www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3361640/Saudi-millionaire-cleared-raping-teenager-telling-court-accidentally-penetrated-18-year-old-tripped-fell-her.html A Saudi millionaire has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he might have accidentally penetrated the 18-year-old when he tripped and fell. Property developer Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on the young woman as she slept off a night of drinking on the sofa in his plush flat in Maida Vale, west London. He had already had sex with her 24-year-old friend and said he might have fallen on top of the teenager while his penis was poking out the top of his underwear. Married father-of-one Mr Abdulaziz was cleared of one count of rape following a trial at Southwark Crown Court. The women met Mr Abdulaziz in the exclusive Cirque le Soir nightclub in the West End on 7 August last year. Mr Abdulaziz, who had known the 24-year-old for around seven months, invited the friends to join him at his private £1,000-a-night table and bought both women a round of drinks. He later offered them a ride home in his Aston Martin. He had paid £1,000 for a private table in the club, and had bought both the girls a round of drinks. The three went back to his apartment, where he offered them vodka before taking the 24-year-old into the bedroom for sex. The teenager claimed she woke in the early hours of the morning to find Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her. Outlining the case at the start of the trial last week, Jonathan Davies, prosecuting, had told the court: 'She said "what are you doing?" he said "it's fine" indicating that her friend was asleep. She got up to find her friend, tried to wake her but couldn't, she then tried to get out of the flat as quickly as she could. cc: lalasticlala, seun |

The engagement comes as a little bit of a surprise, as rumors of their relationship only began swirling barely 6 months ago. The corruption scandal at the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) continues to produce new culprits everyday. The latest is secretary-general Jerome Valcke, who was on Thursday suspended and relieved of his duties by the body. A FIFA statement read: “FIFA today announced that its Secretary General Jerome Valcke has been put on leave and released from his duties effective immediately until further notice. Further, FIFA has been made aware of a series of allegations involving the Secretary General and has requested a formal investigation by the FIFA Ethics Committee.” Valcke was alleged to have colluded with a firm with sold tickets at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, JB Sports Marketing, to sell tickets on the black market for 3 times their prices. Valcke has already denied the allegations, through a statement by his lawyers. https://princewillblog./2015/09/18/fifa-suspends-jerome-valcke-secretarygeneral-suspended-over-ticket-fraud/

While the persecution continues to get Oscar Pistorius tried again for murder, his lawyer is trying to get the new trial cancelled. Pistorius’ lawyer, Barry Roux, argued to the South Africa’s Supreme Court of Appeal that a new trial would too long. According to Roux, the reliability and objectivity of another trial would be contaminated by the overwhelming public scrutiny that followed the first hearing. Roux also added that the first trial had left the paralympic athlete financially drained, and thus couldn’t afford a new trial. Another of his arguments was that Pistorius had already been cleared of murder on the same evidence that the prosecution was going to present again. The persecution had been unhappy with Oscar Pistorius being punished for culpable homicide, and keep trying to get him jailed for murder. The Court of Appeal will make its decision known in November. https://princewillblog./2015/09/18/pistorius-too-broke-for-new-trial/

The result of Kogi West senatorial district election was falsified by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to favour Senator Dino Melaye, the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal heard yesterday. Mr. Feinti Dada, who was the first witness called by Senator Smart Adeyemi, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the election, said the poll was fraught with irregularities in 21 units of five wards in Lokoja Local Government Area of the state. Dada was the agent of Senator Adeyemi in the election which INEC declared in favour of Senator Melaye. Dada, who was first led in evidence by the petitioner’s counsel, Chief Lateef Fagbemi, said under cross examination by the respondent’s counsel, Francis Ani, that the result of the recount ordered by the tribunal showed that INEC recorded voided votes during the election in favour of Melaye. Dada further told the tribunal that the APC never held a primary election before Melaye emerged as the candidate of the party, adding that some members of the APC went to court to challenge the emergence of Melaye as there was no primary. He added that documentary evidence from INEC backed the claim that Melaye did not go through primary. However, when counsel to INEC, Salako Adeolu, rose to cross examine the witness, Adeyemi’s counsel, Fagbemi, SAN, objected, arguing that since the commission withdrew its response to the petition, it should not cross examine Dada. Fagbemi, who noted that INEC was given the opportunity to defend itself but chose to throw away the opportunity, prayed the tribunal not to allow the cross examination by INEC counsel. But Salako told the court that since spurious and damaging allegations were levelled against the commission, he should be allowed to cross examine the witness, saying the only option available to the court was to strike out the petition. The tribunal in its ruling, however, said as far as INEC was a party in the case, it had the right to cross examine the witness but could not call any witness on its own, since it (INEC) had withdrawn its response to the petitioner’s motion.” https://princewillblog./2015/09/18/inec-falsified-result-for-dinomelaye-witness/ |

