In the thread before this, we were made aware the greatness of Alvan Ikoku and the reason his face is embossed on 10 Naira note. Guess what, in a blink of an eye, NL mod had pushed another thread celebrating mediocrity to the frontpage. This and many other reasons are why Nigeria is in predicament state she is. Please Seun and NL mods you guys should soft-pedal on celebrating mediocrity on this wonderful forum. It is hugely killing the psyche of our youth. 3 Likes |

Celebrate greatness and not mediocrity.....until we make a 360 turn to start celebrating people that achieved greatness just we used to do instead of celebrating mediocres such as ex BBN housemates, baby mamas, unscrupulous celebrities and corrupt politicians. Nigeria will continue to fall and decay 13 Likes 1 Share |

afbstrategies: One thing I dislike about people like you is unnecessary pride that amounts to absolute nothing. "I know about American legal system than you do" what a shame. If you know so much about American legal system like you claim, you should know that Anthony Weiner received just 21 months sentence just as you can see in the links below https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/09/25/nyregion/anthony-weiner-sentencing-prison-sexting-teenager.html www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna803906 cnn.com/cnn/2017/09/25/politics/anthony-weiner-sentencing/index.html Do you need more proof? I'm patiently for your link that says Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 years in jail "Mr I know American legal system than you do" |

afbstrategies: I have told you to do your research before replying my post. I like the case of Anthony Weiner you brought up. This is a man that have been found guilty of multiple sexual assaults. He was even found guilty of sexting a minor 15 year old. Guess what he gets for the offences? A mere slap on the wrist of 21 months sentence. The last time I checked, he has reported to Federal Medical Center. The next thing we know is that he has been diagnosed mental illness, and he has been exonerated of all charges. American justice system is skewed, and trying to make it look fair is very unreasonable |
Celebrities / Re: Chris Brown Sued By Woman Who Claims She Was Sexually Assaulted And Raped by hilroy: 5:14pm On May 10, 2018 |
OhiOfIhima: I will urge you to do your research and be very reasonable when you're replying to my post. I'm not exonerating CB from any illegal acts he has committed, but all I'm saying is that there is a movement to bring black celebrities down and this case is one of such. There is absolute no proof that CB committed any sexual offence against this slutty Jane Doe. When it comes to black celebrities allegation, everyone is quick to judge them especially their own race. What happened to white celebrities such as Tommy Lee, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Anthony Weiner, Scott Lee Cohen and David Boreanaz that Gloria Allred filed suits against? Guess what little to nothing happened. But when it comes to Black celebrities, they are demons that should be locked up forever |
Celebrities / Re: Chris Brown Sued By Woman Who Claims She Was Sexually Assaulted And Raped by hilroy: 4:55am On May 10, 2018 |
Cheap reta.rd who.re looking for quick fame and mullar.....First of all miss Jane Doe, there is absolute nothing special about you that will make Chris Brown went through the stress to drug and rape you. Secondly, you claimed you were raped and went to rape treatment center thereafter but there isn't any proof that CB sperm or DNA was obtained from your body. Thirdly, you claimed that the cops showed up at CB house at a point, but you never deemed it fit to raise alarm that you were being held hostage. You sat your stinky as.s down in the house you've been held against your wish till the cops left. Lastly, you stinky slvt knew you were going to CB house after party and you were willing to mingle and have fun with celebrities which is what your chicken head is known for. We all know you are trying to cash out and gain quick fame in order to bring another black celebrity down, typical of you snow white biitches. We know you want to be referred to as Jane Doe because if you reveal your identity, everyone knows you're slutty biitch. And fvck you Gloria Allred for trying so hard to bring black celebrities down ugly biitch NB: shame on all you black people on this thread that are very quick to crucify CB for mere allegation that doesn't hold water. What happens to innocent until proven guilty. We know America system is out there to bring down black celebrities, but the sad part of it is that black people play key role in bringing down their own people. It is only in America that 2 old men were accused of sexual assaults by multiple women. One of them is probably going to spend the rest of his life in jail for sexual allegations committed decades ago. The other one became the president of the country despite that there was even a tape of him making sexual assault against his victims. Shame on American justice system and bigger shame on black people that try so hard to bring their own people down 24 Likes 1 Share |

This is a big disgrace for everyone of those students. And many of these students felt insulted when the president said Nigerian youth are lazy. In as much as Mr. president is wrong with such generalization, but when you see things like this it makes you feel that the comment is justifiable. 10 Likes |

nonye6194: Solid point bro. The funny thing is that many of these students are in medical/public health departments and they know the health effect of living in a dirty environment. Nigerians are very swift in putting all the blames of their life on the government but our number problem is ourselves. You need no one to tell you that you need to clean your environment cos when cholera or lassa fever outbreak happens, it's not the government or school management that will suffer from it, it's these foolish students that cannot clean their hostel. 7 Likes |

LordAdam16: If this makes you feel better, yes it is true US security check is one of the most stringent in the world but it is not as stringent as Canada own because everyone that enters Canada is accounted for. And we don't have to deal with so many foolishh people as US do. The only fools we deal with are the ones from united states, and I hope you are not one of them 1 Like |

LordAdam16: You don't have to result into insult to pass your point if you are smart enough. To put in the simplest term possible because of your comprehension inability, if US like they should have most stringent security check in the world. Canada doesn't want their illegal immigrants Just to enlighten your ignorant ass further, Canada geographical location makes it one of the most difficult places to access in the world and one of the most secured countries in the world. The only fools Canada have to deal with are the ones from south of the border with their ignoramus president 7 Likes 1 Share |

LordAdam16: I will accord you benefit of doubt that you're knowledgeable enough to know that having US visiting visa and getting screened by the so called stringent security checks guarantee you absolute no entry into Canada. If you have a visiting visa to Canada and decide to seek asylum base on socio-political situation in your country, Canada is more than welcoming to hear your story, or if you are in a warring region and you are seeking refuge in Canada, Canada is willing to look at your case and grant you stay if they deem fit. That's what Trudeau implies with his #welcometocanada tweet smartypants. Just to summarise everything for you again smarty, if US gives anyone visiting visa, they should be responsible for them. And having US visa gives you zero access to Canada. Canada is an entire separate country from US. Canada is highly welcoming to new immigrants if you deal with Canada directly. I hope I have given you enough benefit of doubt. 9 Likes 1 Share |

LordAdam16: So you think because Canada is more liberal, they should just throw their borders open for any illegal immigrant in US. Just to enlighten your ignorant suggestion, Canada population is mere 36 million compare to US that is over 325 million. Influx of illegal immigrants from US will significantly affect the welfare system and economic plan of the country. Anyone that gets into the US should be able to enter Canada. For the quoted above, after September 11, you need a visa to enter Canada from US and vice versa unless you have a Canadian passport or US passport. Even a permanent resident in Canada needs a visa to enter US and same applies to US permanent resident. The fact that Canada is still accepting these illegal immigrants without Canadian visas shows how hospitable Canada is. US will never do the same if it were to be the other way round. US should get their shiit together and be accountable for people they give visiting visa Just so you know. Canada and US are 2 separate countries. 4 Likes 1 Share |
