The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has said that the 2020 EndSARS protest failed to produce a revolution because of the alleged ambition of an All Progressives Congress national leader, Bola Tinubu, to become president in 2023.

Kanu argued that the "Yoruba" media watered down the EndSARS protest to prevent Nigeria from collapsing so that Tinubu could be president by 2023.

The IPOB leader argued that the plan of the Fulani was to sow discord and disunity in southern Nigeria, to prevent them from presenting a common front.

Kanu stated these in a special live broadcast on Sunday, while lamenting that the EndSARS protest was an avenue for the oppressed people to regain their freedom from the oppressors.

He said, "The Yoruba are trying to protect their interests because they know, by 2023, there is every likelihood that they may rig Tinubu into office.

"I remember EndSARS very well.  When you come out for a revolution, you must go to the end. When next you are planning to protest, go and study the history of revolution – Russian, French and the George Washington revolution in America. If you think a revolution is to come out on the streets, dance to musicians, no, it is not.

"When the revolution failed was when the Yoruba media allowed themselves to be used. They thought if Nigeria collapsed, Tinubu would not be president in 2023. They kept bringing in tribal, religion and other issues. Had we remained on the streets, forgetting about the palliatives, by now, the zoo would have collapsed.

"They (the Fulani) know that it becomes impossible to penetrate us. So for them to succeed, they have to bring a very clever plot. The Indigenous People of Biafra has derided Nigerian government for attributing to an alleged fake Igbo group a comment demanding the repatriation of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

There were reports that an Igbo professional group, Coalition of South East Professionals’ Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND), wrote an open letter to the Nigerian government, urging it to immediately write the governments of the United Kingdom and Israel, requesting the repatriation of Kanu to face the law for alleged treasonable felony.

The group whose request was contained in the open letter dated January 8th, 2021, and addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, said his action was premised on Kanu’s alleged treasonable activities in the country.

Noting that Kanu possessed citizenship of the two foreign nations, the coalition, according to the letter signed by its National President, Prof. Madumere Chika and National Secretary, Mazi Anayo Uchemba, alleged that the IPOB leader was hiding under the cordial relationship between the two nations and Nigeria to plan and launch attacks on Nigeria with a view to destroying it.

However, IPOB, through its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, described the comments as concocted schemes put together by the Nigerian government.

He also said they were ridiculous and disgraceful.

In a press statement titled ‘Call For Kanu's Repatriation: An Attempt By A Criminally Complicit Government To Appear Relevant,’ made available to SaharaReporters on Sunday, Powerful said it was a confirmation that the leader of IPOB had become a nightmare for the Nigerian government.

IPOB also dared the Nigerian government to ask the signatories of the purported group to hold a press briefing if they ever existed.

“The use of fake and non-existent groups and associations by agents of the Nigerian government in a laughable attempt to blackmail our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is confirmation that the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) is the greatest nightmare of the failed government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Powerful said.

“We find it amusing that a purported statement was circulated and credited to another Department of State Services manufactured non-existent group they named Coalition of South East Professionals Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND), all in an effort to give the erroneous impression that a handful of Efulefus is against the IPOB-led effort to restore Biafra.

“A ghost group that only exists in the deranged mind of DSS propaganda unit operatives, in which it was reported the said group petitioned the UK and Israeli governments requesting the repatriation of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi. How utterly ridiculous!

“Why DSS has chosen to continue to disgrace itself by creating these fake groups is beyond human comprehension. Such a weak and tactless strategy will not distract us. If indeed such a group exists, why can't they conduct a live press briefing to convince the people of Biafra they are real by showing us their faces?”

The group alleged that there had been attempts in the past by the government to create fake groups in a bid to weaken IPOB.

It continued, “This same ineffective strategy has been tried in the past when they created their fake new–IPOB, IPOD, RENPOB, RENIPOB, SEXIPOB and other non-existent groups using fake Igbo names as signatories. They failed then; they will also fail again this time.

“Our response to such a lame script has not changed. If the so-called CSEPNND is real and identifiable, let them show us their faces, give us their contact address so we can take them seriously. If the self-acclaimed leaders of CSEPNND – the imaginary Professor Madumere Chika, and Mazi Anayo Uchemba, are not robots but truly Igbo sons as they claimed, let them mention their communities and kinsmen.”

“It's high time the DSS left Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB alone and thought of better ways to justify their salaries. It's too late to stop the Biafra project. The night is far spent and the day is almost here,” the statement added.

An Igbo professional group, identified as Coalition of South East Professionals’ Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND), had on Saturday written an open letter to the Nigerian government, asking it to urgently write the United Kingdom to request the extradition of Kanu.

“He has no doubt, followed the threat with a number of attacks on the country apart from the formation of a militia group which information at our disposal suggests he has armed to the teeth to fight the Nigerian Government.

“We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria being ably led by President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, whose ministry deals with all extradition issues, to immediately forward extradition request on Kanu to the UK for action. The coalition, on the other hand, called on the United Kingdom and Israel, to deny the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, the freedom of using the privilege of his foreign citizenship to incite violence against the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Igbo leaders met at Igbere, Abia State recently and declared their readiness to prevail on the two major parties, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to field candidates from the South East.

Bamgbose, who is also eyeing the position, described this as no doubt a tall dream, but added that the earlier the Igbo leaders realized that Nnamdi Kanu had become a force in the South East politics, the better for them.

Neglecting him, according to the senior lawyer, “will be at their own peril”, insisting that “Kanu must be carried along if they must actualize their dreams. Despising Kanu will spell doom for Igbo Presidency.”

“Igbo Presidency and agitation for Biafra are odd bedmates. The Igbos must soft pedalled on their agitations if they must have headway in respect of the Presidency,” the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, chieftain told DAILY POST.

