TravelRe: Guidelines Settling Down In Manitoba Canada by hodari: 2:25am On Apr 19, 2020
bilulu:
A guideline for those planning to relocate to Manitoba, Canada.
First of all, your documentation is done at the point of entry, right there your PR papers are signed. This must be done before you leave the airport to your destination.
Secondly there are important documents you need to have to be able to function properly as a resident of Canada. I'll take them gradually. But before that, there is what is called "Manitoba start". It is a body that gives new comers orientation about the province. They can help you settle down as they can answer any of your questions or guide you. Also they give lectures on how to find jobs, they teach you how to write resume according to Canadian standard. It is not compulsory to attend the orientation classes.
Back to the neccessary documents. The first one is SIN (social insurance number). You can get this at your (POE) or any service Canada within your locality. Almost like BVN, everybody (PR, students, asylum seekers) must have this number for you to function except you don't want to operate bank accounts. Please don't share your SIN to anybody except your employer. Canadian government will never ask for it over the phone. Your whole savings will be gone the moment "those boys" get hold of it.
Also your health card. Remember health is almost free in Canada so you must acquire your health card the very week you arrive. It is advised that you must be with it at all times. Then make sure to get a family doctor. Most treatments are free but drugs ain't free. Their health doesn't cover eyes and dental. There are other stuff it doesn't cover but it does cover delivery.
Driver's license. I will like to beg, don't come to Manitoba without a driver's license except you don't want to drive for 2 years. It is legal to drive with your home license for 90 days only. You can register for your license at your pace but note that because of the weather everyone is encouraged to drive. Their screening consist of knowledge test and road test. Knowledge test is quite simple if you prepare well. For the road test, except you want to repeat it overtime please don't come with the mentality of "I have been driving since I was 10". Until I landed, I never knew what parallel parking was. Please note that your license is a criteria for most jobs. They will boldly state it. If you drink and want to drive please don't be caught because they can detect the slightest alcohol in your system. Don't beat the traffic especially the ones with camera, you will see your ticket at your doorstep the following day. Don't forget the government knows were everyone lives.
Job: Yea their are jobs. Most professional jobs require you to pass their professional exam before you can practice. Don't come with the mindset of I have been this or that, bros, they will tell you to write it. And until you pass, you won't practice.
Again to get some or better jobs, you will have to go back to school to either get their certificate or just a certification. Some doctors or engineers from other countries (not Nigeria) can spend 3-5 years without practicing just because they haven't passed the exam.
Mind you, there are jobs you can do that will survive you till you get your dream job. Please note that, you can also apply for jobs with certification or going back to school and you will get it. Also note that experience matters more than that paper you call certificate. It's all about what you can do. Did I mention you can do two jobs? Yes you can, it depends on your strength. Manitoba's minimum wage per house is $11.65. So no job pays below that and alot of jobs pay above that. A certified plumber can get upto $17 or more per hour.
Did I forget to talk about the weather? It can go as low as -50°c so please stop at Kontagora when coming to pick up bend down select winter jackets for about 2k and sweaters except you have enough to buy here. Average jackets can go for $200, you can get for $500 or even more so the choice is yours. Then get your winter boots and gloves.
I know there are alot I have forgotten so please feel free to add and also make the necessary corrections.
Warning: Manitoba and most of the Prairie provinces are extremely cold and job opportunities may be hard to come by. Even once booming Alberta don cast.

It's better to try Toronto (Ontario), Montreal (Quebec) or Vancouver (British Columbia).

And you're a pathological liar too. You had earlier mentioned 'Nigerians' and you never specifically made mention of the scammers.

Come for Nigerians and I will come for you. Go and lecture your crack addicted, drug peddling, pant sagging, baby mamaism, high school dropout, criminally minded people.

Your people commit vicious crimes all over the United States. They can't commit crime overseas because 99% of them have no passports or are too poor to afford airlines tickets to faraway countries. The few black Americans that do have passports have them because they're in the U.S military, airforce or navy.

Don't worry, when the electoral college makes Trump president again in November of this year, Cheeto will send your black hateful behind back to the cotton plantations. Remember, Cheeto is looking to make America white again. I mean, great again. cool
You're an idiot if you think those MAGA racists know the difference between an African-American and a Nigerian. To them you're all N. I. G. G. E. R. S

Africans have been migrating from time immemorial:

St. Maurice
Saint Maurice was the leader of the legendary Roman Theban Legion in the 3rd century, and one of the favorite and most widely venerated saints of that group.

Alessandro de' Medici

Our reputation as been wrecked globally mostly because of the 419 email scams and drug smuggling in Asian and illegal immigration. Unless they have interacted with Nigerians that gave them a good impression, they usually have negative impressions of us.
That's right. Now the scammers and druglords have been kicked out of Thailand and Malaysia.

They have now flooded Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines and Mynamar. Very sad situation.

