Better for them. Useless government criminals. They mount road blocks just to extort motorists. Most of them working in the east are posted from northern and western Nigeria. Criminals.
Since the govt is so useless, maybe the police should just withdraw their service in those states too.

Yes but still normal 20% when you earn above £1k
Like for instance all the three hustle, it's just 20% I get from tax on each.
Yes that's the standard tax system in UK. Many don't understand the tax system and will discourage people working more than one job.

It's well o. Me on PSW doing 3 care jobs. One full time, one part time and last bank .
Atleast I can save upto £2000 monthly after tax and bills. Till next year before I focus on getting sponsorship. This PSW is good to hustle with.
Do they tax people on PSW? I know they don't tax students during the period of their studies.

bros this guys and his likes comes to this page to complain virtually everytime about what people are facing in UK which I believe is none of his business. Life is not a bed of roses, same way few are complaining many are excelling. My point is if at all he want to advice people not to come to UK, it should be on another page not on this page that people comes to seek advice on how to process their admissions. As much I know he's a nobody to other people on this platform and doesn't have any reason to influence whatever decisions they decide to take with their money. You're there doing well and yet you're discouraging others not to come, is that not witchcraft. So far you're going to UK on studies even if you're not able to pay your school fees, there are still other ways to extend your stay either through marriage or other. Until you get there, that's only when you can explore other options. I have a friend that failed his masters and the only way he's been able to remain was through marriage. Nigeria is hell on it's own but here you're coming here every day to discourage others not to come. The next time you come here to discourage people I pray ogun strike you and your family put together
Marriage ke? Do u know how much they pay for contracted marriage that's even they one gets lucky to see one?
Someone that couldn't balance tuition will now afford the marriage contract?
Me I dey silent on UK immigration issue sha, nothing concerns me for whoever wants to go but the marriage plan B way out might be misleading.

Tinubu has finished this country oo.

I saw this at Oja Oba!

They now have to break yam it into pieces for it to be affordable to them.

This is what the likes of Toyin Abraham is using to catch cruise? Saying it’s her choice? Instead of apologizing to Nigerians who she misled to vote for this unbelievably reckless government, she’s there threatening people.

Do you know what it means for people to be so poor to the extent of not being able to afford one tuber of yam?

Nigerians are literally dying but to some people, they want to stick to their “choice” at the expense of the nation.

Just admit that you’re wrong with your choice. Apologies and call out these heartless people you voted for.

GOD BLESS YOU FOR THIS POST !!!! I have 3 people thats crossed to the USA through education route from that UK some people here are screaming about and bad mouthing.
Sebi na person wey finish Masters in UK go think of PhD.
There's no bad mouthing anywhere, the campaign is simply advising people to only come to UK if they have almost all their tuition fee ready.
Abi for all the Nigerian Msc students presently in UK that have been locked out by their schools and given ejection notice by UKVI, are u going to advise them to apply for PhD?
Politics › Re: Soludo Buys Innoson 2024 executive model Suv, This Is Awesome by heykims(m): 10:52am On Jun 04, 2024
Let's be sincere, who in Nigeria can afford brand new cars? Nobody, not even the rich.
Everyone settles for second hand aka Tokunbo.
How many 2024 model cars do u see on Nigerian roads?
So nobody should be berated for not patronising Innoson because that brand is only meant for Governors and Senators.

The honest and bitter truth is UK don cast.
As with other endeavours in life, those who invest early are usual the best of beneficiaries. For UK, those that benefitted from the surge were those that went before 2023.

The 2 main routes by which people emigrate to UK were the Care visa and student visa.
Recent policy has banned both categories from bringing in dependants, so what's the gain?
Many with care visas are even floating in the UK because their COS have been revoked by the Home Office. There's nothing more scarce in UK at present than a care COS even without dependant o.

In fact many students are likely going to return to Nigeria after their 2 years post work study because sponsorships are now strictly consciously regulated.
If u want to go UK with peace of mind now, target other work visas such as health, maybe IT and others. How u go about that, me I no know o.

I wonder how students think of surviving in the UK without dependants, as in how?
Years back, what fueled japa was form A Pound rate that was used to pay tuition fee. Truth is many that traveled to UK then would never try it if there wasn't form A and exchange rate was high as the present.
Personally, I'm a dependant that came in last year with my student wife. I spent little above 5 million naira to pay 9000 pounds deposit of the tuition with form A. I would be looking for over 15 million naira in present day Nigeria to pay the same sum, that's huge and I don't think it would make a wise investment for me. To make it worse, NO DEPENDANT.
Today, people just wanna leave the country and thus many are jumping from frying pan to fire. What could be more depressing and humiliating than being served eviction mail by the UKVI, abi living illegally in the UK after your resident permit is revoked?

If your length of study is 12 months, then your visa will be 16 months. As such, u will pay IHS fee of a year and half.

What if this becomes the best decision you ever made?! There's no need to compare your life with what others are facing.
In Nigeria, some are facing financial difficulty while others are balling.

Have a backup plan. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and understand you can't go through life alone. Don't isolate yourself. Join the right club/association and surround yourself with like-minded people.

See you at the top!

Shalom!
Haa, for an average Nigerian to japa, u have to gather all eggs in a basket even borrow egg join. It is very capital intensive so u gather eggs everywhere, many will even sell the chicken.
Best is to do proper survey before commitment.

I advise we plan the long term. What happens after graduation? How does one get to legally remain back in UK after school?
These are valid questions based on recent UK legislation as regards restrictions of sponsorship.
