Godwilling,i will name one of my future child NGOZI so that he/she will attract success and blessings just like you. |
They are pained at the igbos because they have forever lost kwara state to the fulanis and the igallas and igbirras is about to do the same to them in kogi.they should come and negotiate with us the igbos so that we can help them reclaim ilorin, offa e.t.c |
Ewoooo...this one na brutality to OSHIOMOLE.meanwhile,by the grace of God i will name one of my future child NGOZI so that she will attract success and blessings like you. |
IamAtribalist:shatap, the yorubas were mainly christians before the fulanis came and conquered them;they also imposed islam on half of them.the fear of the fulanis made the yorubas to embrace islam. |
Jagaban abi jajaban pls go and sit down, how did you inspire them?,is it with your greedy politics a.k.a godfatherism?,odikwa egwu oo. |
It's no longer news that huge oil and gas deposit have been discovered in anambra east and west l.g.a's respectively,i fore-see the need for anambra born billionaires like ifeanyi uba, obijackson, ibeto to start harnessing this mineral by building gas plant, refinery and even petrol chemical plants,by so doing employment and development will improve in the state. What's your take? |
A step in the right direction.igbos have long over endure the killing of their kiths and kin in all the nooks and crannies of the nation.although some ipob protesters went too far by burning shops, trucks and a mosque, thanks to obiano for making a haste to repair the mosque, but i must commend the ipob protesters for not touching the life of any civilian, this is formal because LIFE IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN MOSQUE,SHOPS AND TRUCKS PUT TOGETHER,i wish the northerners can learn from them. |
Abagworo:let me tell you,in the next 2years,comparing awka with owerri will be like comparing enugu and oshogbo. |
bettercreature:the policemen died when the situation became unbearable,i do not support using of live ammunition at unarmed protesters. |
Idrismusty97:are they not humans? |
Yesterday, there was a great turmoil in the city of onitsha as a result of massive protest by ipob members in order to herald the immediate release of NNAMDI KALU(the director of radio biafra).some many events unfolded during the protest, there were heavy traffic, disorderliness, noise, stampede and shootings by the military and other security operatives.it was gathered that lot of people lots their lives as a result of the sporadic shooting by the military and other security operatives, according to an eye witness,he said more than 9 people were killed in the event as against the 9 reported by newspapers,it was learnt that the non-stop shooting by the military and security operatives triggered some of the protester to start throwing dangerous objects at the military and other security operatives in which some of them were injured and 2 policemen killed, lots of shops were looted, trucks burnt, the onitsha central mosque was partly burnt also, the event that unfolded in the city yesterday was a case of 'SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST'.the lives that were lost yesterday can never,i repeat it can never be regained, the manner at which the military and other security operatives displayed their shouting skills was alarming and they were shooting at the crowds as if life there life has a duplicate.the event got me asking myself, what happened to tear gas, rubber bullets and koboko, because i know in a sane society, the above instruments are used as a medium to disperse crowd, during the pandemonium in egypt and libya some years back,we all saw how their military and other security operatives dispersed the overwhelming crowd by using tear gas and rubber bullets at them, within a twinkling of an eye, they all fled, but in the case of onitsha, the military and other security operatives decided to use lead and cartridge bullets at unarmed civilians protesting,i thinks it's disapproving and informal, every right thinking nigerian knows am saying the utmost truth.although some of the protesters burnt trucks, shops, mosque and also killed some policemen when it was no longer at ease, one thing is certain;LIFE IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN SILVER AND GOLD,THAN TRUCKS AND EVEN THE MOSQUE THAT WAS PARTLY BURNT,A SINGLE LIFE IS BETTER THAN THEM ALL,although am not in support of the uncultured behaviour of the protesters who went burning shops, mosque and trucks. what pains me most was that some of the people that were not part of the protest got hit by stray bullet. It's high time the military and security operatives start carrying out their duties with sanity. Twenty drops of tear gas in different locations in the city of onitsha is capable of dispersing everyone in that city and thus making them uncomfortable to stay, how much more the head bridge alone. With the rate at which the protesters protested yesterday,i don't think using lead and cartridge bullets at them will calm them down. If the military and other security operatives are sane, they would have opted for tear gases instead.thanks cc.lalastical. |
Rochas should go and take some clue from obiano, obian built 3 massive flyovers within a year, rochas is still struggling with the ones handed to him by previous administration, for almost 5 years of his tenure nothing to show for the flyover whereas that of anambra is 90% completed.op you should be ashamed posting pictures of a flyover that's still under construction for almost 9 years now, what a shame. |
Why didn't you people report it long ago,why now that the deeds have been done. |
Last time i checked, ebonyi was far more sustainable than osun state. |
The political anarchy in the western part of nigeria by awolowo, akintola and co. brought about the coup, the coup was initiated by three majors;they are maj.emmanuel ifeajuna, maj.ademoyega adewale and maj.chukwuma nzeogwu. |
Buruntai abi burutanshi have been silent for some time,i don't know if i'm the only one observing that. |
This is the state once acclaimed to be richer than the whole 5 south east states put together;what a life. |
Op,owerri is far better than asaba both in terms of roads, liveliness, economy e.t.c,owerri has more estates than asaba and owerri is also ahead of asaba in terms of development.owerri is also larger than uyo and more lively than it,the only thing uyo is ahead over owerri is road network.enugu is far better than them all. |
Wetin dey worry dix people,we no go hear word for una again?,kogi at a time una go carry time oo. |
Truely, anambra is the light of the nation |
gocac:this is the appropriate time because nigerians are calling for her head especially oshiomole and obj |

meezynetwork:my bro pls don't say what you don't know,ogba/egbema/ndoni l.g.a of rivers state is the highest crude oil producing l.g.a in nigeria with over 250,000 barrels per day,yet most of it's wells are onshore. |
Why is tinubu a.k.a jagaban of the yorubas silent over this issue |
I would like the state government to manage it instead of waiting for fg. |
kodded:thanks for posting the link. |
Stop deceiving yourself,do you think we have forgotten what you did to the yorubas in 1993?,we igbos can't be that cheap. |
garyaustin:i think you are not far from the truth. |
adaweezy:you are talking about iga oilfield in uzo uwani l.g.a of enugu, this one i'm talking about is in nsukka l.g.a,try google search and you find more details about it. |
cleatoris:this is a serious thread,so don't derail it please. |
I think that Yoruba culture eschew extremism. My dealings over the years with them show a people who have zero problem with religious differences. The average Yoruba person has no problem going to church on Sunday, then on Friday he goes to the Mosque and then maybe later in the week he pays a visit to Ifa. I heard somewhere that they even have a saying that means that 'no religion has a monopoly on God.' Igbos and Hausas on the other hand are religious extremists.