When you land in a civilized country, you can't help but curse the organized mafia crime syndicate that has been ruling Nigerian since 1960 and turned it into a fantastically corrupt shithole. Why can't they attempt to try and transform the country to look like any of the countries where they like to spend their loot.

I often hear people say how dirty New York is lol. Did you ever go to Brighton while you lived on London? I have only been the London and would have liked to explore other cities in the country.
I've never been to Brighton. I was a struggling student so didn't have much money to travel around UK. I visited Ireland and Glasgow, Scotland as part of my program.

I forgot Bangkok, Thailand Thong Lo area.. Very lovely and exciting country and very cheap too. This is a major tourist attraction globally. However, certain "developers" from East have spoiled Africans name there with 419 and drug trafficking angry

Singapore-The cleanest and most organised city I've ever been to. Very wealthy place too. Weather is like Naija own. Extremely expensive place.

London-did my masters degree there at UCL. Lived in a very boring onyibo area, so my weekends were spent gallivanting in Brixton, Peckham and such rough areas. Enjoyed myself thoroughly. The city is very multicultural with people from all over the world.

Dubai what can I add that hasn't been said already. Dubai is simply a dazzling city. You can't even know your in a desert considering how green the place is. Wonderful memories on Sheikh Zayed Road and the backstreets of Deira.

New York Very dirty, noisy and overated city. The subway is the dirtiest place I've ever seen, full of giant rats, army of homeless people and it stinks. Very multicultural city. Nigerians are many in Brooklyn and Bronx.

Geneva Beautiful small city in Switzerland. The Swiss are extremely organised, the country works like a precision clock. Very clean and extremely weathly country. The problem is that it is very, very, very expensive. A meal in their Mcdonald is upto CHF 40, talk less of going to a decent restaurant sef. Nonetheless, if you have the money it's a beautiful and splendid country.

Amsterdam very liberal city. Marijuana and prostitution are legalised. The oloshos parade themselves in the Red light area on the shop windows and you get to choose like meat in a supermarket. This is for tourist because the rest of the Netherlands is very conservative.

Johannesburg most of Jozi is almost like Europe especially places like Sandton. The transport system is very good with Gautrain and BRT. Soweto is in most parts a surprisingly wealthy and organised place. However, the old CBD is really messed up. Its dirty and very dangerous. Places like Hillbrow is just like Ajengule with dirty street vendors, rampant prostitution, violent crime and drug trafficking. No wonder the locals have turned xenophobic. I don't blame them. Despite being in Africa, Johannesburg gets extremely cold in May, June, July with snowfall. Be prepared accordingly.

RomanceMarried Women Who Have Affairs Are Happy in the Relationships But Just Bored by hodari(op): 12:07pm On Apr 15, 2020
Women who cheat on their husbands are happily married but just 'bored' in the bedroom, a new study has found.

Those who have affairs do not feel 'unloved' by their partners nor have any desire to leave them, the British and U.S. researchers concluded.

Instead, they are searching for more 'romantic passion' in their sex lives.

The study, presented at the annual American Sociological Association conference in San Francisco, involved interviews with 100 women who used a dating site for married people.

They were all heterosexual, married and aged between 35 and 45, according to phys.org.

Two thirds of the women - 67 per cent - said they sought an affair on AshleyMadison.com in a bid to spice up their sex lives.

Only 47 per cent discussed the number of potential suitors they were searching for - but of those who did, all wanted to cheat with just one man.

Incredibly, none had any desire to divorce their husbands - and several even spoke of their 'love' for their partners.

Lead author Professor Eric Anderson, of the University of Winchester, said: 'Being happy in marriage is far different than being happy in bed.'

'The most surprising finding is that none of the 100 women were looking to leave their husbands.

'Instead, they were adamant that they were not looking for a new husband. Many even stated their overt love for their husbands, painting them in a positive light.'

Prof Anderson, chief science officer at AshleyMadison.com, added that the findings challenge the idea that women have affairs because they feel 'something is wrong with the emotional aspect' of their marriage.

It comes just days after a UK study revealed a quarter of Britons have had an affair and most are not satisfied with their sex lives.

One in four people admitted to being unfaithful at one time in their lives and a fifth of those surveyed felt tempted to cheat in their current or past relationships.

Meanwhile, nearly one in three men and more than one in five women claimed to have had more than ten sexual partners.

The figures were released by the charity Relate in a report called The Way We Are Now, which documented the state of the UK's relationships in 2014.

Getting a student visa to Netherlands is easy as long as you get admission and pay the tuition. The problem is getting a job after the you get your 1 year post graduate work permit. Many Nigerians end up back home.

It is hard to get a job there because they put Dutch Nationals,EU citizens first before they look at your application.
Not only that, you need to speak Dutch very well even to work in McDonalds. I’m a former resident of Limburg.
