Hello chief...thanks for your responses.
My mechanic eventually changed the actuator, but the check engine light came up after he finished the job.
Car started, the rattle stopped but the check engine.
And I noticed the car laggs a lil while going uphill or about to pick up from a resting position.
I scanned the car today and got a P0016 error code.
What do u think pls?

Go get a mbbs or stay calm/quiet with your bsc eng. Pls.

Not too late to get one(mbbs) bro.
Gather your fellow engineers and make your case in improving your welfare if it's sellable to the appropriate authority. However, you can't equate your bsc with mbbs.

Nothing special in MBBS any engineering graduate with a 2.1 could study medicine successfully.

Because they are Doctors!

I was going through the Nigeria Prison Entry Level for graduate and I noticed that those with M.B.B.S or Doctors are automatically on Level 12 immediately they are recruited.

Other medical courses are giving more preference in Level than others

Considering the years it will take for someone on grade 08 to reach grade 12 in Federal Government Job you will know that it's quite not fair

But what confused me was Almighty Engineering courses were placed on level 08

It's quite disheartening that we that studied Engineering for 5yrs, solved all those mathematics and spent so much are placed with other courses who studied 4yrs on the same entry level which is level 8 in Federal Jobs

Please I need your taking on this

Why is M.B.B.S placed so high and Engineering not given preference?

Or s the vct actuator the sensor-like thing that has a wire fused to it's head?

It looses oil pressure when parked. It will not throw a code.

Could it be the vtc actuator as the car didn't show any check engine light? Asking coz I learnt that the vtc actuator is a sensor like stuff, I located it, just afraid if tampering with it especially when it didn't display a check engine light wch could come up from a bad sensor.

Failed VTC actuator. Replace VTC actuator on intake side.

Pls gazzus, I just got a tokunbo Toyota Corolla 2009 with 75k Milleage....real millage coz I got the car myself from America.
I noticed a clinking/grinding sound on starting the car whenever it is cool or not used for some hours.
The sounds lasts about a few seconds and disappears and does not come up if the car is started again immediately. But when the car rests a lil about 30mins to 1hr, it appears again on starting the car.
What could be the problem pls?

Better concentrate on being a lil more financially stable, and theres really no time that's too late for what you are ready for.

First of all. Congratulations on the birth of your twin babies. I pray they grow to good old age and you will not lack the resources to take good care of them.

I understand the frustration of a woman battling with infertility, however, when the result is achieved some people end up tongue lashing where dey went to seek help, with the medical profession taking a chunk of these wrong choice of words. In this case, she claimed she dashed doctors money.
She could have been honest enough to say she paid for infertility treatment services which unfortunately didn't work out as planned. That doesn't amount to dashing doctors money! I believe the delivery and antenatal were all conducted by a doctor or doctors or in support of the relevant paramedics in the health profession....so she could atleast have also given them some credits too, and not being quick to assert she dashed doctors money in the process of solving her infertility problem. Not all infertility treatment comes out positive at first trial.
Congrats once again, and God bless the kids.