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has revealed in a new interview that she’s not easy to get. Bimbo said: – “I simply tell them to go away and live their lives. I’ve got no time for them. See, I’m not the type of lady that you can call on the phone and I will come and meet you or send a message on the Facebook or other social media platforms and I will come and meet you. I don’t do it.” “I explain to people that it’s not done, it’s ridiculous and it’s not allowed. An animal-loving couple have invited 30 creatures to celebrate their wild wedding with them, Rugby, Warwickshir, England, UK. Groom Paul Freakley and bride Janet Still, both crazy animal lovers, decided to make their big day even more special by inviting snakes, scorpions, meerkats, tarantula spiders, raccoons, foxes, owls and other wild guests. Human guests were also absolutely amused with the surprise an inventive couple prepared for them. Speaking about the ‘zoo’-themed wedding Paul said: “It’s just something a bit different really. We went to a few weddings last year and sometimes it can be a bit dull waiting for the speeches, so we thought this would be a great idea to solve that problem. It’s a really good way for people to get to know each other and enjoy the day because I think people are always naturally interested in animals. But it was a complete surprise and only a few people other than us knew that the animals were going to be there.” However, the wildlife experts spoke out against the event and exploiting exotic animals for entertainment. One of them said: “ The animals hired for such stunts are carted from one venue to another, not knowing what to expect, and some live between events in small cages. Animals are disturbed by travel and a change of environment, and are afraid of loud music and being around a lot of strangers.” https://princewillblog./2015/09/16/bride-and-groom-invite-30-wildanimals-to-their-weddingphotos/

The Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, Sitting in Abuja on Wednesday, struck out an application by Governor Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party, seeking stay of execution of an order permitting the All Progressives Congress and its candidate in the April 11, 2015 election, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, to inspect the documents used for the conduct of the poll. Dakuku and the APC had filed their petition before the Justice Mua’zu Pindiga-led tribunal to challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission’s declaration of Wike, candidate of the PDP, as the winner of the April 11 poll, which the petitioners contended was marred by electoral fraud and irregularities. Meanwhile, the Justice Mu’azu Pindiga-led tribunal also in a separate ruling on Wednesday, dismissed an application by Dakuku and the APC, seeking an order directing the Independent National Electoral Commission to transfer the electoral materials from Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, to Abuja for easy inspection. The petitioners also lost another application seeking an order of the tribunal directing that all notices of preliminary objection already filed and intended to be filed by the respondents should only be allowed to be raised in their final written addresses after the hearing of the petition. In refusing the petitioners’ application, Justice Pindiga held that the application had been overtaken by events since some of such notices of preliminary objection had already been heard. In all, the tribunal on Tuesday delivered five rulings on separate interlocutory applications filed by parties to the petition. None of the applications was granted by the tribunal. The rest of the applications which the tribunal refused to grant on Wednesday included the one by the INEC, seeking an order striking out the reply of the petitioners to its own response to the petition. The other motion was by Wike asking the Justice Pindiga-led tribunal to strike out the witness statements on oath of the respondents and the other by Wike. The tribunal held that the two applications by INEC and Wike would be entertained during hearing of the main petition. Wike, had through his counsel, Mr. Emmanuel Ukala (SAN), predicated his application for stay of execution of the order of inspection of electoral materials on the grounds that he had appealed against the June 11, 2015 ruling in which the order was made. In striking out Wike’s application on Wednesday, the tribunal held that the application was deemed abandoned since his lawyer, Ukala, chose to “dilly dally” when given the opportunity to move it on Monday. “The motion is deemed abandoned. He (Ukala) preferred to dilly dally with the case. It is our considered view that in the circumstance, the motion will not be determined on merit and same is hereby struck out,” Justice Pindiga ruled. In dismissing the petitioners’ application filed by their counsel, Chief Akin Olujimi (SAN), seeking order directing INEC to move the electoral materials from Port Harcourt to Abuja, the tribunal ruled that granting the prayer would amount to varying the ruling of June 11, 2015, when there was no application for such variation before the tribunal. The tribunal added that the provisions of section 151 of the Electoral Act, Order 25, Rule 8 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules , paragraph 41(1)of the 1st Schedule to the Electoral Act and section 36 of the Constitution cited by Wike and APC’s lawyer were not applicable to their application. “This application is considered at large and it is hereby dismissed,” Justice Pindiga ruled. The tribunal adjourned till August 24 for hearing of another application by Wike. Source: https://princewillblog./2015/08/19/wike-loses-bid-to-stop-petersides-election-documents-inspection/ |

