Hi all,

Please if a student who is suppose to work 20hours a week is given about 36 hours a week to work but told by the employer that at the end of the month they will make sure he has worked 80 hours a month, is this a breach of his student visa working hours ?

Second question when can a masters student start full time work without breech, is it when the course ends or when class ends and during dissertation

Thank you in advance for your response

Wages are paid on your NI number in UK. What the employer wanrs to do is pay the statutory 20hrs a week on your NI number and pay the remaining through direct bank transfer. That is safe, so no problem.
Your second question, I understand u can work full-time when class ends.

fastseo:
Share me the documents boss let me help you interpret it

Lol, u mean I have a comprehension problem?
I couldn't find the link sha.

Have these Eagle guys ever trained or played together before? Their play is so disjointed.

fastseo:
Not really what I read. They can't chase your dependent when u get COS. Only target new entrants

That's the reality chief, your dependants will have to leave if u get care sponsorship COS after April.

studyless123:
The policy is not retroactive. If you're already in the UK with your family, you're good. If I recall clearly the policy states that you can't allow dependents to travel with you to the UK.

The policy clear states your dependants won't be covered if u get sponsorship after the policy is implemented this April.

ogawisdom:
Can someone come to UK with 6 months visit visa and search for job sponsorship in tech field and stay on . The person has someone in UK to sort out accommodation already

I think u can. I understand nurses are now going through this route as it is increasingly becoming difficult for them to secure sponsorship from Nigeria.

Guys, I have a question please.
I understand the UK has prohibited students on student visa from changing their visa type to work visa.
But can dependants of people on student visa change their own visa if they get sponsorship?

jeslom:
Please guys all those telegram group on instagram selling dollar or pounds with escrow plus giving a lesser price are they legit. Or they just wanna chop my money

Scam Scam
ALL of them are scam, as in 99.9999% are scam.

coachwilcox:
Guys. I need help. I'm looking for a school in the UK who don't require IELTS and tuition isn't too expensive plus the initial deposit is reasonable. This is for masters programme in psychology or social work. Preferably May intake.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check University of Bedfordshire if they offer those courses

I hope guys aspiring to come UK are aware of the new immigration rules that will take off in April.
It makes it very difficult to remain in UK even after your 2yrs post graduate visa as one will need a very high paying job to remain the UK which in reality is not achievable except for a lucky few.
The popular route to remain was the care sponsorship but its regulation is now very stringent and now with a care visa, u can't bring in dependants again once the policy is implemented in April, so the route is a no way for a family oriented individual.
So anyone that gets a care sponsorship after April won't have dependents. It's quite bad that for a student presently in the UK with his dependants, if he gets care visa sponsorship after April, the dependants won't be covered and would need to return back to Nigeria.
Please let's reason am well before we japa o.

October 35k wage award just entered now. I work in FMC.

Biola67:
Dey play.. as far as you’re submitting your application this year. Izz gone

I don't think so because they intentionally stated it affects NEW students starting in January.
Moreso, the new policy to be effected this April about care workers not bringing dependents has been clarified by the home office that it only will affects care workers who get sponsorship after implementation of the policy in April.

Tier4Dependant:
No time

That means students admitted before 2024 can still bring in dependants since it says only new students won't be able to bring them in.
