I got my SL in April and it took my aunty just one day.
She booked the appointment one week in advance but she got it the same day she went for the appointment.

SL is issued in one day… once they check her documents and she has a good job to sponsor you, it will be issued immidiately…

Is your sponsor related to you? If No check well for lies…
If yes she may not have a good job to sponsor you but may not tell you…

Did you pay? If yes let’s pray it’s not scam, (you should have seen the document via video or picture before paying… that’s how it’s done…

If you didn’t pay then let’s hope for the best…

My mom did for me twice actually in 2017 and in 2020… still did for my friend… same day collection…

Mine didn’t take upto that… but it may due to corona… so just chill… as long as you are in CAT A and you did all they required you’ll get your visa… Gods grace

If you are in Cat A and you have any questions on whatever please do let me know…. Cat B please don’t get discouraged, I only said CAT A because the info I have will only be useful for them…

If I have any help to render to CAT B, I will do so… meanwhile the corona situation here in Germany is getting better as the incidence is really very low due to high vaccine coverage… so hopefully CAT B will get attention soon…

Who is always in charge of visa process?

German Embassy in Nigeria or The alien office in the city your school is located?

Because I message the alien office and they said they are not in charge of it, they said na the diplomatic mission abroad.

If the Alien office say yes to the embassy they will issue you a visa… if they say no embassy denies you visa…

But embassy also reserves the right to say No if something seems off….

I can’t recall bro… but I think it got that AD 2wks after my registration… I had my interview In November and my visa came in January after I was asked to go to Abuja and make a correction in my passport…

It doesn't matter,whether temporary or permanent.
I don't think Benin Republic even issue permanent resident permit.
What the German Embassy there require from you is "resident permit" of at least 6 months from the date of issuance.

Oga I am telling you what I know from experience… I went to Cotonou with a resident resident permit and they told me the one they need… I spent 2 weeks trying to gather documents to reapply again…

Anyways it’s all in the past…God heard my prayers I’m in Freiburg now

Otherwise means if you don’t have the permanent resident permit for benin republic, don’t bother booking appointment with them…

U will get the appointment but the first thing they request is the permanent resident permit….

Permanent not temporal oo…

This was my experience in 2020 before finally came back to Nigeria and got shifted to category A

Greeting from Freiburg… arrived here in Feb becos I started online with my school last year in September…
Currently in the last 3 months of my Program… it’s a one year intensive masters program…

I remember my journey from 2018… don’t give up keep trying… but most importantly try schorlaships also…. I don’t know the state of the category selection… so it’s best to try schorlaships also…

My program has tuition attached because it’s under the faculty of medicine but half of my classmates are funded by DAAD scholarship… if I had known I would have applied too…

And wouldn’t have to pay tuition and use sponsorship as I did…

In the end i wish you all success…

I will offer my knowledge in answering questions here too if you have any…
