Nairaland General › Discussion: "Root Cause Of Nigeria's Problem, And Lasting Panacea" by Heterodox(op): 6:48pm On May 17, 2016 |
Discussing with elders and people of higher intelligence is my hubby as a person. And most time like today, people do hold discussion on topics that varies and cut across fields of interest in our joint. And today I was just lucky to be present in a joint where the topic of discussion was centered on an interesting topic (that was what it was to me) I suppose, should interest well meaning Nigerians, and most importantly, Nairalanders.
The topic, paraphrased, was, "What exactly, in your opinion, is the root cause, the source of the intricate webs of problems in Nigeria which, if solved, could get us to see a Nigeria of our dream"
Of course each and everyone present did opined, from which I gained more knowledge about the intricacy of Nigeria's problem.
Though to say I personally opined illiteracy as the root problem of Nigeria and education a lasting panacea to this problem.
But as expected, your view might be different perhaps, strange. But it might just be the exact solution to the multi-linked problem our dear nation is currently facing.
So, Lalasticlala and Seun can do justice to this thread. This might just be the one among many things Nairaland would be doing right since inception. |

otukpo: This govt is fraud.
Kachukwu said oil sector has been deregulated. that means fuel subsidy has been removed.
Osinbajo on the other hand said that fuel subsidy has not been removed, that it was only the prize of fuel that was increased.
That means even when we are buying fuel at a prize higher than market prize, the govt will still defraud Nigerians in trillions of dollars in the name of integrity.
So much for a govt that claims to be fighting corruption. Nice line of thoughts |

Christianity Etc › The Blemishes In The Christian Faith—part I by Heterodox(op): 9:02am On May 15, 2016 |
The Christian faith in no doubt is one of the, if not the leading faith in our planet earth today. And if one should be sincere, much of their beliefs are in harmony with most civil laws in many nations. But like every other religions, the ultimate purpose, as known, is not really its contribution to the society it dominates, instead, it is much about the seeming belief on subjects that relates to gaining immortality. And the Christian faith as one, holds its beliefs on these varying subjects which, perfect as it seemed, when examined with cutlery of its very objects, have on it weaklings and blemishes which, on its own, puts in question the validity of it as the way to immortality.
But due to the verse subjects of beliefs, this writer has decided to break this write up into parts, so as to give rooms for readers to air their own view concerning the analyzed subject of belief.
Note, this writer is a worshipper of Elohim, the Jewish God. And he is, in no term, interested in denigrating the Christian faith with this write up, but instead, aims to put the professors of the Christian faith in a just position of examining their professed faith to see for themselves if indeed, they are indeed, on the same path with the Truth of gaining immortality. |
