History has from time to time vindicated Yorubas that we never backstabbed or betrayed Igbos for once. Meanwhile, history has shown from time to time that Igbos are the ones that backstabbed Yorubas. From their founding father Azikiwe conniving with Hausa/Fulani to discriminate and cause chaos in western Nigeria during 1st republic. To Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna and other young Igbo soldiers killing Akintola, Ademulegun and other prominent Yoruba leaders and top soldiers during January 1966 coup. We shouldn't forget about how Ojukwu decided to forcefully invade Yorubaland during Biafra war despite that those that committed pogrom against his people are located in the northern part of the country. Not let us forget how the likes of Nzeribe, Nwosu and other Igbo elites connived with IBB to annul Abiola election (the freest and fairest election in Nigeria history till date). And recently we should not all forget how one Albino bastard directed hate speeches toward Yoruba people despite the fact that Yorubaland accomodates and provide source of livelihood for millions of his brothers and sisters.

is Abiola episode all you got. ...

i quote Abiola:"i will win election with out the Igbos".. go and read your history well. .

.......betrayal. ....
Awolowo did it to Ojukwu. ..1966
yoruba also repeat it during 2015 election.

And he clearly won the election without Igbos votes just like Buhari did in the last election. Igbos vote is inconsequential in determining who becomes president in Nigeria.
The question Op is asking you is that why did Igbo elites backstabbed Abiola and Yoruba in order to lick the asses of their masters IBB and Abacha.

It is one thing to develop and another to buy. Most properties in Ikoyi, Lekki are owned by the Ibos. Yoruba's only delude themselves to think that they own Lagos. It is a no man's land. The developers develop for the Ibo cash crow to buy.

Since u assumed I am Igbo because anybody dat goes contrary to afonja is igbo, Take statistics from today, Take a sample of 500 Igbos and Yorubas then compare their standard of living then you will know which of the two tribes has a higher poverty rate, u will b surprised.

Abagworo:
[s]I know the OP probably had Igbos in mind but these are the biggest players and they don't own up to 1/50th of Lagos properties. Igbos have always been micro-property owners in hundreds of thousands. If we indeed decide to do a true census count of houses and who built them, I will not be surprised if Igbos built up to 60%. That should be appreciated and not made a subject of supremacy.[/s]

[s]No matter how authentic the list may or may not be.... The fact remains that the South easterners play a very big role in the development of Lagos. Those listed above build those estates and how many Yoruba people live in them?? Most are habited by igbos(fact).
Lagos development is not just the real estate. There can't be any thriving real estate sector without a good amount of thriving Enterprises and business outfits that would lead to mass employment and a subsequent search for accommodation. This all important function of 'mass Enterprise" is the reason why all sectors of Lagos are developing. The Igbos remain the highest investors in lagos. Whether some people like it or not.[/s]

I'm not hating, I'm just unimpressed. If you wanna host a fashion show for made in aba at least try put some effort into the organisation, arrangements and quality of the content. If Lagos were to host a made in Lagos fashion show in NY and they come up with similar arrangement, I will also insult them. This is not hating, it is saying the obvious.

You can't have trailers, trucks, heavy duty vehicles plying that road on daily basis and expect the condition of the road not to deteriorate without routine maintenance. This is federal government road, and they should do something ASAP. May be they can tell Dangote to repair it and give him tax exemption for another 10 years undecided

This is all Aba got to show in a fashion show in NY. I am very very unimpressed.....

Making noise doesn't make you relevant, it is your content and quality that do

For the dirty pigs that are going to quote me, google Folake Folarin-Coker (Tiffany Amber), Deola Sagoe, Ade Bakare, Frank Oshodi, Lola Faturoti, Lisa Folawiyo and Duro Oluwo. Each one of their fashion show is 100 times better than this eyesore displayed by the whole Aba

See some of their fashion show
