They also get a housing allowance of over a million naira. There's a subsistence allowance of close to 600k. There's also a small dressing allowance and more. I'm sure of my figures. At level 10 you can average 6 mil anually. And I never said FIRS was top 5. I know there are more lucrative places to work.

firstly, I will want you to know that FIRS is a very good place to work but not as juicy as u think. NNPC , DPR, PPPRA and All Oil related agencies, NIMASA, NDIC, NPA, PENCOM pay far better than FIRS. after your basic salary at FIRS, u only get quarterly allowances, KPI( Key Performance Indicator bonuses) and the 13th month salary. Nothing else again except u become a State Monitor/Tax Controller of a branch that u might be receiving gifts/bribes in cash and in kind from different companies. Take it or leave it. I know many staff of FIRS that applied for NNPC 2019 Recruitment and I know few that are seeking placement in other juicy agencies.... No doubt FIRS is a good place to work and it will be among A-10 Agencies to work for but not among A-5.

In typical fashion, this Court has once again placed form before substance. The spirit of our constitution calls for a separation of the arms of government. That as I understand it, is the rationale for executive order 10. Surely the court could have fashioned a means to salvage the order. This is an opportunity that state judiciaries and legislature will not have again. What a loss!

Okay, I didn't know the FIRS scale commences at 10 and climaxes at 1.

However, I have only spoken about what I have seen with eyes, which is my friends payslips on grade level 9. My friend was appointed in 2018. Perhaps the salaries may have changed between 2012 and now. I don't know. Perhaps your brother took a loan or was on a savings scheme of some sort, making 209k his net income. I don't know.

What I am sure of, is that 286k is the gross monthly salary for grade level 9 (not including allowances).

if you say level 8 is the entry level for the graduates at FIRS, then it means all what u have said regards salary and allowances is based on assumption and cannot hold water. My brother got an appointment with FIRS in 2012 with slot from Bukola Saraki... He started with level 8 ( Assistant Manager, Tax) cz he already had an ICAN result then. His salary at the time of appointment was 209k... mind you at FIRS, the entry for graduates is level 10 ( Tax Officer 2) then promotion to level 9 (Tax Officer 1) then promotion to level 8 (Asst Manager Tax) that is how it goes till level One which is the highest level.

Because I know for a fact NIMASA pays more. I don't know about CBN.

Okay. My friend is a masters holder sha. He is currently on level 9. I know level 8 is the entry level for graduates.

Salary plus allowances would be 7,432,000 per annum at grade level 9. That's an average of over 600k per month in both salary and allowances.
