Why Nigerians in the UK hardly give out there money when they visit home, Now don't get me wrong i am not saying they are father Christmas but compare them to other Nigerians in other western countries,most people complain most about the ones in UK,even if they have to send money to there parents the highest they will send is 100 pounds in most cases they send home 50 pounds, Today a friend ask me to drive him to the bank (Oceanic Bank) to pick up the money his elder brother sent to him via western union and i ask him how much he said 10 Pounds,i ask whats the money for he said for a text book he needs to buy,i said na wa for your brother he no even fit join small money say make you take am buy biscuit (Jokingly) he said he is use to it and in fact he has been begging him for this money for over 2 weeks now before he eventually send it today,so my question is why are UK people hardly give out there money is there anything behind this ?, I know Nigerians in the UK will abuse me for this Topic but i don't care i know there will be someone out there who will explain why to me,

Hello Nairalanders,there has been an argument between me and my elder uncle that lives abroad,we were talking online and i told him to hang on i want to warm up my car before going out and he told me why would i warm up a car before driving it,says warming up a car before driving kills engine is that true please respond.

I was once a student in Malaysia but had to come back home because of there bad weather,food and high rate of racist,i got back home last year (April 2008) and applied for a student visa to UK,to my surprise i was refused entry and reason was that i did not proof to them i was a real student when i was in Malaysia except for my visa page and my sponsor in UK did not proof she owns her accommodation nor ask for an approval letter from her landlord (She owns the house) and ask me to appeal if i can provide the necessary documents regarding there refusal,i provide my school acceptance and admission letter in Malaysia,Immigration Letter for visa approval,My school and Library ID card,my flight ticket from lagos to Kuala Lumpur,even up to the pictures i took with my class mates and lecturers,my sponsor er provide her house documents and i mail the tribunal everything,few weeks later i receive a letter from them telling me they got my appeal documents and will be  treated shortly,soon after i got another letter of my appeal date (February 2009) then my appeal date come to past,i called them to ask about the outcome and they told me to be patient and i waited for another 1 month.i called again and told ask me not to call until i hear from them, i didn't hear from them for good 3 months and i was force to call again today and to my surprise they told me my appeal was allowed back since February and my embassy should have call me to come get my visa, so my main question is why haven't the embassy call me to come get my visa since February,do i need to go down to the embassy or just keep waiting for there call,please advice me,thank you

Hello everyone,i will like to ask if putting on a shoe is more comfortable than ordinary foot driving,as for me i am use to foot driving,i have tried many times to drive with my shoes but find it very difficult cos i am not use to it but i think putting on a shoe will be best,especially when i am on a boot wear i find it very stressful when ever i want to come down from the car will have to keep putting it on and off every time and its very stressful,what do you think