Business cards are cards bearing business information about a company or individual. They are shared during formal introductions as a convenience and a memory aid. WHAT SHOULD BE ON A BUSINESS CARD A business card typically includes a. The giver's name, b. Company or business affiliation (usually with a logo) c. Contact information such as addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. d. Social media addresses such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. WHO NEEDS A BUSINESS CARD? Everybody. IMPORTANCE OF A BUSINESS CARD Are you guilty of being caught empty-handed when someone requested your card? Have you recently asked for someone else’s card, only to be told they were out? Although typing in someone’s phone number and email is common enough, the chances of actually initiating follow-up contact without a printed card reminder are greatly reduced. When you put someone’s card into your purse, wallet, or pocket, you will at some point have to remove it. That recollection (and the avoidance of having to ask yourself, “What was his/her name?”) has inherent value. In a world where we may be in contact with dozens of varied people throughout a day, a ‘paper trail’ helps you to remain memorable. The reasons to keep a printed business card on your person at all times are numerous: 1) Business Cards Portray Your Personal Brand The style of your card’s design immediately reinforces the impression you make upon personally meeting someone. 2) Cards Are Adaptable Depending on your line of work and the purpose of your card, it’s possible to use the back to market yourself/business. Similarly, QR codes can easily be printed on a card, bringing paper into the digital age. By scanning the code with a phone, your website or social media campaign can be instantly accessed through the physical card. Scores of QR code generators exist on the web and are simple to utilize. 3) Timelessness Matters Even if one generation begins to move away from a means of communication, there is still value in catering to those who prefer traditional means. Business cards are still valuable (even when exchanged between techie 20-somethings), but they’re certainly a necessity when interacting with older potential clients and employers. In some situations, not carrying a card and relying solely on digital contact exchanges could be viewed as unprofessional and a sign of unpreparedness. There are fringe benefits to business cards as well. In busy work/social environments, it can be difficult to remember every person’s name as you mingle and converse. Exchanging cards lets you steal a subtle glance for a reminder, allowing for a warm farewell, by name, when it’s time to part ways. Finally, the same reasons for you to carry a card apply to your own decisions about the people you choose to work with. Do you really want to hire an accountant whose card looks sloppy and disorganized? Think of your business card as an extension of your own professional attitude. Use it to convey your experience and capabilities, and hand them out with pride. Do you have your business card on you right now? Final Tip: Try not to print your Card with glossy paper because the person you exchanged the card with might like to inscribe a note for remembrance Credit: www.princewillblog. |
32year old Yvonne Adkins, left her sickly 3-month-old baby, Chantelle lying in a baby rocker and went to indulge in a nine-hour sex romp with a man she met at a bus stop. She awoke the next morning to find her baby dead in her rocker with no blanket or bed clothes. Adkins who pleaded guilty to child cruelty was given 18 months in prison, suspended for two years. Judge David Fletcher who presided over the case said; "Your desire to engage in some sexual activity with someone you hardly knew resulted in you leaving your child downstairs when you knew it was not appropriate to do that. You made a catastrophic decision that you will have to live with for the rest of your life." I have been going through job adverts and the trend is "A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE" then the question then is where will the 2years experience come from when everybody wants to employ candidates with two years experience? FINALLY, The Way Forward: The Nigerian economy is diversifying thus strength are channelled to various sectors what should we do? I) A FORUM Government, NGO's, Corporate Bodies, Communities, Individuals should engage a forum where youths should seat and discuss and truth ideas would be built to reality Ii) VOLUNTEERING Volunteering is something that has been closing the gap between theories (school work) and practical (Experience), it also gives the opportunity of Mentoring Iii) ENGAGE in Entrepreneurial Activities Stop putting yourself in a position of pity. Is that not marginalisation of youths? The greatest inventors in Africa are Youths and they are indeed successful in it. Do something it might be fish farming, poultry, bead making, photography, e.t.c. But the secret to its success is understanding the need of your environ and perseverance.
