UNIBADAN SET TO CONDUCT PUTME EXERCISE ON THE 6TH OF AUGUST

The premier University of Nigeria- the university of Ibadan, is set to conduct its putme exercise on the 6th of August, 2016. This was made known to the public via the university's media division late this weekend in the backdrop of the release of the university's modified academic calendar.

The Vc of the university, Professor Idowu Abel Olayinka, issued a statement saying :

"The forced break caused by a communication gap between the students and the university's governing body is unfortunate but it has allowed us to finetune the date of our putme exam. The declaration made by the government concerning this year's putme came too late as the university has already developed an in house software and questions which will be used for the putme. As of now we have no dependable substitute for it (the putme). We chose the 6th of august because it coincides with our 1st semester break thus giving our staff some breathing room"

The Vc also addressed concerns about the state of the University, brought on by the erstwhile ongoing strike, and made efforts to assure the general public that all is well

this policy should always be taken before one registers for jamb and not adopt one useless policy which would affect us later.

Anywhere just hope on real postutme informations from ui starting from july.

my fears are that UI might simply go back to her previous mode of admission which was admitting candidates through Waec/Neco aggregate and it certainly won't spell good things for me cos my O level is just C6 parallel which is too low.
