I find this a rather offensive question. Are you seeking to trivialise my very real fears surrounding increased hostilities while going about my business? Hostilities that you are not immune from ,by the way.

I have told you exactly what the current convention is . The sensible thing for you to do is to research further to reassure yourself.

You, instead, chose to go the non-sensible route. Just as a polite inquiry, Why would you do that?

After all said and done, the bottom line is, the cause of all the unnecessary outbursts could only have been a lack of comprehension and really low emotional intelligence.

@zahra29 can you signpost me to where I can read up how the new "no dependant for care workers" affect new NHS staff?

Anyone else is welcome to help as well.

Toh Australia is flexing their immigration policies powers too. There are also calls for caps on international...

And on top of this, is it true there are no tax free thresholds for foreigners? The way UK leaves 12570 before they start the 19/20% tax?

Hi guys, I noticed the YouTube app on my note 12 doesn't load comments. At first I thought YouTube restricted the comments but when I used my Samsung the comments were visible.

Any idea how to fix this?

Salamualaikum Dear Brother. @Madam Movado19 is doing very fine. I believe it's work and co that's responsible for her scarce presence.

Yourself and other esteemed personalities here have been very scarce. I trust you're doing great too? smiley smiley

Wa alaikum salaam warahmatulahi wabarakatuh brother. I am just concerned about her as she hasn't been away for this long before. If you don't mind my asking, have you had any direct contact with her lately?

My concern is borne out of the fact that when I noticed ikupakuti's absence then, I had dismissed it as him being busy with stuff. It's been years since and no one knows why he left.

I'm just trying not to make same mistake twice smiley

What do i call it?

Hi bro, sorry I couldn't reply earlier but I see peerielass got you sorted.

The postal order is to be addressed to the Nigerian high commission while the special delivery envelope is to be addressed to yourself as it's for the return of your passport.

Please where can I get the postage stuff to take to the Naija embassy and how much is it?

Also, what else do i need to take. I have NIN and all the application documents printed out

You can get it from any post office. There's also a post office close to the NHC but there's is a tad more expensive.

Well, that's a good one, but personal as you said. I thrive more in an office setting because the full focus is on the job, but at home there would most likely be distractions... An I am still used to holding branch key and opening the doors at 6.30am and closing by 7pm Naija style. Lol

Lol.

The bolded suggests you were in banking in Naija. Are you still in banking or have you transitioned to a different career? If you don't mind.
I was in banking myself and hoping to transition, hence my curiosity.

As you have experience in retail banking search for job in the same area for a start, gain more experience to enhance your CV.

Do you have at least a yr left on your visa?

I have almost a year of UK banking experience but most of such roles do not sponsor work visas.

No, roughly 9 months.

Personally i suggest that you look for job in a area you have experience already(if your retail banking experience is not from the UK) then switch after a year or two. You can check https://uk.indeed.com/q-retail-banking-l-london-jobs.html?vjk=65cba1bd6f2550a0

Are you on student visa or dependant?

Dependant