“The Igbo leaders must have to bring Kanu on the table. This may seem to be unreasonable but it’s imperative that the Igbo leaders must get Kanu involved or else Igbo Presidency will be a total failure.

“The average Igbos believe in Kanu more than the Igbo leaders. Kanu is a force to reckon with, when you talk about Igbo politics.

“Like I’ve earlier on stated, I’ve made up my mind to end the marginalization in nine months of being sworn in as Executive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“You can’t understand Igbos when you are far from them. Having lived in Igbo land for more than two decades, I sincerely believe I have what it takes to move Nigeria to the next level.

“Let’s tell ourselves the truth, Igbos started nationalism. Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, of blessed memory, remains one of the foremost nationalist in the entire political history of Nigeria.

“No leader will neglect them and have a successful administration. Check it up from the regimes and administrations so far, any administration that gives Igbos opportunities will always excel.

“Check up IBB regime, Obasanjo regime, Yar’adua regime. They were outstanding administrations because they fully recognized the igbos .

“Any administration that abandons them don’t fare well economically and politically. This is just a fact that can be verified. The igbos will be well taken care of during my administration.”

Governor Umahi Now Supporting Northerners Against His People Over Vice-presidential Ambition – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra has condemned Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, for arresting those who shared the video exposing alleged atrocities of Fulani herdsmen in the state. 

IPOB labelled such actions as foolishness and madness, saying the governor chose to eat with the oppressors of his people.

In the press release made available to SaharaReporters, IPOB said the action of the governor was unwise because of his vice-presidential ambition in 2023.

Governor Umahi, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress, had vowed to arrest and punish those sharing video of how killer Fulani herdsmen were allegedly perpetrating evil in the state. 

"The media report of the statement credited to Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, where he reportedly ordered the arrest of innocent locals who had in a viral video exposed the latest atrocities of Fulani terrorist herdsmen in Ebonyi communities, is madness taken too far," Powerful disclosed in the statement. 

"Although we are not surprised at such treachery, it defies logic that a sitting governor will rather choose to dine with the oppressors of his own people just for the derisive promise of an illusory vice-presidential candidacy to a Fulani presidential candidate in 2023. What a shame!

"We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, therefore, wish to warn Governor Umahi against the grave implications of his actions. 

"Declaring law abiding citizens wanted simply because they exposed and confronted foreign terrorists in Ebonyi State is worse than terrorism itself. It only goes to show that Umahi and other eastern politicians know more about the incessant killings, rapes and other atrocities in Ebonyi communities by Fulani herdsmen and terrorists than they are willing to admit.

"It is the height of foolery that Governor Dave Umahi will support foreign Fulani terrorist herdsmen against his own people that voted for him. Does Dave Umahi not know that our mothers for years now have been afraid of going to their farms for fear of being raped by Fulani terrorists and other evil activities of Miyetti Allah? 

"Governor Umahi is only courting the wrath of the people by choosing to swim against the tide. For deciding to sabotage the efforts of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, personnel who are working tirelessly to rid Ebonyi State of killer herdsmen and terrorists, Umahi has declared himself an enemy of the people. And he should be ready to face the consequences of his treachery.

"Governor Umahi is fully aware that the same Fulani killer herdsmen he is protecting have recently renamed Agbabor community close to Uburu town in Onicha Local Government Area to Aruu. What has he done to reverse this affront? Instead of hiding his face in shame that terrorists are now renaming Ebonyi communities under his watch, Umahi is busy threatening patriotic Biafrans who are merely exposing the atrocities of Fulani herdsmen in their communities.”

The group therefore urged Umahi to leave the residents of the state alone.

"We, therefore, advise Governor Umahi and his Miyetti Allah handlers to make sure nothing happens to citizens of Ebonyi State who are within their rights to share the said video. Biafrans will hold him and his family responsible should any harm befall any individual as a result of his wish to serve his Fulani masters. 

"We also warn traditional rulers and President Generals recruited by governors in the South-East against ESN personnel to retrace their steps, otherwise they will eternally regret their action.”

The man of God in charge of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministries, Sasa, Ojoo, Ibadan, Prophet Wale Olagunju has revealed that Nigeria risks a break up and military coup just as he warned the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to prepare for a fate worse than that which the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, suffered in recent elections in the country.

The popular seer made this known in a 45-point prophecy for Year 2021 and beyond. He called on Nigerians to put on the armour of prayers, describing what the nation is currently experiencing under the Buhari administration as child’s play compared to what lies ahead.

According to Prophet Olagunju, God’s wrath awaits those who specialised in rigging and manipulating election results in Nigeria, as “God’s judgment will begin to visit them as from this year and surely many of them will neither witness nor participate in 2023 general election.

“Notable politicians will die mysteriously as a result of their sins against God and mankind.

General Buhari, the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria is terminally sick as revealed to me by the heavenly God. Nigerians should not believe that Buhari is not sick. He is just managing his health that is why things are not moving on well in the country. His government cannot function (more) than that. 

“As revealed to me by the Almighty God. APC  will do everything possible to remain in power in 2023. APC government headed by Buhari is deep in corruption.

“The issue of Tinubu becoming Nigerian president come 2023 is a waste of money and time, as revealed to me by God Almighty. Even if they rig the election for him, just like they did for Buhari, there will be chaos all over Nigeria and the Nigerian Armed Forces will overthrow his government. It is not in the mindset of God for him to rule Nigeria.”

Olagunju revealed that the electoral victory of Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki was shaky, saying, “should Ize Iyamu pray very well he would laugh at the end of the day. 

“Before 2023 presidential election dissidents in the PDP will fragment the party, causing misunderstanding because of inordinate ambition and selfishness and it will affect the party and Atiku.

“God Almighty is very angry with Nigerians as well as the entire people of the world because of their gross sin against God Almighty. He, the Almighty, will continue to wrath His anger on the people of the earth through sickness, sudden death and hardship.

