tires will have something similar like this printed on the side of it: P205/60R16 90H

The first letter means type of tire for certain vehicles.
P = Passenger vehicles tire
T = Truck vehicles tire

The 3 digit number (205) is the Width. This number refers to the tire width in millimeters. It is measured in millimeters from sidewall to sidewall.
The 2 digit number (60) is the Aspect Ratio. It is the ratio of the height of the tire’s cross-section to its width. The number 60 means the height is equal to 60% of the width of the tire.
The letter (R) stands for Radial. This means the layers run radially across the tire.
The number (16) is Wheel Diameter. It is the size of the wheel measured from one end to the other. It tells you the size of the wheel that the tire is intended to fit on.
The next number (90) is the Load Index. Load Index shows the maximum load that the tire can support when inflated properly. You can also find the maximum load on the tire sidewall in both LBS pounds and KG kilograms.

The last letter (H) identifies the Speed Rating. The speed rating tells you the maximum speed capability of a tire. A tire with an H speed rating has a maximum speed capability of 210 kmph.

How to determine your tire speed rating
Here is a chart that will identify your tire speed rating. The last letter on your tire will be one of the letters below:
M = 130 kmph
N =140 kmph = Spare Tires
P = 150 kmph
Q = 160 kmph = Winter Tires
R = 170 kmph = Truck Tires
S = 180 kmph = Cars and Minivans
T = 190 kmph = Cars and Minivans
U = 200 kmph = Sport Performance Cars
V = 240 kmph = High Performance Cars
W = 270 kmph = Ultra High-Performance Cars
Y = 300 kmph = Ultra High-Performance Cars

I hope you find this piece useful, buying the right tire for your vehicles can ensure safety on our roads.
nice, thank you for sharing this.
