Can a Yoruba get a job in Borno though with the NGO? I've been trying for over a year and had no luck whatsoever. Despite the situation, would not mind living/working in NE. Plus it's on my bucket list to learn the Hausa language.

These NGO jobs require NGO work experience and one of the ways to get this experience is to have intern/volunteer experience and use the intern/volunteer experience to get in.When they(NGOs)do advertise for job openings the interns/volunteers have the advantage or the chance of been considered and offered the job.The thing about the intern/volunteers is that in most cases there is no remuneration.

Though this all still boils down to networking,connections and timing

I am presently working with INGO in NE... I joined the organization as intern and I was offered Offer position less than 6 months....what you need to get this job is experience not qualifications...
keep on trying, there is not crime in that. God will bless our hustle one day..