“The government of Buhari will inflict hardship on the people of Nigeria. What we are experiencing now is a child’s play because the economy is seriously rotten and bastardized. Nigeria should prepare their mind for any eventuality. 

“Those principalities controlling and manipulating Nigeria, their days are numbered. 

“The Eastern security Network of IPOD will face serious problem from Buhari’s army. 

“Eyitayo Jegede, the governorship candidate of PDP in Ondo state will not win his case.  Going to court with Akeredolu is waste of money and precious time.” 

Speaking further, Olagunju warned those planning to bring back former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2023 to drop the idea, saying it’s waste of time.

“The cabal of our nation, who are now planning to bring ex-President Jonathan to contest 2023 presidential election. Jonathan and this cabal are day dreaming.

As revealed to me by the Almighty God, APC should prepare for war in 2023 general election as the PDP is ready to do everything to wrest power from APC.

To those who think PDP can’t rule Nigeria again, they are dreaming a dream.  What happened to PDP (God’s judgment) will also happen to APC. For APC is worse and corrupt (than PDP).

“Saraki and Dino Melaye are on their ways to limelight again.

“Before the year 2040 runs out the name “Nigeria” will enter the book of history as the nation called Nigeria will break into five nations and there will be nothing called Nigeria again.

“Already the flag and map of Nigeria have been torn into five in heaven, signifying five nations. That is, five countries under the hands of God. Certainly, Nigeria will break up. Thus says the Lord; and no miracle will change the breakup,” he revealed.

Speaking on the major opposition party, PDP and 2023 elections, the Ibadan-based cleric, said:

 “As revealed to me by the Almighty God, who knows the end from the beginning, there is a Plan B group of people in PDP and APC on how to push Atiku aside and root for Tambuwal and Wike as presidential and vice presidential candidates.

“If PDP thinks that the present leadership of Secondus will lead them to victory in 2023 general election, as revealed to me by the Almighty God, it means that they are dreaming a dream.

“In the eyes of Almighty God the leadership at national level is sinking in corruption and favouritism. Should PDP fail to remove them now, PDP will lose many strong members to the ruling party.” 

The popular seer also urged Nigerians to pray to avert more turbulence before and after 2023, saying,

“If Nigerian people fail to pray now, there will be more problem before and after 2023 elections. Nigeria should prepare for more hardship and increase in the petroleum price. The year 2021, the year of divine visitation on the wicked leaders; a year they will receive their rewards, as revealed to me by God.”

Olagunju said Nigerians should watch out for Tambuwal, Buba Marwa, Kwankwaso, El-Rufai and Fayemi in 2023, saying, “their names will ring bell but the name Atiku will be more pronounced and more popular. But those whom Atiku trusts will betray him. 

“If Buhari fails to pray very well, 2021 will be his last year in office. For him to complete his second tenure in office, it will take miracle of the century. 

“Soonest the rift and misunderstanding that have been rearing its ugly head around all the Nigeria leaders and associations causing disunity will soon be settled. After this, a new generation of leaders will emerge and reposition everything and the Yoruba race will bounce back with unity and love as revealed to me by God Almighty. 

 “God of heaven spoke to me in an audible voice, saying there can never be peace in Nigeria for the people have forsaken Him. As long as the leaders and people refuse to acknowledge the sin of shedding innocent blood  on daily basis. From Tafawa Balewa, Biafra war, Festac 77, killing of innocent people have become normal thing. Thus says the Lord: The land is full of blood and guilty before God.

“Ladoja, the ex-governor of Oyo State should pray against sudden sickness.  

“If PDP in Oyo State thinks that APC is dead as revealed to me by God, that is a mistake on their part, a mistake of the century, for APC in Oyo State will bounce back and become formidable.

“Also, as revealed to me by God of Abraham, for Seyi Makinde to win the second term as governor of Oyo State will take the grace of God and miracle of the century for opposition against him and his government will be stronger.

Scarce and surplus things: Thus says the Lord: Certain things/commodities will be surplus and certain things/commodities will be scarce. Among the things that will be scarce or cost more is oil/petroleum products.

Cost of living: Thus says the Lord: Cost of living in Nigeria will increase tremendously in 2021. Many things will become costlier, but only the food will be surplus and beneficial. 

The President: Thus says the Lord: Pray for the president, else he will not be in existence in 2023. Pray for him so that the people that surrounded him and he relied upon will not harm him in a manner that will make him to lose his life.

Powerful people will be trivialized: Thus says the Lord: The powerful beings will become trivialized. 

The powerful people who are governing the country will be trivialized. 

The powerful people who are the ministers of God (pastors/priests) who ruined their post/position in the kingdom of God because of their aspirations will be trivialized and disgraced.

The Muslims and traditional religious people who are saboteurs, who are using terrestrial power, lies and hypocrisy to destabilize Christian religion or put it in bondage will be disgraced in 2021.


The 2023 political aspirants: Thus says the Lord: All the 2023 political aspirants are wasting their time. The person that I the Lord will make the president of the Nation is yet to contest. All the predictions about who will become the next president is nonsense. Some of the aspirants will pass away in 2021 due to their existing sicknesses; for some, when it remains a little for them to be given the ticket, they won’t be able to progress. 

All Progressives Congress (APC): Thus says the Lord: Many governors and members of the cabinet will decamp from APC to form another political party. 

All Progressives Congress (APC) & People's Democratic Party (PDP): Thus says the Lord: APC will be divided into three sections/groups, while PDP will disintegrate into three factions. Though some of these groups/factions will join forces to become one, however I the Lord is yet to see the Beloved that I want to utilize.

Women will contest for political positions: Thus says the Lord of hosts: Starting from 2021 women will be contesting for governorship and presidency positions. They will also contest for house of assembly positions and other viable positions. 

A woman will become Governor: Thus says the Lord: A woman will become the governor of a state before 2023. Also one exalted position will be given to a woman.

