My e-fam, I need advice.

I have two roles that I have been in my current company. I have worked here 10years. The role I intend to use for the EE is a previous role with almost 8 years experience. My current role is different from this. Should I include my current role in my reference letter? It may be a colleague or myself that would write the reference letter since my org does not issue such ref letter in CIC format. Need to know before I commence pen to paper.

Hello all,
I have a few questions as I prepare for ITA, which hopefully I should get sometime in May. My wife and I are applying (with her as the PA). We were just informed by our respective contacts in our schools that they have sent our verification back to WES. So hopefully our WES ECA reports should be out sometime around middle of May. We have also scaled through IELTS and our CRS stands at 458. So my question is how early can we begin to put together our requirements?

How long does it take on the average to schedule a medical test and get the report out? Is it okay for the date on the medical report to precede ITA? the earlier the better qlife might give u a May date or even June if not book IOM for your medical it's called upfront medical the report is the same date

Is it or the date on the employment reference letter to precede ITA? If so, boy how many weeks? In other words, can we start processing job reference letter in April even though we may not apply till May ending? If u can get it now it ok there is no time duration to reference letter

Are there any requirements that I can only start processing after ITA? Or can I just start collating everything now? you can start collation now so as to save you time post ITA and make you submit your application on time

but actually you should let them know, since your family composition has changed. guess in your form IMM..... you filled, that your family composition hasn't changed, now that it has changed, you should let them know

BUT WILL IRCC GIVE COPR TO A PERSON THAT HAS COPR? confusion break bone

it's best to confirm from them, Je m'apelle tweet to them

They both have separate CoPR so all man for himself since they are yet to marry so family composition has not yet changed

Hi,

My now fiance and I applied separately and we both have our COPR, but yet to land in Canada. We are now considering getting married before we land in Canada. It's just a small wedding. If we do proceed with the wedding, do we need to inform IRCC? How would this affect our COPR? We are trying to avoid having to come back for the wedding lol.

Any suggestions please?
IMO like you said do a small trad wedding here travel together after some months legalize it in court over there in Canada

Remedicals

On getting back to Nigeria, I struggled to get remedicals done. Qlife was booked till April and they couldn’t squeeze me in while IOM said the earliest they could do for me was first week of March. I decided to write to Accra asking for an extension but after all the suffer when I don suffer, I really did not want to extend anything. That was how I came across @Hobyno offering his Qlife slot to someone who was also looking for an early date but fortunately the date was too soon for her grin. I quickly went inbox to beg him for the slot and he graciously agreed.

Once again, THANK YOU @Hobyno.

Two days later, as at 6:04am I was already at Qlife for my medicals. Before 10am I was done and headed straight to VFS for passport submission.

My brethren na so o like joke like joke, my dream turned reality before my very eyes.

My journey was a long and bumpy one but las' las', na God win. grin

Congrats once again I'm happy I could help but you have been a source of support to me always willing to help when I run into difficult time while filling my application always readily available to spend your airtime to call and explain to me in details. May the land favor you.

Please help a sister ooo.

I have Diploma in Law, LLB and Masters in Law.

My question is will I have to get transcript for all these certificates including transcript from Law school?

If yes which is better for evaluation WES or IQAS.

Thank you for your swift response.

Evaluate only your LLB using IQAS

Thank you. 2 more questions pls, if you don't mind.

1. We plenty for our family, half brother and sister things. But I only want to put one person's name? Is this advisable? I can't be calling the others to request for their details.

2. My spouse is not coming with me. He is still doing 'gbonku, gbonku' (lol) What reasonable excuse can I state pls?

Please add them even my dead father that I'm not sure of his birth month and day I added him

You can use work commitment

Congrats to all those who have clinched ITA, PPR and crossed one hurdle or the other.

I just started following this thread mid-January, when I made the decision to leave this country.

I have crossed the ielts hurdle. MOD LSWR- 8.5,8,7.5,9
I want to start the ECA process. I have LL.B from a Nigerian university and 'LL.M from a South African university.

1. Which evaluating body would be best in terms of cost and time? Time is of the essence here as my next birthday is in September and this may affect crs score.
2. What steps do I need to take, from my end, to start the evaluation process?

My husband has Bsc (computer science) and Hnd elect/elect both are from Nigerian schools. Which evaluating body would be best for him? Also, i can see people talking about WAEC verification.

I would be the PA. Elders in the house, I need your guidance.
Check requirements for southAfrican school evaluation with Wes which I think is faster and would give you maximum point simulate your CRS scores with him doing ielts 6,6,6,6 if the points is high he may leave out his evaluation if not he may just evaluate his Bsc using ICES bearing in mind it might take up to 12weeks he can also use WES if his school can verify his cert fast enof mind u he will require WAEC for WES evaluation

Wow!!!! So happy for you Prof. Congrats!!! Congrats!!! Thanks for your very detailed story. I wish you success in Canada and your other endeavours.

Actually, you deserve 9.9/10 but you used Roman numerals instead of Latin numerals. Your exclamation sign was too much, you should have used dots instead. Also you did not provide proper referencing and documentation to support your story. So I will score you 8.99/10. If you want remark, provide ADRs. EOR is free grin

Hilarious marking grin
