5pm one very evening/ came back from an early meeting/ rushed to play back yard set in a field..it's been many evenings/ since I balled last..I arrived late but as a skillful player, I was immediately field in/

Was tackled roughly by a senior player I hate/ he couldn't apologize..so,in comes my rage/ saying "omo! Finally here comes thy day/ I'll beat a man about 10years older by age"/

I dragged his Jersey from the back/ to tell him that..why is it that it's fair play he lacks/ I continued to spit words that were "shaking he" like a p.square hit track/ then he be like im temper don dey hot..my niggaz tell am say e no fit boil three yam/

So many put words into his mouth/ like na dis small boi dey follow u shout/ damn,even even for your land..nd u even be tout/ as a sharp guy,I quickly alert dem say I be confirm warri boy from da south/

He pushed me in da chest as Yoruba boiz usually do/ I gave im 2blows in da face like a guy from warri should/ he tried using weapons,I weaved the two/ then I hit him with a footwear till he covers his bleeding eye..the footwear was guessed to b a dancing shoe/ he went to call his guys..cos that's all what he could/

I ran away cos I was strucked with fear/ heard they whipped clueless non-indigens there/ with the aid of thick belts/ so dey could be driven crazy..like ogofure drivers filled with 6beers/

Lmfao when I got home till d extent I dropped lil tears/ heard the pauper spent over 5k on treatment/ on both injuries and illness/ my conscience was like see mess/ but I fought it over saying why wasn't he even dead/

I thought I've increased my fan base/ till my lil bro came back from school 1pm as expected on a Friday/ to tell me dat my ex school son came to school with a bandage/ resulting from da previous rampage/ from those Yoruba ga.ys/ he was called to the assembly to explain nd he mentioned my name/ gosh..I've jes tarnished my clean image in a very bad way/ I cried all through nd promised dat since I want to be d best..I'll never ever "have rage"/

I love AKA and K.O..you need to watch "run jozi" by the duo..they got swag and their flows and delivery are top notch..I love KO cos he mix english with their dialect and his accent is funny and good..in a track L-tido featured him,he was outstanding too.

As for naija acceptance of hiphop,I'm yet to witness that..maybe coogar came across dudes that love the game just as we in here loves the game but majority don't listen to it..but in SA..the live it,they eat it,they embrace it..smh

that is because we don't have many naija rappers doing the hardcore rap - they are all doing it for money. the music corporations in nigeria aren't interested in wordplay & punchlines. they just want music people can dance to & this is why the only rapper(modo) that still keeps it real is very broke!

the audience is there in nigeria. i can easily say there are more than 5 million rap heads in nigeria but the bad économy hinders the growth of rap music in nigeria. this is why i was hoping to sponsor mikuz before only to find out his face looks like ebola & thus lacks the star quality.

this is the second time i am hearing this...
rap music has a big followership in nigeria. when i was in naija, everyone in my area in lagos were obsessed with rap music - and i mean hardcore rap not the bubblegum rappers.

you have a point but the level of acceptance over there in s.a is wonderful. .when south Africans talk about their top ten artist, 99% are rapper, only mafikizolo nd a few can give those rappers a run for their money but here in Nigeria, a top ten artist list will contain non~ rappers and 1 or 2 noise makers commercial so called rapper (olamide)

They got swag and the no of good rappers there is numerous...I've listened to a lot of them from magz,da les,AKA,K.O,L-tido,proverbz, and a whole lotta guys that I can't remember their names...they are all decent!..and rap music is well accepted over there unlike here where I've heard some people saying that they don't listen to rap cos they thaught rappers are just twisting tongues and saying meaningless things...
Over there,you don't need a good chorus to sell your songs nor a party beat to rap on in order to sell..