Demise of a Governor: Thus says the Lord of hosts: A governor will die in 2021 and his death will shake people. It is a simple illness that will kill this governor, then his post will be given to his neighbor who is better than him.

Pray for prominent figures/dignitaries: Thus says the Lord: Pray for prominent dignitaries like professors, ex-governors, first class kings, ex-senators, ex-commissioners, ex-presidents, ex-ministers and the ambassadors.. People should pray for them in January 2021 because mysterious events will happen.

Governor Obaseki:
Thus says the Lord: His government will be shaken in 2021. The opponents will influence his political party in order to shake his government. If he changed by feeding at the idolatry table; if he changed by trivializing My ministers; then some people will raise a panel from Abuja and they will find offense to impeach him.

Governor Akeredolu: Thus says the Lord: He should pray against mysterious a event that can happen in his cabinet concerning the people that he relied upon that can make him to weep between January and February 2021. He should pray fervently for the following people: his chief of staff, the deputy governor, the speaker of the house of assembly, his commissioners and the secretary of state government; including the political party leader in his state. The reason is that if his supporters are falling, he will not have the free hand to govern as he likes. Once these people have fallen, his government will be shaken from March until September 2021.

Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi and Bishop Oyedepo: Thus says the Lord: I the Lord is expecting their amendments. I am patient with these big pastors, but they should take steps of rectification, says the Lord God of hosts. They should speak the truth. They should abstain from political activities. They should make necessary rectification in their churches and teach their members the important lectures that can improve the future of their congregations.

Thus says the Lord: This is the third time that I am sending these messages to them. Any of them that is stubborn and refuse to take steps will face the consequences. If they are doubting these messages they should come to I the Lord for verification since they believed that I am the Spirit that is living in them. 

Thus says the Lord: If they refuse to take steps according to My instructions, their time to sleep is very close/near. I the Lord owns the key of the Spirit of humans and I will pronounce judgment accordingly. It is good for humans to rectify their ways when they still have the grace because once they are dead there are no more amendments.

The diabolical plan of China: Thus says the Lord: The future of Nigeria needs prayer and protection, so that the Chinese will not ruin the future of the Nigerian youths. The action that the people in authority think is good/okay is a trap by the Chinese for the future of the Nigerian youths.

The youth will be energized: Thus says the Lord: I will raise the youths from every department/aspect of Nigerian society. I the Lord will remove the veil that is covering the faces of the Nigerian youths. The youths will fight for their rights in 2021. 

Looming crisis will burst: Thus says the Lord: The incoming crisis will burst as from February 2nd, 2021 and its impact will be felt until May 2021. Therefore the Beloved should pray so that this looming crisis will not burst; because it will have a widespread effect.

Foreign religion will be imposed: Thus says the Lord: The Jihadists, the religion which came from Saudi Arabia, Chad and Niger will be imposed on the population of Nigeria to be received by force.

Pray against death of Musicians: Thus says the Lord: People should pray against the demise of the Gospel singers between January and March 2021. People should pray for the Fuji and juju musicians, together with the hip hop singers, so that three of them will not pass away between January and February 2021.

Pray for the movie Actors and Actresses: Thus says the Lord: Pray for the film producing artists because Satan is planning to take both the Yoruba and English movie actors and actresses between January 14th, and March 17th, 2021. They should pray for the famous actors and actresses.

Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.’ Ezekiel 33:1-11

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19

The Indigenous People of Biafra says that the newly created Eastern Security Network has many members who are university graduates and volunteers who relocated from the Diaspora to put an end to terror in the South-East region. 

Also, the group said the unfavourable disposition of South-East governors towards its new security initiative would not affect the success of its mission to defend the region in any way.

The Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, told SaharaReporters in an interview on Wednesday. 

 Speaking on the criteria used in recruiting fighters for ESN, Powerful said, "Willingness to die in defence of Biafraland against local and foreign terrorists. It is a volunteer force, but it's not like the absurdity obtained in Nigerian security agencies. Many of our men are graduates; some relocated from North America, Asia and Europe to be part of ESN.

"We have people of all stations and academic backgrounds. But what is paramount is that our men are highly trained and disciplined. We make sure they get the best of training required to defend the land of their ancestors according to internationally accepted standards and practice. 

"We never expected the governors to support Eastern Security Network. The governors are part of our problem because of their selfish interests. They are the ones benefitting under the current one Nigeria slavery."

Responding to a question about the strength of the ESN in number, Powerful said, "I don't consider it appropriate to give details of the size of our security outfit until the appointed time. But we have enough volunteers to defend every community in Biafra territory against invaders effectively.

"I can authoritatively assure you that the days of Fulani herdsmen slaughtering Biafrans at will or destroying their crops with impunity are over. Such a dastardly act is now a suicide mission! Our enemies understand this very clearly. Today ESN is ready to do that which the oppressive Nigerian government and our cowardly governors have failed to do.

"But the truth remains that their dissociation from the security outfit is of no significance or consequence. ESN is the people's movement. It doesn't revolve around any governor or misguided political criminals masquerading as an elite. There is a saying in Igbo parlance that 'Ootu Onitsha does not know that one person did not come to market.'

"So, we don't miss the involvement of traitors and saboteurs like South-East governors who are only after the interest of their Fulani slave masters.

"ESN is formidable, and can effectively operate without the involvement of any governor. The security outfit will flourish without the support of the governors in our land. I don't think we can trust them. IPOB is the largest mass movement on the face of the earth."

 

The IPOB spokesman also reiterated that the security outfit was set up to fish out terrorists, kidnappers and bandits lurking in the forests, adding that the possession of lethal weapons was not needed to execute the tasks.

"The security formation has started full operation since the inauguration. They have shown their readiness in every forest and bush in Biafra territory. We do not operate in homes, cities or towns but in the bushes and forests where terrorists lurk to rape our mothers. After our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, inaugurated them on December 12, 2020, they became active.

