Palmer playing well tofu’s is not a coincidence. Having Lavia at the base help him to play upfront game instead of trying to dictate in previous games.

Obvious take - Lavia is a much better DM than Caicedo. Caicedo is a great CM and a subpar DM. He is always running with ball and vacating that vital space. Lavia will just turn, release ball and drop back in the space, Caicedo must run like mumu

But I told you guys earlier when we bought him that he is not a DM but box to box. You guys termed it “hensbenic take”. Lavia’s lack of fitness is the reason we didn’t compete for the league this season.

You can't use the last 45 mins of the Euro finals to claim Zubimendi/Fabian Ruiz can touch Rodri on their best day. They simply can't. Nobody in soccer can. Rodri is the most complete midfielder in the world today and deserves more respect than he gets from the Real Madrid players.

Now that Lavia is back Palmer should return to RW. Enzo Caceido and Lavia in three man midfield.

Playing Palmer out of position is what Enzo is doing wrong. Yamal and Palmer are similar in playing style; they play from the wing and invert into 10 when necessary but Palmer is being used as a dictating/controlling 10.

overall, salah is a better player. Hazard's best days were at Chelsea. At Madrid, he was useless and barely made one significant contribution. But salah has done it in Chelsea, Roma and Liverpool. In Egypt, he is a god with or without significance
