kenonze: It may not be medical advice but psychological input and aftermath these doctors are qualified and equipped to offer such advice, and in the event they are not qualified for the psychological or other part, they refer you to a qualified personnel. why am saying this is that, the advice you are asking for, especially with how serious the case is, a lot of peeps on NL are not qualified to give such advice. i said "a lot" and not "all" the rest peeps will just laff over the post and insult you for it |

DickDastardly: It was wrong of him to have done that. But that his wrong action is now ur long life. Cheer up man when you get to the hospital, a better hospital o, HIV test is automatic, they don't require your consent, except where you specifically tell them not to run the test. this is common when you go to the hospital to report certain ailments. |

kenonze: Dear NL, I went to a chemist to explain my health challenges but was referred to see a doctor in a nearby clinic. When I got to the clinic, being my first time ever to visit a normal hospital set up, I was confused with protocol however got to see the doctor and gave him all the answers to the numerous questions he asked. He told me that I should run some test including taking sample from my va.gi.na. I was told to come for the results the next day which I did. Before now, my BF has done some test and insisted I should see a doctor. When I got to the doctor for my results and probably to start up treatment, the doctor was in his office, strangely he stood up and hugged me warmly. I was like could it be because of my new hairdo or makeover? He offered me a seat and raised a topic off the main issue why I came. I wasnt moved until he keep talking as if he wanted to tell me that I failed an exams. Curiosity were all over me untill he finally told me that I have the deadly virus.(HIV) The gum I was chewing just fell off my mouth, I started sweating on my palms and nose. I held the chair firmly for support but was almost dead. He told me that it was for my best interest to know now than later when I might come down with bigger signs and symptoms. I never told him to include HIV test, I can barely eat since then. I have lost weight. I see the doctor as a monster.
Pls advise me on what to do.
Real life story by my good friend in bayelsa Haba nah what is all these? a lot of you guys are abusing the purpose of NL o someone has HIV, which was confirmed by a Doctor, now you come to NL to ask us for advise? which advise wey we wan give wey pass the advise and counselling wey the Doctor go don offer her? Or you wan make we tell her to go run another test? or for her to disbelieve the Doctor?? |

ibiso1986: u can track ur lost phone once the thief inserts a new sim.. It will send the thief number to ur reporting line(the reporting number u set in the app).. From the thief's number, u can find his location and even trigger an alarm wen u get to dat location. Most andriod users don't know about this app this only applies if the thief does not format the phone a lot of mobile security app offers the same feature also norton, bitdefender etc |

Oyindamola4live: My sister told me her state (Texas) was not added to the list of states on worldremit.com I want to ask if she can use other states and still get the money sent to my mom's account ? i don't think that is wise because worldremit might want to verify her contact information. is there no one around you who has valid id card and can receive the western union? someone you absolutely trust? then you and the person can go to the bank together to receive the money. |

shevon: I understand you perfectly, which is why I wrote the following -
@OP: Tiff between a husband and a wife, in whatever form, is very normal but should never get to the level where the husband beats up his wife. That is absolutely unacceptable. Be that as it may, your mum going to beat the childish husband is not the solution. Beg her to go and speak with the guy, subsequent issues between him and his wife should not get to a third ear. I am sure if he hadn't beat your sister, the issue would not have gotten to your mother's hearing. And for your sister, since we don't know the full gist of the financial gbege, there is no way we can advice her as to how to handle such issues, but I believe you are matured enough to handle this one issue since you said it is nothing serious. She should understand that some of us men are just grown babies, she should study her husband and know how to manage him when there are issues in the house such that won't lead to the big baby, sorry... husband beating her. I feel very sorry for her though. 2 years and he is raising his hand on her already. All is well sha.
Big ups to you though. alright, nice one |

there was a time someone mistakenly entered the password for my android phone multiple times and the phone locked, and asked me to input the password for the email account i registered the phone with when i input the password of the email account on the phone it still did not accept it cos the phone data was not on and no way for it to connect to the internet to verify/accept the password i had to contact the phone manufacturer after which they told me how to flash the phone without logging into the phone it would be nice if this new security feature on 5.1 makes it impossible to even flash the phone via computer or any form of hardware reset unless the password associated with the phone is entered; and this option/feature should not be based on the email password because 90% of android users in 9ja data plan is most times switched off so as to conserve megabyte. cos if the 5.1 security feature is based on email password, then does whose data plans are usually switched off will encounter serious problems, if them steal ya phone na to just go buy new one, or if person mistakenly enter your phone lock password for couple of times and the phone lock, na im be say the person wey enter the phone lock pwod go gats go buy new phone for you be that o |
