Yes, the police has a duty to investigate and establish that the crime alleged to have been committed, was indeed committed.

But, in the instant case, the police, not being a court of law, is only limited to investigating the crime reported by the complainant.

Thereafter, it's left for the court to determine whether the accused was right or wrong. And whether due process of the law was followed. This would depend on the preponderance of evidence before the court.

I think libel and defamation should be false, for it to be a crime,. reasonably... sounding out a suspicion or crime should not be punished criminally, the authorities first need to investigate the allegations... Nigerian police should try more to do investigations before arresting, I know some of them do in some cases, but in some cases they believe what the complainant say, arrest before investigating, it should be investigation before arrests, to preserve human rights and dignity.

You are correct to a large extent. However, the onus lies on he who alleges to prove.

Our relationship just ticked the 1yrs 3months mark. I told him at the beginning that I’d love for him to propose to me b4 we start getting intimate as most relationships built on intimacy don’t last. He agreed. But as we get along, we eventually started having sex even tho it’s not how I pictured it. But I had to because I didn’t want him to leave.

At the start of this year, I made a resolution to stop giving in to sex and see how much affections he has for me looking at the fact that he’s not even asked me to be his wife. It’s always promise here and there.

If he initiated it, I always find an excuse..and most times he convinced me and I’ll give in. I won’t lie I know it’s hard because he’s had to initiate a couple of time which I denied and he’ll mostly beg and assure me of his commitment to our relationship.

However, I noticed since the beginning of the month of May, he’s stopped showing concerns. When he asked And I said no to sex, he will just say “ohh okay” and then sleep if it’s night time or pick his phone and off to gym. Nowadays he doesn’t even initiate anything nor ask for it. I asked him if he’s okay and he told me “he’s having some heavy back pain due to his recent workout routines” but I know he’s lying. He’s always like sex even after workout.

My intuition says he’s cheating and my friend confirmed same since her last relationship also ended the same way.

Tbh, I’d just stop getting worried about this and stop asking him since he’s decided to keep mute.

Peter Obi should not listen to anybody advising him not to deputize Atiku for any reason, he should accept it.

I think for their own good is better for them to pay than to appeal, because going to appeal the process of going to appeal court go finish their money and at the end of the day the appeal court can also concour with the lower court.

Sometimes going on appeal is just to buy time and frustrate the other party.

It's also the same reason some judgment debtors go all the way to supreme court. There are appeals at the supreme court that have not been attended to for about ten years.

It's not as risky as you think. Just that majority of the hotels lack structure and the managerial know-how.

The job of the receptionist far transcends just collecting money and assigning rooms. A well trained receptionist is supposed to take note of the occupants in a room and make sure that they are properly checked out.

When two persons checked into a room and one of them decides to go out, a receptionist must call the room to ensure the remaining occupant is safe and aware of the movement of the outgoing guest.

Again, when a guest presents a means of identification, it must be verified. The government approved sites for such verification abound.

It just means that the tenancy has ended