 "ESN Security operatives do not need sophisticated weapons to defend Biafran land against terrorists, although such are readily available should the need arise. Killer herdsmen, kidnappers and criminals who have been terrorising our people understand that the game has changed for good."

 Regarding the position of the Nigerian government towards the security outfit and its move to have the Nigerian Army flush them out of their camp, Powerful said it should be noted that ESN "is not in contention against the army or police and that its counterpart in the South-West region, Amotekun, is seen as an ally in rescuing the masses from the claws of criminals since their objectives are the same". 

He added, "First of all, I want to correct the misconception about ESN in some quarters, particularly among the enemy camp. ESN is not after Nigeria security agencies. ESN is not Biafran Army but a mere security outfit like Amotekun in the South-West, and the Miyetti Allah National Security Network.

"The mandate of ESN is to protect Biafran land against terrorists, a responsibility which both the Federal Government and our governors have criminally failed to carry out. ESN is a child of necessity.

 "So, why should any sane security personnel come to look for the trouble of ESN? Let the Nigerian security operatives not make the mistake of engaging ESN in any confrontation because it will be deadly for all, including the politicians instigating them."

 He, however, noted that ESN was open to working with the Western Nigeria Security Network, also known as Operation Amotekun, saying, "Again, don't forget that Afenifere was the first front-line socio-cultural group to support ESN, even before Ohanaeze Ndigbo grudgingly offered theirs. South-East governors and their likes are wretched cowards in the pocket of the caliphate.

 "So, I can tell you that Amotekun and ESN can and will perfectly collaborate if and when the need arises. They have a common agenda. Don't forget that when Amotekun was formed and inaugurated, our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, assured them that he was ready to send them one million men to support them if they needed such help.

 "We are working together to free our peoples from the British bondage called Nigeria, criminally skewed to favour the Fulani hegemony which has since metamorphosed into terrorism and daylight banditry."

leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, alleged that there are plots by South East governors to engage its newly established Eastern Security Network, ESN, with their respective vigilante groups in a battle.

Kanu, who said that self-defence is legal in Nigeria, in a statement through IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, further alleged that the game plan is to orchestrate crisis between the vigilante groups and ESN to pave the way for Nigeria soldiers to attack ESN personnel.

He, therefore urged vigilante groups in the five South East states, who had been contacted or being recruited by the masterminds of the alleged plan to have a rethink.

Mazi Kanu’s statement read in part: “Through intelligence gathering, it has come to the knowledge of the IPOB that the governors of the old Eastern Region, are now recruiting traditional rulers, president-generals and politicians to mobilize some local vigilantes to engage Eastern Security Network, ESN in their various localities.

“The game plan is to orchestrate crisis between the vigilante groups and ESN to pave the way for Nigeria soldiers to attack ESN personnel. We therefore, wish to warn all local vigilantes in every state of Biafra who have been/may be contacted or are being recruited by the masterminds of this evil agenda through the traditional rulers and President Generals, PGs of any community or town in Biafraland to attack ESN operatives to have a rethink. Embarking on such unholy mission is suicidal!

“Anyone, vigilante group, community, traditional ruler or President General, political elite or anybody under any guise who will connive with the enemy to expose or attack ESN in their locality will live in eternal regret of such satanic mission. It’s not a threat but a promise!

“We want to make it clear that leaders of any community in Biafra land where any ESN personnel is attacked will pay dearly for such attack. In the same way, the Governor of any state where the security outfit is attacked shall also be held responsible. Any traditional ruler, PG and vigilante group who collaborates with the Nigeria military to attack ESN operatives should be prepared to bear the bitter consequences of their treachery.”

In another statement he signed personally, Kanu said: ”In Nigeria, self-defence is legal. Section 59 of Penal Code states: “Nothing is an offence of which is done in the lawful exercise of the right of private defence”. Section 32, Criminal Code states ‘It is not a crime to resist actual and unlawful violence‘.

Meanwhile, a group, the Movement Against Dissidents in Nigeria, yesterday, warned Nnamdi Kanu over his armed Eastern Security Network.
The convener of the group, Obinna Osita, who gave this warning in Owerri, said that the continued showcasing of ammunition by IPOB would end up producing dangerous militia group against the Igbo people.

“IPOB has some set of reckless, gullible, ignorant and untrained minds called members. We must caution here that if these untrained and bigoted minds are encouraged by Nnamdi Kanu, to carry assault riffles and other weapons and unleash them on Nigerians, we are doomed in this country with a new set of dangerous militia group in Eastern Nigeria.”

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Monday, said that the South East governors approach to the issue of insecurity, criminal and killer herdsmen is indicative of the mindset of a divided and conquered people.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen, through IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, Mazi Kanu, alleged that the pathetic, cowardly and fragmented approach to the great threat to southeast existence is the result of years of cruel and deliberate partitioning of the people’s land, cutting Igboland into five states, dividing it and calling it alien names.

He said that South East governors have allowed themselves to become willing tools of the caliphate for destruction, adding that some Igbo people have been cajoled and intimidated to the point where they deny their own identity.

Mazi Kanu’s statement read: “Having waited for many years for our governors to secure our land as Yoruba governors did to no avail, we the people of the East comprising of South East and South South have resolved to defend our land from the ravages of terrorism and extra judicial killings by the criminal and killer herdsmen backed by Nigerian armed forces.

“We can’t allow what happened in Obigbo to repeat itself. It has fallen on this generation to defend our land against the ravages of their terrorism and the hegemonic tendencies of a particular ethnic group in Nigeria.

“For years, our mothers have not been able to visit their farms for fear of being raped and cut to pieces. Our invaders, some of them from Sene-Gambia according to El-Rufai are in our villages raping and killing at will. Our response to the endless cycle of insecurity is allowing our mothers and sisters to be raped.

