Rampantly spreading teaching among pentecostals one will acknowledge is the People-In-Hell story. While it is well welcomed, and served a better tool in mind control, constraint worship and unreasonable fear as against free will, generous worship and reasonable love for God every godly teaching should propagate, it quite as well lacks some scriptural support and what I call commonsensical, which I belief is the bedrock of every argument.

Two basic basis of argument that debase the People-In-Hell teaching as just another bed time story will be logically and scripturally pursued below.

1. The Argument Of Death: Death defined is the indefinite separation of the spirit from the body. Explained, it is an end for a new beginning.

Quite so much is giving to death as the pendulum of faith and victory preached readily swing around it. But apart from being a pendulum, it serves a basis of argument to disprove and approve every teaching being propagated in the name of God.

Quite in the beginning, God rightly made man as an hermaphrodite and bestowed upon him some sumptuous majesty. While this is commendable what we need in the creation story is the morphological and metaphysical composition of man.

God breath into man and man became a living soul. Quite apparent from this is, man is a soul at creation which readily possesses a soul but this soul is a dead one. In the process of impacting life he became a living soul made possible by the evidence of the breathe shared, which many believed to be the spirit of life. Understanding he initially has a body before all these.

So, here is the argument. The PIH (People In Hell) teachers believe and teach that, when a man dies, his spirit and soul so to say either go to hell or navigate to heaven. Quite alright. But here come the questions.

First thing understood from creation is this, the soul and spirit are two entirely different entity. The soul stays in the body while the spirit comes from God. Clearly they are dependent to make anything called life. So, if the PIH say the spirit goes to hell or heaven at death I believe King Solomon will quite disagree with that, the spirit returns to where it belongs, to God (Eccl. 3: 19-21). Aside, the spirit on it's own cannot be called a being, it cannot take punishment nor acknowledge pleasure.

If they say it's the soul that goes to hell or navigate to heaven. It is imperative to understand that the soul is a compartment in the body. This serves to mean that, wherever the body goes the soul follows. And clear enough, the body returns to be a dust at death. This means, the soul is right there in that dust that particular man becomes. A soul without the spirit is a phone without a battery, dead and non functional.

Lastly, if they say both the soul and spirit leaves the body to choose between the two options readily available hell, it will be unscriptural as well illogical. Clearly explained, each part returned to where it comes from. The soul which is readily part of the body returns back to the dust which it was made from, the spirit in turns to God where it comes from. Their journey together at death is a physiological impossibility. It violates nature and cycle of continuity not to say common sense.

The hell theory strongly proposes a place of punishment. And clearly enough, only a living soul can experience pain, which doesn't come to play until the spirit of life registers itself. So for punishment or pleasure to be experienced, the body which is the soul and the flesh must be giving life by the spirit, that is the three entity must unite to be a trinity. In other words, at death there is no going to hell or heaven. The mechanism to experience this is readily absent. At death, every man stays in his grave till the unification comes into being which said can be only made possible by the power of resurrection. This leads us to the second basis of argument. The argument of resurrection. This we will treat next week by the grace of YAHWEH. For now, the floor is open for discussion.
