OBASANJO'S LETTERS..... I'm not a fan of OBJ but one of my prayer points has always been that may Obasanjo never write me a letter. Obasanjo may have done exact or more evil than whoever he's writting to admonish but while OBJ always escape repercussions, whoever he writes to admonish are not always lucky.....I inquired sometimes to know how a man who is glaringly not perfect, escapes nemesis, and still will not stop to bring out similar faults of others, it was then I discovered that, indeed "Jacob I love, Esau I hate...." OBJ's involvement in any issue signifies the imminent end of that issue. Why did I say so? OBJ was not too involved in the civil war, others were fighting but suddenly, OBJ was drafted to take over the 3rd Marine Commando, and a war that has been fought for 2.5 years ended few months after. To him Biafra Soldiers surrendered completely and he brought them all to Lagos and handed them over to Gowon!!!! Today, he is viewed as the man who conquered Biafra. It wasn't his will really to lead Nigeria but when Murtala died and he was unanimously selected by the military. OBJ is the first military head of state in Nigeria(if not Africa) to handover powers to the civilian....although, through some shady elections, he handed over to his preferred candidate Shehu Shagari. OBJ didn't spare Shagari when the latter was soaked in mismanagement of the economy. He wrote him. A few months after, the military smashed Shagari government......in 1995, he secretly wrote to Abacha and described him as a stone age dictator...he also refused to settle Abacha rift with Mandela...the letter landed him in trouble. He was almost killed. But after his death sentence was converted into prison terms, he wrote another letter to Abacha titled NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT.....Where he said, "I was a head of state yesterday, today, I'm in jail. You're the head of state today, tomorrow, your condition may be worse than mine...". LOL....Indeed, Abacha's future was worse as he ended inside the grave!!! OBJ didn't write himself while in power but instead wrote his deputy, Atiku Abubakar. Atiku has become a shadow of his pre-1999 self since then. It wasn't clear whether he wrote Yaradua, a terminally ill former Kastina governor he imposed on Nigeria....but he came out publicly and asked him to resign!!! OBJ is one former ruler who hates consipiratory diplomacy and boring protocol.....no former head of state does it better. Although, he also imposed the Ineffectual Buffon(According to the Economist), Jonathan whose damage to Nigeria no get part two, yet, when GEJ corruption reached a level that satan was afraid of Nigeria and even Mobutu in his grave described Jonathan as corrupt(so I heard).....OBJ didn't spare his imposed devil, he wrote him in a letter titled BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE......But it was actually late before the letter was written. Jonathan, today, has become a sorrowful histroy to which many Nigerians don't know why such evil befell us as a nation. Jonathan was a monumental disaster!!! OBJ's latest letter was written to the Saraki led NASS. The NASS leadership brought about by forgery and deceit of other members. The NASS where the SP was a former robbery suspect, DSP a forger, SL alleged boko haram sponsor, minority leader recently attempted to transfer a huge amount of dollars to a safer place. What a NASS ?OBJ in his letter, advised them to stop their corruption and think Nigeria for once. Their reply too is the usual reply OBJ gets from every letter he writes to public officers.....insults, denials and mockery. Unfortunately, anyone he writes is always destroyed thereafter, especially after their expected reply. OBJ, Please don't write me....... I don't have sacrifice money in my house!!! |
Mama u are a living LEGEND |
kidgod:It's impossible to make OBJ irrelevant as long as he lives. |

