Look at Barcelona and their style of play. They lose the ball, they hound you from the front till you're forced to play a long ball which their defenders recycle and their keep-all starts again. Busquets is also a really good ball keeper and can recycle things in midfield, no problem. He also synced well with Xavi and Iniesta.

If you watch Kante play he is not just a runner but very technical with the ball. He is strong, has speed, technical with the ball and can hold the ball very well.

Bousquet can never survive playing for counterattacking team, I can put my money on this. FYI, Kante just scored last week in a ball possession team under Sarri. Bousquet is limited take it from me. You think it’s a co-incodence Bousquet has not been nominated by FIFA or UEFA in team of the season after Barca success in this decade.

I see people that define a player with stat as kids who started watching football post cr7 and Messi era. Stat is fraudulent due to so many things to be put into consideration before comparing two players playing for different club and league, so is number of trophies or trophies won to rate two players considering football is a team sport, not lawn tennis.

Anybody can do that right? or at least many players can do that

Bousquet is overrated. Bousquet can only strive in ball possession team like Barca under pep. It’s not a co incident that Barca are now signing ishun players to cover Bousquet deficiency as DM. Meanwhile Kante can play for any team and tactics. Bousquet is very limited as a player. Kante>>Bousquet.

This is why I am not a fan of stat, it doesn’t tell the whole story about two players in comparison.
