PoliticsRe: International U.N Laws On Lawful Transfer Of Wanted Persons by hodari: 3:32am On Jul 08, 2021
You can wail all you want but Kanu's goose is cooked. He'll remain locked up for a long, long time to come.

In 1999 Intelligence service of Turkey carried out a controversial covert operation in Kenya, which resulted in the kidnapping of Kurdish separatist militant Abdullah Öcalan. Öcalan, 74, is the leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which Turkey and several other countries have designated a terrorist organization. He remains imprisoned to this day.

I completely agree with you sir. The British have found out that he is dispensable and thrown him under a moving train. I believe he is a front as well for some powerful and vicious state actors.
You are wise. The dishevelled designer wearing "freedom fighter" aka destabilising agent has been thrown under the bus by his British handlers.

Multiple sources have confirmed their secret police was involved. This denial is a CYA (cover your ass) move because they are now scared of retaliation by the vast Igbo community in Kenya. Those guys control significant portions of the country’s economy.
Developers now control Kenya?? grin grin You people are brainless.

Gentlemen, the Federal Government wishes to commend the Nigerian security and intelligence agencies, who collaborated to re-arrest the proscribed IPOB leader in one of the most classic operations of its type in the world.
Chai, see finishing. Some people will not sleep well this night. Don't quote me oo.

TravelRe: Africa's Biggest Stadium To Become Coronavirus Field Hospital by hodari:
TMKsouth:
The iconic FNB Stadium in Johannesburg is set to be redesigned into a 1,500 bed treatment centre to help cope with the coronavirus pandemic in South Africa.

Dubbed Soccer City at the time, it was the flagship venue during the 2010 Fifa World Cup, and is a major tourist attraction in the City of Gold.

Boogertman and Partners - the company that designed the stadium - says the layout of the venue lends itself very well to creating space for patients, medical staff and suppliers to move through a treatment system while keeping the distancing needed to minimise the risk of increased infection.

“From basement level to the upper suite levels each tier of the stadium was assigned a role in the flow of treatment from testing and patient assessment to high care in ICU units
."

Just days after the lockdown was announced last month, a team of professionals including architects, hospital-design specialists, interior and urban designers responded to a 72-hour turnaround brief to turn the stadium into a field hospital.

The final proposal is a holistic solution that included adjusting a NHS patient flow process from admission to treatment and escalation to ICU wards if needed, right through to mortuaries and provisions for the safety, protection and rest areas for medical staff.

If the facility operates at full capacity, 4,500 people, from patients to medical specialists and support staff, can be accommodated.

South Africa currently has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases on the continent, at over 3500.
Man I remember World Cup 2010 at that stadium. It was still new then. The opening match was Mexico vs SA. After we went to a local shebeen in Soweto for drinks. Very good memories. I was staying at Germiston.

I pray you guys overcome COVID-19.
TravelRe: How Nicely Have You Been Treated In A Foreign Country? by hodari:
Let's be honest with ourselves here, Nigerian travellers are treated like stray dogs and criminals everywhere in this world.

Is it not in Schiphol airport, Amsterdam and other European airports where they even have special screening booth for Nigerian passport holders. Malaysia and Canada have tightened their borders for us, USA has completely banned us. What of Italy where Nigerian ashawos are servicing clients in the bush by the roadside like wild animals huh. The other day a gang of Nigerians were arrested in Papua New Guinea for 419. Papua New Guinea sef, a godforsaken hell hole in the middle of nowhere. Even in African countries like South Africa, Kenya, Ghana na the same wahalla for Nigerians. Yeye dey smell.

Its time to recognise the soiled image of this country and reassess our national values. Why would any foreigner mind you when you cannot mind yourself? I weep for this country people dey suffer. My wife is currently working in Europe and stays in a nice part of town, but I don't stay there and don't even enjoy visiting that country. You cannot have peace as a black man. When people spot you on the road they cross the street quickly and some even call police because they see you as an armed robber.

When we visit my wife's parents in Kenya, a small village oo they have 24 hour light and no fuel shortages yet their country has no oil or gas. How does Nigeria, the 9th largest crude oil producer, have no light, fuel scarcity, in 2020. Is that not madness? People will respect you only when you respect yourself. Shikena.

How many Nigerians earn more than 36 million naira annually let alone have it somewhere to purchase a citizenship? Those aren't your regular folks and those who have such money know what to do and can pay the like of Henley and Partners to do the work.
Someone else was suggesting obtaining Botswana citizenship for US$93,000. I was just offering a different perspective.

There are some Caribbean countries that offer citizenship to investors. These countries are very popular with those looking for a second passport which can offer them visa free travel to over 100 – 140 countries world wide, including access to the EU Schengen zone and the UK. You must invest US$100,000 to be eligible.
