Technology Market / I Have Some Amount To Buy A Decently Used Hp Probook Or Lenovo Thinkpad by HenriFayol(m): 8:14am On Oct 01, 2016
I really need this laptop for academic use, excel work and some graphical design. I don't have much money to buy a new one.

I really don't know if I can trust online sellers. I had issues with one phone I bought in a similar way sometimes and the guy that was acting nice, bragging about the good state of the product became unfriendly and not helpful. He sold a product that's defective.

Please if you have a shop or a good one I can come verify please let me know . Thank you.

Phones / Re: Emergency Line 911 Works In Nigeria by HenriFayol(m): 10:33pm On May 25, 2016
It's nothing new. The real emergency number is 767 or 112 for Lagos State. When you dial 911 it redirects you to 767 or 122 emergency number of lagos state. It's been like that since 5years back. I hope they render quality and swift response now that it's no longer managed by the previous company.
Business / Re: Entrepreneurship In Nigeria Is A Scam And A Multiplier Of Poverty by HenriFayol(m): 3:10pm On Mar 15, 2016
I understand where the OP is coming from. This article is not to discouraged youths from engaging in small and medium scale businesses.

Government must understand that they lack job creation strategies.

And to say the OP has not profer a solution, but to criticize is not correct. He has rightly said that our research Institute should be well funded among many others.

We might have our diverse opinions but I believe deep down, our interest is the same.
Business / Re: Entrepreneurship In Nigeria Is A Scam And A Multiplier Of Poverty by HenriFayol(m): 12:26pm On Mar 14, 2016
What an average Nigerian youth aims to achieve by learning vocational skill(s) is to earn money to feed and become financially relevant.

I quite agree wit the OP. Entrepreneurship is beyond learning vocational skill - It could be the starting point though. Our government has a bigger role to play if we are to catch up with advanced countries.

Entrepreneurship requires a lot of huge capital investment, which an average billionaire might not be able to handle.

Our government can keep failing us, but my advice to the youth is that they engage in legitimate profitable business and look out for opportunities.

An HR firm can't differentiate between corporate and cooperate and they will expect candidate to be perfect.
If an applicant should make such mistake, am sure that will be the end.

Religion / Re: 8 Amazing facts about salvation you will not hear in many churches. by HenriFayol(m): 4:43pm On Dec 27, 2015
Toks2008:

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.(1 John 2:1)

I am positive you understand the role of an advocate. While we pay cash in the world for an advocate to stand in our place over a dispute or bargain, with christ,we go on our kneels and pray to GOD using his name as an advocate to achieve forgiveness of our sins..That was why he died.

To him be all the Glory,Honor,Power and Majesty forever and ever..AMEN!
please I need an invite to your fellowship. Where please? I just need to keep hearing truth as this.

Op I know how you feel, your story is just like mine, except it's my dad that bothers us about going to church. He literally took out the fun in serving God . I use to be suicidal too. My past posts on nairaland can prove it. All these has changed for me since I found a new church where there's no condemning, but love, pure undiluted love from christ.a place where my spiritual eyes has been opened to see spiritual realities and all the wonderful plans God has for me. The best thing to do right now is pray. Cus prayer changes everything. But you'll have to be equipped effectively for that. Can you drop your number so that I'll contact you? There's a solution for you my dear. Don't give up.
What church do you worship Pls?

Religion / Re: Can Anyone Who Is Spirit Filled Tell Me How To Receive The Gift Of Tongues. by HenriFayol(m): 7:33am On Sep 28, 2015
fairprince:

Please when you speak in tongues, are you supposed to be conscious you are speaking? Are you supposed to just WILL to speak in tongues and then start speaking? I am still waiting to get a few sincere believers who would tell me about their experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It comes and overwhelms you and you just flow.
Please tell me sincerely about your experience: do you force yourself when they ask you to pray in the spirit or do you allow the Spirit to take control of you?
This also bothers me, hope someone really help us here.
Religion / Can Anyone Who Is Spirit Filled Tell Me How To Receive The Gift Of Tongues. by HenriFayol(m): 7:37pm On Sep 26, 2015
I am a Born Again christian. When I see people speak in tongues it feels strange to me, I know I have the holy spirit but I just want to know how to receive the gift. I'm trusting God to burst in tongues someday but I want to be sure if waiting in faith is in line to receive or there is something I need to do.

@henrifayol tanx 4 d response I reli app bt guess the CBT and the Buddy interview re d main interview, jez a ques
The CBT is to test if you have the basic skills like typing, listening, multi tasking, and writing (essay). While the buddy and interview session happens after you pass CBT. Both CBT and Interview are important, u need to pass one to get the other. Just take it one at a time. Be patient and trust God.
