Politics / Re: Lagos-Kano Passenger & Fuel-Haulage Train Launched by henryiv: 6:13am On Dec 22, 2012
I feel flabagasted when some people raised flimsy issues as touching the duration from Lagos to Kano. What should be of concern is the improvement and sustainability of it. However, Gov. Fashola should be security conscious @ the railway station for intensive search so as to avoid the transportation of Boko Haram to Lagos State. This advice should not be taken for levity. As issue of security is everbody's concern
Politics / Re: Sambo Asks For Extra N9b For New Home by henryiv: 6:54am On Dec 09, 2012
It is appalling that in spite of the persistent pandemic poverty that has ravaged the living standard of the people, the Vice President is calling for about 14 billion to build his residential palace, what an outrageous sum of money! The wilful act of government towards the living standard of its citizens is highly unspeakable, top government officials now abscond funds with impunity thereby creating unsavoury and a cataclysmic situation. The President has proved inept to manage properly the wealth of the country, which is extremely invidious. Corruption has coloured the daily activities of government officials. Am certain about the the view of Fidel Castro,a cuban revolutionary leader that says " no army in the world can stop an idea whose time has come"A day is coming!
Culture / Re: Do You Believe In Gender Equality? If Yes/no, Why? by henryiv: 6:27am On Dec 09, 2012
Gender equality revolves around equal treatment of both sexes. This idea of gender equality is vigorously pushed by feminists, who perceived partriachy as a structure relegating the status of women in politics, sociocultural and economic aspects. The international community has exhorted countries to be gender sensitive so as to be respected in the comity of countries. However,in spite of this, some factors have proved intractable to dismantle the structure of patriarchy,an ideology that places man above woman in all ramifications. These factors are: intellectual justification, male egoism, cultural justification and religion. Untill these factors are tackled properly the idea of gender equality will continued to be a figment of imagination.Be that as it may,it is worthy of mention that the status of women has been considerably elevated as it were prior to 19 century.

Politics / Re: Bode George Wins African Leadership Award by henryiv: 8:33pm On Dec 07, 2012
It is appalling that the corruption in Africa is a disease that has proved intractable. The two associations giving this award are just a road side association perpetrating social vices under the pretext of protecting the African students. The poverty rate in Africa has turned these jungle associations into a commercialized setting, driven by their selfish intrests. These associations will soon give meritorious award to James Ibori,if Bode George could be given a meritoriousleadership award. Africa must be saved from these fraudsters. This is just a reflection of African society!

Politics / Re: Presidential Media Chat On 18th November 2012 by henryiv: 8:12pm On Nov 20, 2012
Mr.President has promised stable electricity supply probably before the middle of next year. it will be falacious to say that it cannot be achieved, however, Nigerians we hold him in a high esteem if his promise could see the light of the day ,bt nt to the extent of supporting him for another term. I reserved my comment on the issue of erratic electricity supply till June,2013

Romance / Re: What Do Nigerian Girls Love The Most? by henryiv: 2:47pm On Oct 27, 2012
Of course if we are to look @ girls nowadays they pay more attension to men all in the interest of welfare and a consistent sex. But thank God for some feminist NGOs that have began to redirect their thinking of dependence to independence, thereby bringing out the real woman in them. And some of our ladies have woke up from the structure of patriarchy to demanding equality of both sexes. Therefore,in this contemporary time girls love to be economically independent coupled with sex, as secondary. kiss
