Indirect Primary(Delegates): In this process, the power and right to choose lies with limited or selected few from the party.
Often time, the identity of the selected ones are expected to be secret until at the venue of the election. The power to select lies with PARTY LEADERS AND OTHERS!!!

Indirect Primaries; Only selected delegates( usually past and present serving appointees of the party) vote in the primary as accredited delegates.

problem with the indirect primaries is that a governor can influence the state party delegate list. some are bribed before primaries other a intimidated