“Delta State Government has inaugurated Operation Delta Hawk, a new security outfit in the classic fragmented approach of the East to issues of national importance.

“The West was united in their effort to combat a particular ethnic group’s terrorism in their territory. Even Miyetti Allah, an open supporter of killer herdsmen had the guts to float a vigilante outfit that they wanted to spread to every nook and cranny of Nigeria with the support of the Presidency and Northern governors.

“Sadly, in our land, the governors in the East cowardly allowed themselves to become fragmented out of fear of displeasing their caliphate masters.

“The approach of Eastern governors to the issue of insecurity and an ethnic group’s terrorism is indicative of the mindset of a divided and conquered people.

“The pathetic, cowardly and fragmented approach to this great threat to our existence is the result of years of cruel and deliberate partitioning of our land, cutting Igboland into five inconsequential states, dividing us and calling us alien names like Niger Delta, South South, South East and goodness knows what else.

Mazi Kanu, also told those weeping for the blood letting in Northern Nigeria that he speak as a human being who is possessed of a compatriot spirit of suffering humans everywhere, and not discriminating against anyone.

“First, I speak as a human being who is possessed of a compatriot spirit with suffering humans everywhere.

“Second I speak as a witness to the sufferings of Biafrans at the hands of their Nigerian compatriots, all to the point that instead of waning, our resolve for a separate state has been strengthened and cast in stone.

“Today, I present to the world our first and last line of defense against a particular ethnic group inspired anarchy and mayhem across the entire Middle Belt and South.

“The Eastern Security Network is here to bring to an end, years of Miyetti Allah terrorism in our land. This security outfit, modelled along the lines of Amotekun in the West and Miyetti Allah vigilante group in the North, will provide the entire East, South South and South East with the necessary assurance that crimes such as kidnapping, armed robbery, illegal occupation of our forests and river banks by marauding killers from the Sahel is brought to an end with immediate effect.

“Every ethnic group across Biafraland is well represented in this formation, therefore, I am confident that every city, town and village will be protected from the ravages of killer herdsmen and other terrorist activities in whatever guise it manifests itself.”

THE leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, says the group launched a security outfit in Biafraland because of the failure of the governors in the region to do so.

Kanu stated this in a statement he signed on Tuesday.

He accused the governors of sleeping over what he called the mass killings of the people of the area.

Reacting, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, John Abang, said, “I don't know anything about them. I don't work for them and I don't work with them. Maybe ask them what they meant by setting up a security outfit.”

Recall that more than 300 schoolboys are still missing after gunmen attacked a secondary school in Kankara, a town in Nigeria’s northwestern Katsina state, authorities said.

Attackers on motorcycles stormed the all-boys Government Science School late on Friday and engaged security forces in a fierce gun battle, forcing hundreds of students to flee and hide in the surrounding forest.

However, Pastor Giwa wondered why “the nation would have a president who could not lay his life for his citizens by protecting them.”

The cleric added, “By now, nobody should have advised the service chiefs to resign before they do so.”

Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona Republican Electors Cast Votes for Trump
Republican electors in four states said on Dec. 14 that they would cast their procedural votes for President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the latest update contesting the results of the 2020 election.

Republican electors in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona all said they voted for Trump. It comes as their states formally appointed Democratic electors who voted for Democrat Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.).

The Pennsylvania GOP said in a news release that electors met in Harrisburg to “cast a conditional vote” for Trump and Pence “at the request of the Trump campaign.” Their vote comes as Democratic electors cast their Electoral College votes for Biden and Harris.

The Pennsylvania GOP cited the 1960 presidential election between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy, who would become the eventual winner.

“We took this procedural vote to preserve any legal claims that may be preserved going forward,” said Pennsylvania Trump campaign chairman Bernie Comfort in a statement.

In Georgia, David Shafer, the chairman of the state’s Republican Party, said that GOP electors made their move today because the “President’s lawsuit contesting the Georgia election is still pending.”

“The Republican nominees for Presidential Elector met today at noon at the State Capitol today and cast their votes for President and Vice President,” Shafer said in a Twitter post. “Had we not meet today and cast our votes, the President’s pending election contest would have been effectively mooted. Our action today preserves his rights under Georgia law.”

The same thing was done in Nevada, with the state’s Republican electors casting their vote for Trump and Pence. In a Twitter post by the Nevada GOP, they stated, “History made today.” 

Arizona’s Republican presidential electors also voted for Trump and Pence, according to the state’s Republican party.

The Electoral College votes are cast on Dec. 14 and counted on Jan. 6 during a Joint Session of Congress, when the House of Representatives and Senate meet.

After states have completed their vote counts and gathered the official results, “the U.S. Code (3 U.S.C. Section 6) requires the state governors to prepare, ‘as soon as practicable,’ documents known as Certificates of Ascertainment of the vote.”

“The certificates must list the names of the electors chosen by the voters and the number of votes received in the popular election results, also the names of all losing candidates for elector, and the number of votes they received,” according to the Congressional Research Service.

“Certificates of Ascertainment, which are often signed by state governors, must carry the seal of the state. One copy is forwarded to the Archivist of the United States, while six duplicates of the Certificate of Ascertainment must be provided to the electors by December 14, the date on which they meet.”

According to the U.S. Code, when the House and Senate meet, they have to look into “all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes.” Several Republican members of Congress have said they would attempt to object to the counting of the Electoral College votes for a state, which would then trigger a series of debates and votes.

White House adviser Stephen Miller told Fox News on Dec. 14 that alternate groups of electors were being chosen in several states, claiming that it would lead to Trump’s reelection.

“The only date in the Constitution is Jan. 20. So we have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election result and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election,” Miller said on “Fox & Friends,” referring to Inauguration Day.