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, according to exclusive information published by online medium, The Cable, wrote a letter to the leadership of the National Assembly earlier this month accusing them of insensitivity in their plan to acquire 469 cars with N4.7 billion. In his letter, Obasanjo cautioned the National Assembly on their plans to embark on reckless spending in an economic climate that was full of uncertainty and a lot of borrowing. THE leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed regret for referring to President Muhammadu Buhari as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile in his radio broadcasts. Kanu, who has been charged along with two others by the Federal Government before a Federal High Court in Abuja on six counts of treason and other ancillary offences, said he intended to write a private letter to Buhari to express his apology to the President. He also apologised to former President Goodluck Jonathan and Igbo elders for “some uncomplimentary things” he said about them. The 48-year-old pro-Biafran agitation leader, who is, however, unapologetic about his demand for a Republic of Biafra, has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since his arrest in Lagos on October 14, 2015. He tendered the apology for his comment against Buhari and others in a statement which he made to the DSS on October 23. The prosecution, in its summary of the case, alleged that in one of the radio broadcasts by Kanu on August 1, 2015, he expressed his resolve to actualise the Republic of Biafra and “cast aspersions on the person and the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”. The statement read in part, “Reference to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile is regrettable and uncalled for and for that, I unreservedly apologise and will be doing so in a private letter to the President. “Before PMB (President Muhammadu Buhari) there was the administration of Goodluck Jonathan. I also said uncomplimentary things about him and Igbo elders as well, which I now recognise should not have happened because it is un-African to be rude or insolent to elders. “All I was trying to do is to draw attention to the problems afflicting society and something done about them.” Kanu, who described himself as a Nigerian and a British citizen, justified his agitation for a Biafra Republic. He said IPOB’s secessionist agenda was informed by the “incessant hardship, lack of holistic development in the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria, lack of youth employment, corruption in high offices and economic regression.” He added that the agitation by IPOB, which, according to him, was founded in London in 2012 by a group of people from the South-South and South-East regions of the country, was in line with the United Nations Charter on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples ratified by African countries, including Nigeria. In contrast to the counts of managing and assisting in the management of an unlawful society preferred against Kanu and two others, the Radio Biafra founder stated that IPOB, which the prosecution described as unlawful, was registered with the UN to pursue the rights of the people of Biafra. He stated, “I can confirm that I, Nnamdi Kanu, is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra worldwide as a legitimately and duly registered body at the United Nations pursuing the rights of a specific indigenous people, in this case, Biafra, to seek self determination according to the said charter. “The reason for the formation of the Indigenous People of Biafra is to avail those referring to themselves as Biafrans the opportunity made available as a result of the United Nations declaration to seek the peaceful rebirth of Biafra in line with international law.” Kanu, who is a son of a traditional ruler in Abia State, Sir I.O. Kanu, said he operated Radio Biafra, whose programmes “are designed to wake up the public from its slumber and address the issues of the time” because of his belief in free speech and freedom of expression. He explained that the intended Biafra Republic comprised Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Anambra, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta states as well the Igbanke part of Edo State; Igala part of Kogi State and Idoma/Igede part of Edo State. Apart from Kanu, one of the two other defendants in the six counts filed by the Federal Government is a Field Maintenance Engineer, David Nwawuisi, charged with the responsibility of maintaining MTN masts in Enugu State. The other defendant, Benjamin Madubugwu, was said to be living in the Ubilisiuzo, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, where he allegedly received custody of a container, housing transmitters, from Kanu. On December 23 during the accused persons’ appearance in court for their scheduled arraignment, Kanu refused to take his plea due to what he called his lack of confidence in the presiding judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed. The judge promptly returned the case file to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Ibrahim Auta, for reassignment to another judge and the three accused persons were returned to the custody of the Department of State Services. The fresh charges were filed against the three men barely 24 hours after Justice Adeniyi Ademola, in a ruling on Kanu’s bail application on December 17, ordered his unconditional release from DSS custody having been detained for about two months without any valid charges filed against him. http://www.punchng.com/biafra-kanu-apologises-to-buhari-jonathan-igbo-elders/ |

The Court of Appeal, Abuja, on Wednesday upheld the verdict of the Rivers State governorship election petition tribunal which nullified the victory of Nyesom Wike in the April 11 governorship election in the state. The court ordered Wike to vacate the seat immediately. The tribunal headed by Justice Suleiman Ambrosa had in a judgment on October 24 voided Wike’s election and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct fresh election in the state. http://thenationonlineng.net/court-of-appeal-sacks-wike/ |

Rector of Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN), Oron, Akwa Ibom State, Joshua Okpo, is currently in a critical state having slipped into coma after being hit by a sudden cardiac-arrest. Vanguard gathered that Okpo was hospitalised at the National Hospital in Abuja, yesterday when the incident happened. Recall that Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, a few weeks ago ordered the probe of the accounts of the Academy and the tenure of its Rector over the N18 billion released to the institution. The Rector, it was gathered, incurred the Minister’s wrath when he accused the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) of starving the academy of funds. The Minister, it was learnt, summoned the Acting Director-General of NIMASA, Haruna Jauro and demanded explanation as to why the agency was starving the academy of its statutory five per cent funds. “The NIMASA DG was really shocked by Okpo’s allegation and he explained to the Honourable Minister that NIMASA had regularly released money due to the academy,” a report said. Jauro, it was learnt, also informed the Minister that NIMASA had released more than N18 billion to MAN Oron between 2009 and 2014. It was at this point that Okpo, who also attended the meeting, confirmed to the Minister that the academy had actually received up to N13 billion since 2011 when he assumed duties as the Rector of the institution, the report added. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/rector-of-maritime-academy-facing-n13bn-fraud-allegations-in-coma/ |

It beats my mind how people will sit and watch others work hard to become something only for them to impersonate. Imagine people posing as Ukwa, Aki n paw paw, Ini Edo, P-Square etc. These are people u all watch how they started almost from nothing, some came from a very poor background. Some ur own family is better off but they work their ass out to providence. Now u impersonate them to collect money from gullible people. Its a shame!!!! |
