The referee was absolutely wrong, that's not the rule, I mean red card rule, we are talking about his team mate not opposition player. Nothing but awful decision on the part of the referee
But I am even shocked that his teammate never protested, but rather escorted him out of the field.

The police only became interested because she accused them of N10k bail bribe. Otherwise police in Edo do not care even if everybody is kidnapped.

It is called courtesy. But the employee sounds like a sycophant though.
It's not courtesy, it's sycophancy.

. You won't understand....

If you had been jobless for years and you luckily land a job, especially when all hopes seems to be lost, only then you'll understand why this employee has chosen to appreciate his employer...
The only TRUE way to show your employer appreciation is to do your job well. Give your all and extra. That is the best form of appreciation. Sending text messages of appreciation upon receiving your salary is extremely unprofessional.

Then if such employer gives you a special gift in appreciation and as a reward for your dedication, you can send messages of appreciation as much as you want.

You can even copy the whole Bible and send to the employer if that will make you sleep well.
Career › Re: Woman Shares Her Staff's Response After Receiving Salary From Her by histemple: 10:45pm On Nov 22, 2025
Hardeybohwarley:
Even though her action is commendable, we need to let go of such mentality as it doesn't work in saner climes and better organisation in Nigeria.

I find it hard to see why an employer will be expecting me to show appreciation for receiving a salary I toiled for.

Was the employer thanking me while I was doing the job.
Her action is NOT commendable at all. It's actually annoying, extremely unprofessional and absolutely reprehensible.

Imagine if every staff of UBA Plc start sending appreciation messages to Tony Elumelu every month end upon receiving salary.
Crime › Re: New Victim, Jigida Queen Accuses Victor Giwa Of Fraud by histemple: 9:17pm On Nov 22, 2025
Why are they talking about 3 surviving children when it's clear that the deceased also adopted 2 sons?

You that is reading this, please get a WILL as soon as you can, to avoid crisis between your children after you have left this world.

Instead of advising your daughter to go to rehab and receive help,

you follow her to a party where they will eventually smoke wotowoto and other illicit Drugs...

Mama Regina.... Clap for yourself
The mother doesn't want her to be healed. If anything, she is better with her mischief, with Regina remaining damaged and a psychopath.

She is a business woman and Regina is both her shop and goods.

Life imprisonment is better than death sentence. Kanu should just appeal the judgment.

overdrive:
Very lame excuse.does the slaps on the teacher justify whatever he did to your child?
The one that pained me to my bone marrow was the mother slapping the teacher.
Chai if na me dead body go surplus I swear.
The woman's conduct tells you how useless she is. A responsible woman would never slap a man in presence of your husband. That is the height of shamelessness and disrespect to her husband.
Education › Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by histemple: 5:28pm On Nov 16, 2025
immortalcrown:
The student's parents claim that the teacher had repeatedly assaulted the student. Another report I read claims that the student pushed the teacher twice.

Who is lying and who is saying the truth?
It's easy to know that the parents are shameless pathological liars.

If the child has truly been subjected to sustained bullying for months, why is it not contained in their statement how they had approached the school or complained to the school authorities before now?

From the conduct of the parents, it's crystal clear that they are touts, and their child couldn't have been any better behaved. Imagine the woman joining to slap the teacher, after her husband had slapped the man repeatedly.

Very useless family.

Politics › Re: Sexual Harassment: Senate Bill Prescribes 14-Year Jail Term For Lecturers by histemple: 9:24pm On Nov 06, 2025
SmartPolician:
Psychologically speaking, this is almost impossible.

To the news, I think Nigerian laws, including this new law, are so lenient in a way that they suggest that Nigeria supports evils and criminality. Crimes like this should attract nothing less than 20 years imprisonment.

On the other hand, the senate should pass a bill that will hand down nothing less than 25 years imprisonment on convicted corrupt politicians who looted 20 million and above.
In most cases in Europe, that is what happens. So a lady can give consent for one round and withdraw it thereafter.

In fact, the lady can withdraw consent even before the act begins.

Some are just out of wickedness, that they report rape where it never existed.

She never loved you.

You caught her with her real boyfriend. As long as she's concerned, you're just a "means to an end".

The money you gave her to go see her father, she used it to take her real boyfriend out for enjoyment while you're busy taking photos.

You lose. Move on.
Absolutely on point. Nothing to add.

Lanruze:
Of course Bianca.

At almost 60 years old she still looks very attractive and can go shoulder to shoulder with any lady in her thirtes.

However, for the polls Prof. Soludo is heavily despised in Anambra Currently and there may be a big upset on APGA irrespective of the 4,000 policemen to be deployed by FG.
Soludo, despite his very obvious poor performance, will still win.

The time Obasanjo tried third term EVEN elements in his own party opposed him.

Same thing will happen to tinubu should he try it.

Nigeria is too big for one man rule. Too too big
Obasanjo tried and failed because of the peculiarities of the Nigerian state.

But I see Tinubu trying to do same by first attempting to turn Nigeria into a one-party-state.

cutecommend:
It is possible to see the best spouse for you after you are Married, but you just have to love the one you are already married to and move on.
How would you SEE if you weren't searching for another spouse while married?

What kind of interaction and connection were you building with another person while married, that made you think the grass is greener on their side?

Even if you marry this next person, you would still SEE another because you are simply irresponsible and unfaithful.
