No place in Nigeria is safe from these incidents. Some regions are just more successful at exposing these murderous criminals than others.

Well said. Kidnapping and money ritualism are carried out in every nook and cranny of the country. People just get to hear about the ones in Southwest more because of high media presence. If every other regions get as much media coverage as SW, you will be surprised at the number of money ritual cases discovered

Politics / Re: Peter Obi On Biafra: "IPOB Agitation Won't End By Army Crackdown, Quote Me" by hilroy: 2:27pm On Sep 23, 2017
No one is saying Biafra agitation will end with military crackdown Mr. Obi. We know that you Igbos start planting the seed of claiming to be marginalized and hate for other tribes inside your children at a very young age. All we are saying is that if anyone of you come in later years and start tolling the footsteps of Cownu by being disrespectful to the laws of the land and promoting violence, such person shall meet the same fate idiotic cownu and his stupid Ipob met.

..... I'm not one of those people who insult other tribes......we are all different and so have different cultures, likes and stuff like that...as an igbo boy I don't eat a particular soup(name withheld) because I wasn't trained with it.....my mother loves ewedu and amala lik but I detest it....its just all about diversity...and I don't see anything wrong with those food you listed even though I spent my first seventeen years with Yorubas

I surely didn't say there is anything wrong with those foods. Trust me, out of those foods I mentioned, the only one I haven't had is Nsala, and if you bring it for me today, I will eat it without hesitation and add it to the very long list of foods that had been consumed by hilroy. When it comes to food, I'm super open-minded. I'm not trying to blow my horn, but I have eaten delicacy from over 30 countries. One thing I know is that foods come in different form, taste, color and appearance. However, the fact remains that whatever a race, tribe, clan or group decide to eat, no one has the right to speak ill of it.

I'm not igbo but seriously it's not that deep! They simply felt the food was disgusting, it's too bad you are offended about that.

If you Igbo or not, it doesn't stop the fact that what a particular tribe decide to eat shouldn't be an object of disgust to another tribe, and if the sight of the food irritates you, keep it to yourself and stop saying to the tribe in question that their food is disgusting in every freaking discussion because surely there is something disgusting about your own food to other tribe.

Nna biko remove okpa from that list angry

In all honesty, Okpa looks like shit for Non-Nigerian that hasn't seen moimoi before. But unlike moimoi that has shapes like round, triangle or rectangle to it, okpa is mostly shapeless semi-solid food packed in a nylon bag (or leather as Igbos like to call it). But that doesn't mean it's not a delicacy. Yours truly ate alot of Okpa and Igbagbu oka during my youth service in Enugu. Whatever particular people decide to eat shouldn't be headache for outsiders the way Amala and Ewedu is big headache for many Igbos

We can all see the hateful and bigotry tribe on this thread. The Op ask of cultural shock anyone has witnessed, and the Igbos deem it fit to throw jabs on Yorubas Amala and Ewedu like they used too. Meanwhile, there are many disgusting foods they eat like Abacha, Okpa, oha (which is purely tree leaves) and Nsala (looks like shit) but you will never hear Yoruba make derogatory comments about their shitty foods. And if I start to list out the cultural shocks from that tribe many people will be shocked to their bone marrows

Operation Python meted out to Ipob is just a sparring session for the real fight. Can you all imagine that the pigs blabbing that they will tear the zoo into pieces can not even withstand Nigerian military for 1 hour. It is an insult to terrorist groups like Isis, al shabab and boko haram that ipob is called a terrorist organization even though they are truly a terrorist organization. The pigs have been seriously dealt with and roasted like bacon.
NA abeg carry go jare, every terrorist organizations in the country must be totally crushed

Politics / Re: Ajimobi, Ambode, Alaafin, Others Insist On Restructuring by hilroy: 2:17pm On Sep 19, 2017
Yorubas have had enough. It is high time each tribe bore their papa name. Let everybody go develop their region. Yorubas region being the most developed and most peaceful cannot continue to get insulted for welcoming other tribes especially the Igbos. We Omoluabis in diaspora fully support restructuring. With intelligence and diplomacy, we will get there not hate mongering and chestbeating the way a particular tribe knows how to solve issues
