The president has the powers to appoint his ministers, so he has the discretion to ask for declaration of assets before he norminates them.
Nobody said declaration of assets by ministers would stop corruption, but at least it is an attempt at exposing it. What steps did your mentor GEJ take at reducing corruption by his ministers? To Buhari stealing of public money is corruption.
