My friend you are just making noise. The most important thing is that things are being put in place now than before. You count one before you count two so go and deal with your silly feelings.

What offensive word has he said to warrant such hash and base less comment from you.

People like you lack proper home/up-bringing; which you just showed! You mean, you can't make a simple point without sounding silly your self?

I would rather advice, we all expect the worse, and hope for the best; just to avoid the sudden occurrence/manifestation of hidden High Blood Pressure in the body!

That said, after all, its an 11/11 men game, which a winner and a loser will surely emerge.
Food / Garri Price Shoots Up – Survey by herostarlingy: 5:52am On Jan 08, 2013
Few days after the Christmas and New Year festivities, the price of `garri', a staple food, has shut up in Asaba, the Delta capital and environs.

A survey by NAN, weekend, showed that the price of a paint bucketful of the commodity had risen to N400 from the N300. Similarly, a cup of the commodity now sells at N50 as against N30 at last week.

Mrs Preye Obuseh, a garri dealer at Ogbeogonogo Market in Asaba, attributed the price increase to the scarcity of cassava occasioned by the recent flood disaster in parts of the state.

According to her, most farms were destroyed and that has made the supply of garri far below its demand. However, other food items maintained the Yuletide period prices in the area.

For instance, the price of a 50-kg bag of "Mama Gold" brand of rice remained at N10,700 while Stallion and Mama Africa brands still sold at N9,700 and N9,300, respectively.

Similarly, the price of other brands, including Union, People's Choice, African King, Tomato King, Red Eagle and Crystal, maintained their Christmas season prices.

Also the prices of all types and sizes of palm oil and vegetable oil also remained stable at the Yuletide season's prices. Miss Chinyere Adishi, a rice dealer and some dealers in oil in the market, said that the prices of rice and oil had remained stable, because market activities had yet to pick up.

"You know that we are still selling what we bought for the Christmas and New Year and that is why the prices have not changed.

"Besides, people have spent much money stocking some of the items and it will take a while before they will return to the market to raise demand for the commodities," Adishi explained.

Health / Re: My Pre-eclampsia Story. by herostarlingy: 8:38pm On Dec 05, 2012
Sorry for your loss. Had similar issue sometimes around June this year. This is a situation I pray no one go through; the amount of psychological imbalance, anxiety, sleepless nights, the running around and so fort one goes through only to loss the baby at the end! It is indeed painful.

For those with normal delivery, you never knew what the good Lord has done for you, till you begin to hear stories of happenings in these hospitals at child delivery. In my case, work and business was out of it, as I suddenly became the driver for all the ante-natal, and pregnancy/baby delivery schedules. we loss the baby boy at delivery point, and till today, I still feel and sees his gentle and sweet face.

I trust, the Lord will replenish with a double portion soon.

Politics / Re: House Summons Anenih To Account For Abandoned Road Project by herostarlingy: 11:05am On Nov 27, 2012
...judging from history, I don't really see anything meaningful coming out of this.
That said; I think it's high time, we the messes of this Country took the destiny and future of our unborn generation(s) into our hands.

Only a fool will expect any miracle from our present leader(s), nor PDP. for we have been fooled, molested, degraded and cheated for long; but for how long shall this deceit continue? It depends on our collective effort to say Enough is Enough!! Enough of the shearing of our collective wealth by a greedy few; Enough of the "selective justice" system; Enough of being used during electioneering periods and flaunting these stolen wealth right before us.

For it is obvious our political leaders have failed us, same can be said of our religious leaders (who happens to be the only hope for the masses), whom's only goal is to pile up wealth and accumulate private jets for themselves here on Earth.

We might be powerless individually, but with our collective voice and revolt, we will certainly create that change which we all DESIRED!! For it worked in Libya, Egypt and A few other Countries , all with lesser population, WHY NOT NIGERIA, the giant of Africa? It's time to hold our leaders accountable. ...REVOLUTION IS AROUND!!!

ifyalways: Do you have any money in lagos with which you intend to start your importation business now?

Has your wife ever complained or hinted that she's unhappy with your absence?

What's her "medical situation" ?

Depending on your wife's "patience, tolerance level" , and your personal "man ego level", it would be a good idea to go back to lagos, stay with your wife and scout for another job.

You are not earning any money in bayelsa right now so why stay there ?

I import goods from China presently, which I supply to marketers too.

I'm Starling (from the Eastern part, Nigeria) and got married sometimes in August 2011, after my masters in the United Kingdom. I was based in Manchester, but my fiancé (Now wife works and base in Lagos and was pregnant three weeks after our honeymoon in the United Kingdom.

For her: She works as a Human Resource Person in one of those reputed Real Estate Firms in Lagos (Ajah to be precise) and currently on a monthly salary N 280,000.00.; a three bed apartment in Lakki; and three official cars, which two are brand new and now in her name. (I am giving this information to allow for a critical and better advice from NLanders).

Like I said earlier, she was pregnant for our baby after the honeymoon- but we loss the child at delivery sometimes this year.
My wife, (my guardian Angel, I call her), I must confess has been the happiest thing that has ever happened to me in many years now. She is so humble, understanding, careering, polite and of all, God fearing. She has been my back born, wife, sister and of all, my best friend)

Me: During my Masters days in the United Kingdom, I do import electronic products (LCD, Plasma TV, and Home Theatre) from the UK and the United States to Nigeria for sale, while its proceeds it sent back to me the United Kingdom. You can say I was self employed and also a salary earner in the United Kingdom. In every aspect of life, we face challenges, and such business, you can never rule that out too. My business suffered a setback in 2011 ending when my goods were stolen at the Lagos Apapa Wharf (point of clearing) - with the connival of a new agent I started using; but that I have rested in the hands of God.

With the hash economic satiation in the United Kingdom, coupled with the fact that I was expecting my first child, I relocated to Nigeria early this year, and since then, I have managed to gather some funds and engaged in a little importation business from China.

The Main Issue: Two months after the loss our baby, I relocated to Bayelsa State to resume a new job in an Oil Servicing Company (though, I got the job two months before the delivery period of our baby, but have to shift it to witness the arrival of our little boy).

As I type this post, its three months down the line with my present company (on a salary of N150, 000.00) even my first month salary is not complete yet, and the probability of it being paid any time soon is below 40 percent.

This is where I seek the advice of matured people in the house.

Should I leave this job and return to Lagos to be with my wife (who is presently undergoing certain medical issues/complications as a result of the last pregnancy), since I have the intention to continue on my importation business, or should I remain here to sort for another job?

NB: We are both 32 and 28 years respectively. And please pardon my typo error(s), as I'm busy and have to hurriedly type to seek for advice.
I patiently wait for your advice. Thanks
