United States Protests and Government Action Against Buhari
This week, some Nigerians living in the USA had a protest against General Buhari. They were talking about the violence after the elections in 2011, and saying that they are afraid that Buhari will take the rights of Nigerian people if he is President. My friend lives in Virginia USA and she sent me some photos... She covered the peoples faces because they were afraid that they could be attacked by violent supporters of General Buhari

PoliticsRe: 20 PDP Groups Defect To APC In Sokoto by henrysophy: 10:18pm On Feb 01, 2015
The president GEJ is good to go for Nigeria 2015 for our freedom
Dannyset:
Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State on Saturday received over 20 PDP groups who defected to the All ProgressiveS Congress, APC, in Sokoto North and North local government areas of the state.

He told the defectors and other supporters of the party to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) so as to ensure the success of the party’s candidates in the February polls.

He also called for political tolerance and understanding amongst the people of the state to ensure peaceful conduct of the election.

The governor, however, called on leaders of political parties to embark on aggressive political sensitisation to educate the people on the need to ensure political tolerance and understanding, adding that violence and thunggery would be a thing of the past if leaders of various political parties educate their followers on dangers involved in violence.

Wamakko also called on the party’s supporters not to sell their PVC, saying it is the tool needed to ensure the desired political change in the country.

In his remarks, the Spokesman of the defectors, Alhaji Aminu Mainasara, said the APC is the party that would meet the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians, adding that over 20 PDP groups with their supporters defected to the APC to ensure its victory in the February elections.

He also promised to mobilise the people of the state for the victory of the APC and urged those who had yet to collect their permanent voter cards to do so for the overall success of the party in next month’s elections.

PoliticsRe: Who Should I Vote For Apc Or Pdp by henrysophy: 10:23pm On Jan 25, 2015
The best place to vote is PDP, GEJ is out to transform nigeria to a better country, peaceful home. GEJ is young and healthy but at the other side he is too old and not sure he can be able to handle nigeria. PDP for Life
Parasitic:
Hello, I am an eligible voter with valid pvc. I am seriously apolitical same with my family. I have followed the frenzy of political campaigns and having listened to the two major political parties i'm still not convinced on who to vote for. All I see is two parties with similar behaviour and antecedents. Same political actors who only protect or secure their selfish interest else where the platform is not favourable they cross carpet to the other opposition party. The internet is agog with lies, propaganda, campaign of calumny, insults flowing from the two major parties.

Sincerely, I have not decided on who to vote for, likewise members of my immediate family. I have the powers to influence members of my family to vote for either apc or pdp.

Should I go on and exercise my franchise or should I engage in apathy?

someone should convince on which party to vote for at the presidential level. Shalom.

PoliticsRe: Wahala Dey O: “buhari Is Not A Nigerian,” Says Femi Fani-kayode! P by henrysophy: 11:17pm On Jan 23, 2015
This may be true afterall Abacha was also from Niger. Maybe when security around our is improved illegal aliens won't have access to our dear Army. Hence taking power by force through coup ploting. Thank we God we have democracy now so no can take power by force again,
morbeta:
It seems where ever the wind blows we find Femi Fani-Kayode, and this time its clear to every Nigerian that he is doing the bidding of his master President Goodluck Jonathan.

Femi-Fani in an onslaught of verbal attacks has demanded that the presidential candidate Buhari “Withdraw From The Election Now And Report To The Nearest Police Station”.

“Buhari is not a Nigerian citizen, he is from Dogondoutchi Town in Dosso Niger Republic, he must be disqualified for contravening section 28 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is the Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization.

The bigger question is:  Was GEJ even right to appoint Femi Fani to speak for him?

It is arguable with Fani-Kayode’s given appointment if President Jonathan is really interested in fighting corruption.

Fani-Kayode is currently being prosecuted by the EFCC for alleged corruption.

It was claimed that Fani-Kayode stole N19.5 billion of the Aviation Intervention Fund but the courts case was thrown out for lack of evidence.

In 2008, Keyamo filed a bogus 47-count money laundering case on behalf of the Farida Waziri-led EFCC in which he claimed that Chief Fani-Kayode had laundered N200m, this was reduced from N200m to N99 on 40 counts of which 38 were recently thrown out.

“The remaining two counts, which represent N1m each, are to be defended on February 23rd and 24th.”

All this from a man, who only last year declared support for ODUDUWA REPUBLIC which calls for the divide of Nigeria
