Have you verify your BVN with the app? If you haven't done so, click on the settings icon on the top right -> edit profile -> security (is at the right top) -> BVN

my money was deducted from my account but it wasn't reflecting in my barter
And I couldn't create a virtual dollar card

Ok. Just speak with their customer care. They would trace the transaction and topup your balance for you. My experience with them has been good.

Even most of the recent reviews are full of complaints!

Think I would have to look past barter for my solution

What do you mean by normal account? When I used it, everything went fine. Just topup your balance and click on create new card. The amount for the USD card would be deducted from your barter balance. I don't see any issues there.

The normal account is the one u say I should top up

The flutterwave exchange rate is the same across the board. But with flutterwave merchant, the charges are less and you have more controls.

You can create virtual cards for your teams and control their spending limit and what sites they can use the card.

Creating a virtual card is instant. You have to topup your balance to start creating virtual cards.

Just tried creating just now, not a nice experience at all
Barter deducted my money for normal account and it's not reflecting,and I'm being texted it would take 3-15days before refunding

Also the dollar card wasn't created!!

Open an account with Wallet.NG or Barter by Flutterwave.

You can get them on Playstore. Then you use the card issued to you on either platforms to do whatever you want.

Playstore doesn't accept Nigeria card nor 9pay. Your best option is to use barter by flutterwave virtual dollar card which cost $2 to own @ ₦505/$

Register
Fund your wallet
Create a virtual card
Fund the card
Then use it for your international and local transactions, it's a visa card, i personally don't use a physical card myself.

Sorry I just saw this. Do everything on the app. Download the barter app, your batter balance will be either displayed in usd or naira. It does not matter. When you click on visa cards and click fund your card, it will automatically calculate it for you. Hope I make sense

You do not need to link visa card to paypal. Use it directly

I've not had any negative issues with barter. Their customer care is okay and their exchange rate isn't bad. I used it late last year for a transaction on playstore. But I've since moved to the main flutterwave with a merchant account.

Barter is currently around 505 to a dollar

How much is the flutterwave rate?,and how soon can 1 get and use the virtual card

Why not use barter by flutterwave? You can create a virtual dollar card with just $2 in fees. The dollar card can be used on many websites (not sure if it would work on upwork).

But If you have a registered business, you'll be able to create a U.S. dollar card that works on all websites. You'll be charged just $0.5 in fees.

I'm a verified flutterwave merchant and can help you create a virtual debit card if you cannot do it yourself.

From customer care issue to not being able to withdraw and also the very high rate!
So there is scepticism on my part. When last did you use your barter dollar card for a transaction?