Competing Electors

States with close contests between Trump and his rival Biden were expected to potentially produce competing slates of electors, one certified by the governor and the other by the legislature.

It is unclear if all of the Republican electors in the five states were formally certified. Either way, Congress is likely to end up with competing slates of electors come Jan. 6, when the two chambers are scheduled to count the votes. While a process exists to resolve disputes between duelling electors, it has never been tested in the courts.

Approving a set of electors would require the majority in both chambers. The balance of power in the Senate will be determined by the results of the two runoff elections in Georgia. Should Democrats win both seats, a 50-50 tie in the Senate would hand the tiebreaker vote to the vice president.

If lawmakers cannot agree on a set of electors, the country will find itself in uncharted territory, which may prompt intervention from the Supreme Court. If history is a guide, the state delegations in the House may have to pick a president. Republicans have the majority of delegations.

The Indigenous People of Biafra has launched a security outfit against criminal herdsmen.

The Media and Public Secretary of the group, Emma Powerful, announced this in a statement on Sunday.

He said the security outfit would guard and protect “the whole Biafra land from the rampaging Fulani herdsmen terrorists and other criminal groups in our land.”

The statement read in part, “The sole aim and objective of this newly formed security outfit known as Eastern Security Network is to halt every criminal activity and terrorists attack on Biafraland.

“This outfit which is a vigilante group like the Amotekun in the South-West and the Miyetti Allah security outfit will ensure the safety of our forests and farm lands which terrorists have converted into slaughter grounds and raping fields.

“Since the South-East and South South governors have failed to float a regional security outfit unlike their counterparts in the South-West despite the worsening insecurity in the country, we have decided not to wait endlessly while our mothers and sisters are continually raped and slaughtered like fowls by terrorists in our land.

“We can’t watch helplessly while those we are agitating to liberate from bondage are gradually being eliminated by terrorists.

“We therefore , advise every robber, kidnapper and other criminals to steer clear from Biafra land or brace up for the worst. We must defend Biafra no matter the price.

“Biafra security Network personnel will release special phone numbers for people to call whenever there is any case of criminality, including kidnapping and robbery activities, in the whole of Biafra land.

Every resident in Biafra land should use the numbers to report any criminal activity anywhere in Biafra land for prompt response.

Gets Ohanaeze support

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has floated a security outfit for the South East and South-South regions.

IPOB said it was moved to establish Eastern Security Network (ESN) by the failure of governments of the two regions to set up regional security outfits like their counterparts in other regions despite the worsening insecurity in the country.

ESN is expected to ensure safety in every forest and farmland in the old eastern region against rampaging criminal activities.

The Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, stated that the group could not continue to wait endlessly while women were continually raped and slaughtered by terrorists. “We can’t watch helplessly while those we are agitating to liberate from bondage are gradually being eliminated by terrorists.”

He added that the intention of the outfit was “not for the forceful declaration of Biafra”, stressing that it would continue to ask for restoration of Biafra in accordance with international laws.

“The outfit, which is a vigilante group like the Amotekun in the South West and the Hisbah Police in the North, will ensure the safety of our forests and farmlands, which terrorists have converted into slaughter grounds and raping fields.

“We, therefore, advise every robber, kidnapper, and other criminals to steer clear of Biafraland or brace up for the worst. We must defend Biafraland, no matter the price,” Powerful stated.

Reacting to the development yesterday, apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said it was in support of whatever could be done by any group to secure the people, as long as such followed due process.

National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chuks Ibegbu, stated that nowhere in the country was safe, stressing that Nigerians must rise to protect themselves in accordance with the law.

Alluding to the recent kidnap of pupils in Katsina State, he said: “Whatever could be done to safeguard our people is supported. Whatever any group can do to secure the area is welcome, as long as they do it with due regard to the laws of the land.”

Nnamdi Kanu Launches Eastern Security Network, Says Not Different From Amotekun, Miyetti Allah
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has announced the launch of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

According to Kanu, during a live Facebook post, ESN was established to defend the people of the Eastern Region from terrorists and bandits allegedly trooping in from the North.

“Unveiling the Eastern Security Network. This Is our answer to insecurity and Fulani terrorism,” Kano wrote on Facebook.

The IPOB leader, in another Facebook broadcast monitored by SaharaReporters, blamed the South East and South-South governors for the upsurge of killings by bandits and herdsmen in ‘Igboland’.

In the video, more than 500 young people in an undisclosed location were on parade.

They were decked in a black uniform with red and green beret.

"Gbosa (salute) for our leader (Kanu); it is not easy to gather an army like this," one of them said in the video.

IPOB has been designated as a terrorist group by the Federal Government. An Abuja Federal High Court judgment had also affirmed its proscription as a terrorist organisation.

IPOB had kicked against the judgement, saying it was only in Nigeria that a harmless organisation could be declared as terrorist and proscribed.

Kanu, in the new video which is now trending on social media, said, “We are going to announce our preparedness to defend our land of Biafra, having to wait for many years for our governors in our land, the entire South-East and South-South to do what their counterparts in Yoruba land did and even what the terrorist Meyetti Allah managed to do which our governors have failed to do till this very day. 

“We have decided to take it upon ourselves to defend the land of Biafra; we are determined and resolute and we are not going to stop until we eradicate every trace of Fulani terrorism in our midst.

“For years, our mothers have not been able to go to the farms, our daughters are being raped and cut into pieces. Everybody is aware of what transpired at Nimbo, at Ozokwani, and what’s happening right now in Delta, what is happening in Ebonyi State and what’s happening in some parts of Abia. We cannot allow it to continue. This present generation of IPOB won’t tolerate it; we will rather die than to allow the ‘supporter of APC’ terrorists take over our lands. 

“Our invaders, we were being told, come from the Gambia, we were being told they come from Mali, some from the Niger Republic, some are from Chad according to the Governor of Kaduna State, El-Rufai. Therefore, we are setting up the Eastern Security Network to combat the excesses of these vagabonds and criminals. We are going to defend our lands from the ravage of the Fulani.” Kanu said.

The leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has raised the alarm over alleged airlifting members of the organisation to the north for secret execution on Monday.

Kanu, who spoke through the Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said the IPOB intelligence unit discovered soldiers were picking anybody suspected to be IPOB or supporter of IPOB in Obigbo Rivers.

He alleged the Nigeria Army and police abducted over 300 innocent people out of Rivers and took them to Army barracks in Niger, Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina, and Kano with the intention of keeping them incommunicado before taking them to an abattoir where they will slaughter them without the knowledge of the public.

“In scenes reminiscent of the transportation of European Jews to Nazi Concentration (Death) Camps for Hitler’s ‘final solution’ during the holocaust, the HQ Nigerian Army without due judicial process abducted and moved 58 igbojews from Obigbo to Nigerian Army secret concentration camps in Niger after the destruction of six synagogues in the latest round of the unending Wike inspired #obigbogenocide.

“Our sources within the Nigerian Army has provided us with the names of some, not all, of the #IgboJews taken from #Obigbo and slated for summary execution at 5 pm local Nigerian time on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the notorious Kontangora Barracks.”

According to him, they are presently held in four locations namely: Kontagora (Army Barracks) where the executions will take place on Monday, November 30 at 5 pm, Bida, Zungeru, and Jebba.

“The statute of the @IntlCrimCourt clearly sets out ICC jurisdiction over crimes against humanity & the crime of aggression, which are exactly what Nigerian Army and Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike have been doing in Obigbo under the command and control of the presidency,” he alleged.

“We are putting the global community, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, civil society organizations, the international media, the CNN, BBC, Reuters and others on notice of the caliphate’s plans going on against unarmed and peaceful people of IPOB at Obigbo Rivers State with the instructions of Gov Wike.

“The Nigerian Army Headquarters is secretly removing innocent Jewish worshipers and Christians from Biafraland to dungeons in the Islamic Northern part of Nigeria.

“Those spearheading these atrocities should be held accountable for this dastardly act and inhumanity,” he stated.

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra has accused the Nigerian Army of airlifting members arrested in Oyigbo, Rivers State to secret detention centres in the Northern part of the country.

The IPOB leadership in a statement issued by its spokesman, Comrade Emma Powerful also accused Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike of conspiring with the security agencies to airlift some of the arrested IPOB supporters, Citizens of Oyigbo LGA and some Jewish worshippers to many Northern states in an attempt to execute them without any trace of their whereabouts.

In the statement which reads in part, Powerful who claimed that IPOB gathered that about 300 of its members were being kept at the Obinze Artillery in Imo State said, “IPOB intelligence unit discovered how Nigeria Army in collaboration with Governor Wike was picking anybody suspected to be IPOB or supporter of IPOB in Obigbo Rivers State.

“Our intelligence revealed that the Nigeria Army and police abducted over 300 innocent people out of Rivers State and took them to Army barracks in some Northern States including Niger, Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina and Kano with the intention of keeping them incommunicado to their people before taking to them to abattoir where they will slaughter them without the knowledge of the public.

“It is also at our disposal that the Nigeria Government, Wike and the Army slaughtered over 500 innocent people and arrested more than 1000 percent in Obigbo LGA Rivers State during the EndSARS protest in Nigeria.

“Nigeria government and her partners in crime, the security forces are abducting youths of Biafra from Rivers State and airlifting them to the Boko Haram territories for possible executions.

The judge who ordered Pennsylvania to not certify the results of the 2020 election wrote in an opinion on Friday that the Republicans who filed the related lawsuit will likely win the case.

Pennsylvania Commonwealth Judge Patricia McCullough made the assessment as part of an opinion explaining her rationale for blocking Pennsylvania’s election certification.

A group of Republican lawmakers and candidates sued the Keystone State earlier this week, arguing that the state legislature’s mail-in voting law—Act 77—violated the commonwealth’s constitution.

“Petitioners appear to have established a likelihood to succeed on the merits because petitioners have asserted the Constitution does not provide a mechanism for the legislature to allow for expansion of absentee voting without a constitutional amendment,” McCullough wrote.

When ruling on an emergency injunction, judges have to consider whether the party which requested the injunction is likely to win the case or “succeed on the merits.” McCullough opined that the “petitioners appear to have a viable claim that the mail-in ballot procedures set forth in Act 77 contravene” the plain language of the provision of the Pennsylvania Constitution which deals with absentee voting.

Pennsylvania said that it had certified the results of the election for president and vice president on Nov. 24 while the court was reviewing briefings from both parties. In response, the plaintiffs filed a request for an emergency injunction, arguing that that state need not have acted so fast.

“It appears that respondents’ actions may have been accelerated in response to the application for emergency relief … in an effort to preclude any remedial action by this court faster than this court was able to evaluate the application for emergency relief and the answers to it,” the plaintiffs wrote.

The emergency request underlined that while Pennsylvania completed vote-counting and submitted the signed certification to the U.S. archivist, a number of steps still remain for the formal certification process to be completed.

“While Respondents may have proactively attempted to avoid potential injunctive relief granted by this Court, Respondents duties with regard to finalization of the full election results are far from complete,” the filing states.

Republican state lawmakers in Pennsylvania released a memo on Nov. 27, advising that they will soon introduce a resolution to dispute the results of the 2020 election.

The resolution states that the executive and judicial branches of the Keystone State’s government usurped the legislature’s constitutional power to set the rules of the election.

The resolution “declares that the selection of presidential electors and other statewide electoral contest results in this commonwealth is in dispute” and “urges the secretary of the commonwealth and the governor to withdraw or vacate the certification of presidential electors and to delay certification of results in other statewide electoral contests voted on at the 2020 general election.”
